FOUNDATION IN SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY

UNIKL MALAYSIA ITALY DESIGN INSTITUTE Combining a sound manufacturing engineering base with a carefully designed curriculum, UniKL Malaysia Italy Design Institute (UniKL MIDI) aims to produce graduates who are able to play a significant role in engineering. The graduates are exposed to hands-on mode of training that will enable them to acquire good understanding of the aesthetic, analytic and manufacturing skills to effectively develop innovative designs and products of high commercial value.

FOUNDATION IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYThe Foundation in Science & Technology programme is designed for local and international students who wants to pursue into any undergraduate programmes here at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL). The foundation programme is a 1 year and 2 months programme which combines academic and technical training.

PROGRESSIONStudents who successfully complete the foundation programme will be automatically progressed into the first year of any Bachelor programme in the fields of engineering, engineering technology, chemical engineering, information technology, multimedia and business programmes at UniKL.

FOUNDATION IN COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

UNIKL MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYDuring the emergence of information technology in 1980’s, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology(UniKL MIIT) was already at the forefront in providing IT education in Malaysia. It started as an institute providing training for students in computer programming.

Since its inception, MIIT has rapidly developed as the top Institute providing Technical Education. Graduates from UniKL MIIT are highly in-demand due to the unique curriculum design which is catered for the interest of the industries such as Multimedia and Animation, Electronics, IT and Network, and Software development.

FOUNDATION IN COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY (FICT) Foundation in Computer Technology is designed to emphasize on practical and hands-on where by the students participate actively for their learning. This programme will produce graduates who are knowledgeable and competent in Computer Technology fields, qualified and capable to pursue further education at Universiti Kuala Lumpur.

PROGRESSIONStudents who successfully complete the foundation programme will be automatically progressed into the first year of any Bachelor programme in the fields of information technology, computer science, multimedia design and computer animation.

TUITION FEES : Partial Scholarship Guaranteed Malaysian Students : RM5,500 (actual fee : RM 15,000) International Students : RM9,750 (actual fee : RM 19,500)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Passed SPM / O-Level with at least 5 (five) credits including Mathematics, and 1 (one) other science subjects, or other qualification from education institution recognized by Malaysian Goverment.

UNIKL BUSINESS SCHOOLUniKL Business School was established in 2008. The school was established to pursue the university’s vision to be the premier entrepreneurial technical university in the region. UNIKL ROYAL COLLEGE OF MEDICINE PERAKFoundation in Medical Scinces programme is a foundation in nature to prepare holistic students to enter bachelor degree in medical and health sciences. The programme is designed to produced students that is knowledgeable and competent in medical sciences. It provides the academic preparation required for admission into medicine and health sciences. The programmme fulfill basic theory, current concepts, professional behavior and ethics, use if ICT, use of quantitative and market relevance to enrol into medical and health sciences studies. The programme offers the students with knowledge, skills and practice needed for a brighter career pathway, at the same time instill self-management qualities and helps in character development.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Passed SPM / O-Level with at least grade B in 5 subjects inclusive :Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, Physic, Chemistry, Biology,one other subject. Credit in Bahasa Melayu and English, or other qualification from education institution recognised by Malaysian Goverment.
