BT KIDZ is a program designed to get kids excited about learning the Word of God by worshiping Him and studying the Bible. BT KIDZ starts at birth and continues through 5th grade, with programs catered for each grade level. We meet on Sundays for Sunday School & Kidz Worship and on Wednesdays for AWANA.
What is BT Kidz?
AWANA is an exciting opportunity for children to benefit spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally from each weekly meeting. Our AWANA clubs offer a positive, loving atmosphere for children to memorize Scripture and study the Bible. It also includes fun events like Grand Prix, Bible Quiz, and AWANA Games.

Core 32 is the Junior High Ministry of BT, and Refuge is the High School Ministry. These ministries are dedicated to help the students of the Rio Grande Valley: Know God, Glorify God, and Make Christ Known.
Core 32 & Refuge
Sunday Morning: 9am & 11amCore 32 & Refuge meet during both services, separated according to junior high or senior high. Students will have an opportunity to grow deeper in their faith through studying assorted Biblical top-ics. Focus is placed on the Bible, the life of Christ, and systematic theology. Lessons are taught by a knowledgeable, mature adult and allow for engaging, interactive discussion.

Sunday Night: 6pm-8pmD-Groups are small groups that meet in a more intimate setting of a home, where they will walk through life with their peers. Stu-dents will find support in their faith during good times and difficult times. Groups meet according to age and gender.

Cultivate is the name of our plan for discipleship in order to fulfill the Great Commission.
Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matt. 28:19-20)
Veritas, which means truth in Latin, is a community of Christ fol-lowers in pursuit of the Truth. We gather weekly to connect with God and with others through the study of His word.
Veritas is the ministry of BT McAllen that is geared toward college students, singles, and young professionals.
Veritas has one or two social events a month. Generally, social events consist of game nights, movie nights, monthly birthday parties, service opportunities, and other fellowship related events.
Likewise, Veritas is committed to being globally minded andparticipates in one to two mission trips a year with BT McAllen.For example, this past summer Veritas sent out a team that minis-tered to Iraqi refugees in Southern California.

Fellowship & outreachThe purpose of Cultivate is to provide good soil & plant seeds that will yield a bumper crop.
But those seeds that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word, accept it and bear fruit, thirty-, sixty-, and a hundredfold. (Mark 4:20) It is our goal to make healthy, mature disciples who areknowledgeable about God, His church, His Word, and effective Christian living.

The BT Christian Counselor is a person trained to listen and care for others. BT Christian Counselors are paraprofessionals (in other words, we are not licensed, paid professional therapists).
As BT Christian Counselors, we are trained in the skills of listening, clarifying, and goal setting, all undertaken through prayerful sub-mission to the leading of God.
We offer a response to your personal or family needs based on the Christian understanding of giving ourselves to our neighbors. As such, there are no fees incurred in seeing a BT Christian Counsel-or.
Besides the individual counseling provided, there are several pro-grams that we offer throughout the year. Some of them are as follows:

Senior Ambassadors is the name of our ministry for those ages 55 and up. We gather together for Bible studies, games, food, and fellowship. We also attend Sr. Camp at Zephyr Baptist Encamp-ment near Corpus Christi twice a year.

At BT, Pastoral Care is divided into four areas: Hospital Care, Grief Care, Family Care & Church Care.
Uno Mas is a regional singles ministry that is under the umbrella of the BT Community. Even though a majority attends BT McAllen, the ministry is not limited to just BT members.
Essentially, the purpose of Uno Mas is to minister to singles, re-gardless of age, in the McAllen area and to provide an environment that fosters both fellowship and spiritual growth.
Uno Mas meets regularly on Wednesdays for Bible Study and on Sundays for Sunday School at BT. Just as in the kingdom of God, there’s always room for “one more.”
What is pastoral care?what is uno mas?
Each of our pastors, as well as some lay ministers, have an assigned day to make hospital visits. We rely on our members to fill out a Hospital Visit Card while at church, request a visit online, or just give us a call and let us know if they have a friend or loved one in the hospital.
Grief Care is a program that we are excited about and eager to imple-ment. We would like to have a member of our church, who has gone through a loss in the past, spend time with those who have just lost their loved one. It is a way for our members to minister to each other.
Family Care is for families who are struggling with family-related issues. This involves Bible-centered counseling and time-tested parenting skills. This is not just for those who have kids, it’s also for couples who are planning to have children and want to make sure they are on the same page with each other and with God. Once the little one arrives, we also offer parents the opportunity to dedicate their child to the Lord during our worship services through our Children’s Ministry.
Church Care is our volunteer program. We encourage all our members to serve each other by volunteering in various ministries. There are op-portunities to serve children, youth, or adults. Whether you prefer teach-ing, greeting, translating, giving out information, or being a barista, we have a place for you to serve!

P:31 Powerhouse is a ministry of women loving and serving one another and the community. The vision of this ministry is a “call to action” and “no woman left behind.”
We are dedicated to Relational Leadership: A Team caring and connected, A Vision for eternal priorities and objectives and A Commitment to and plan for growth. We have a place for every woman, no matter what season of life she is in, to plug in and serve our Lord and Savior.
Biblical counseling and mentoring is also only a phone call away. The Ministry Team is ready to pray with you and help in any way they can.

Relevant Worship, as one of BT’s 3 Pillars, takes shapeevery weekend in our 3 services.
Our mission is to reflect and make known God’s Word, character and attributes through music and song for the glory of God and the growth and spiritual development of the BT community.
The songs we sing glorify the greatness of God and place the cross and its atoning work as a central theme. We believe in the power of music to achieve this goal of conveying Bible-based truths which hold the power to transform lives.

The Multimedia Ministry at BT McAllen carries the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually-driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media.
This ministry provides the audio/visual, creative, and technical components required for our weekend worship services. We also provide support to the other ministries of the church utilizing digi-tal and electronic media as an outreach tool. Events and services are made available for online viewing via our website, our new BT App and on iTunes.
There are many opportunities for church members to serve in the ministry all the way from camera operator to technical director, from lighting control to visual projection.
The Multimedia Ministry is looking for those who have a strong desire to learn. Along with a passion to serve the Body of Christ, we can make His name famous around the world!

BT Men’s ministry strives to cultivate manhood in every man who comes through our ministry. First Corinthians 13:11 states, “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put aside childish things.” Created by the King of kings, and called to die to self and surrender our all to him, a man of God strives to live for God by loving him with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength, and by loving his neighbor as himself.
Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” The men of BT Men’s Ministry are a diverse group, and it is in this diversity that unity in the Spirit brings about the most beautiful harmonies in the body of Christ. Through Biblical teach-ing, relevant worship, and global concern that is geared towards the heart, soul, mind and strength of a man, the BT Men’s Ministry will be a journey of faith that sharpens our relationship with God, and with one another. La misión de nuestra iglesia es hacer discípulos, enseñándoles a de-sarrollar una relación personal con el Señor Jesucristo, a través de la Escritura.
La manera en la que la llevamos a cabo es a través de 3 columnas, sobre las cuales se sostiene nuestra iglesia para compartir elmensaje del evangelio y desarrollar a los discípulos, y estas son:1. El mensaje expositivo de la Palabra.En Familia Semilla estudiamos la Palabra de Dios, verso a verso,capítulo por capítulo, libro por libro.
2. El método inductivo de estudio de la Palabra de Dios.Observar, entender y aplicar la Palabra de Dios.
3. El ciclo reproductivo de la Iglesia. Todos tenemos que reproducirnos, y esto se lleva a cabo en la columna vertebral de nuestra iglesia, que son las células, es decir, los grupos en casa. En las células aprendemos, oramos y nos desarrollamos como dis-cípulos, para que tomando nuestro lugar en el cuerpo de Cristo, po-damos reproducirnos, y convertirnos en servidores de otros.El primer paso es tomar el discipulado básico que llamamos “Semb-rados en Buena Tierra”, www.sembradosenbuenatierra.com, ya que la Palabra dice “¿cómo andarán dos en el camino sin estar deacu-erdo?”.

The Gathering is the name of our Deaf Ministry at BT McAllen. We minister to those who are hearing-impaired and to their families.
We also host many who are taking courses to learn American Sign Language. We are a lively bunch who loves to fellowship, and we welcome newcomers!
Come join us on Sundays for Bible study and for worship(interpretation provided).
The community prayer service is a gathering of diverse people from across the community who seek to experience God through prayer and worship. We believe in PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens) and have seen God work miraculously time and time again through the prayers of His people.
The community prayer service is open to all who want to participate in intimate worship, seek God in prayer, experience His presence, and see the Kingdom advance.
