Like clockwork, you can soon expect the next release of

the popular FIFA franchise of games to hit store shelves. This time, EA is upping the game with a host of new innovations that will not only improve gameplay but the way in which you interact with your virtual teams. Players will now make use of the Personality+ system that will ensure your players will be as close to their real-life counterparts as possible. With 36 attributes and 57 traits available to players, each character in the game can be made as unique as possible.

Players will also be able to keep their team up-to-date without the need to log onto their consoles. For Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers, you can access, customise, share your team and customise your stadia from anywhere in the world via the Creation Centre web application. Additionally, on those same platforms, Be a Pro and Manager mode have been combined into a single career mode, in which you can follow your progress over the course of 15 seasons as player, manager or a combination of both.

Ready to take on THQ’s UFC Undisputed series

is EA Sports MMA, a mixed martial arts game which will supposedly feature a roster of around 60 fighters, made up of mixed martial arts experts like Randy Couture, Fabricio Werdum, Andrei Arlovski and Frank Trigg. Venues in the game will include both rings and cages. In addition to the standard Unified Rules set, the game will also make

use of Pride style rules. Other fighting games may make use of random, unseen number crunching and dice rolls to determine your success when striking opponents, but EA Sports MMA will instead make use of a unique vulnerability system that will punish or reward your behaviour during fights. Total Strike Control is a system, much like the Fight Night series’ Total Punch Control system,

which will allow you greater control over the type of strikes you want to throw at foes. Both southpaw and orthodox styles will be supported.Players will be able to execute foot stomps and fight off the cage, with a strong focus on clinchwork and countering. Commentary will be provided by Mauro Ranallo and Frank Shamrock.

The Medal of Honor series has been kicking

around since 1999; we guess that means it’s time for a reboot. And, oh, what a reboot this is. Set during the Afghanistan war of 2001, players will take on the roles of “Tier 1” (Joint Special Operatives Command) military operatives in their small, precision strikes on Afghani strongholds. Additionally, a smaller portion of the single player campaign will see the player as a part of the “Big Military” side of things - the larger, grunt-force army that focuses more on dealing out loads of damage in a wide area of effect rather than specialised, precise attacks.

For those more interested in the multiplayer component, which is in development by Battlefield veterans DICE, you’ll be happy to know that this Frostbite-powered mode could certainly be a contender for the FPS crown, at least for now. Players will engage in a variety of modes, from deathmatch to objective-based surgical strikes similar to those of Battlefield, and will have access to a large number of unlockable weapons, gadgets and experience levels, and plenty more to keep you busy over the months.

TIER 1EDITION

Same Price as Standard MOH

• Early Tier 1 Access - Instant access to the Assault Class Tier 1 bearded

operator with unique camouflage will set the Tier 1 Edition owner apart from

the other players.

• M60 Assault rifle - This immensely powerful Assault Rifle is unique to the Tier

1 Edition. The perfect remedy to an AK47 attack.

• MP-7 - A weapon utilised by Tier 1 Operators in the field. With its light

weight, high rate of fire as well as its ability to penetrate body armour, the

MP7 handles like a pistol yet allows targets to be engaged like a rifle.

• TOZ194 and 870MCS Shotguns - Get instant access to these two devastating

shotguns for close-range fights.

• Spec Ops Class Camouflage - Players can don this unique camouflage to

help them disappear into the environment as well as distinguish themselves

from the other standard grunts.

With Criterion Games (who develop the

excellent Burnout series of games) at the helm for this reboot of the Need for Speed series, there’s reason to be very, very excited for this one. We’re headed back to the series’ roots: exotic, high-powered cars and driving really, really fast,

with the occasional run-in with the cops thrown in for good measure. You’ll be able to play as either a cop or a racer, with separate, full-length single-player campaigns for each. Your choice will determine the power-ups you get to use on the roads. The cops get roadblocks and aerial

support, for example, while the racers get access to special abilities like boost and radio scramblers to lose the fuzz. Autolog, described by the developers as Facebook for the game, is a built-in social-network system that’ll let you keep track of your friends’ achievements, top scores

and progress. Some of the vehicles revealed as being in the game so far include the Ford Shelby GT500, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and the McLaren MP4-12C. Promising to be both fun and accessible, the game will feature multiple multiplayer game modes for up to eight players.

The fourteenth instalment in the Final Fantasy

franchise is the second outing into the online space for Square Enix, their previous MMORPG being Final Fantasy

XI. It’s set in a land called Hydaelyn (primarily in a region of Hydaelyn called Eorzea), in which fantasy and science-fiction elements blend together as one. The

battle and job systems are getting an overhaul: it’ll now be built around skill-based progression, rather than the experience points and level-based progression of

the previous MMORPG. Group play has been de-emphasized to balance out the experience you’ll have whether you’re playing solo or adventuring with other players.

Infinite Space and MadWorld comes Vanquish - a futuristic action shooter that’s sure to fill the gap once you’ve finished Bayonetta.

The game takes place in

the near future and while the world is at odds with itself over the last remaining energy sources, Russia has big plans to use the US-built solar power station that orbits the Earth. They are attempting to destroy

San Francisco with a powerful beam of energy, so the US dispatches forces to take care of the situation. You play as Sam, a member of the US forces, and attempt to save the day in your futuristic battle suit.

It’s been three years since the events of Fallout 3. The

year is 2280. The place is Las Vegas, Nevada, but not as you’re used to seeing it. This is the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout after all. Vegas was not struck directly by a nuclear attack, thus its buildings remain intact and its inhabitants are not as heavily affected by mutation as we’ve seen before in the series. Various factions battle over the city, with the New California Republic, Caesar’s Legion and various New

Vegas factions all vying for control. You play a courier sent to deliver a mysterious package, however you end up in a shallow grave with a bullet in your head. It then becomes your mission to find your would-be assassin and recover the package after a local caregiver nurses you back to health. A reputation system, A.I. companions, a weapon modification system and the obligatory assortment of new weapons and abilities will all make their way

into the game, with new developers Obsidian looking to improve on the already brilliant Fallout 3 experience in many ways. New Vegas is a standalone product and is not a direct sequel to Fallout 3.

Zombies! We love them; you love them. With

Dead Rising 2 upping the maximum zombie-on-screen count to 6000, the best part about this zombie apocalypse is there will be no shortage of undead that are available for butchery.

Dead Rising 2 is set five years after the events at Willamette Mall, however it’s not just mayhem this time round. The story elements

are stronger, with a much larger world to explore.

Players will take on the role of Chuck Greene - motocross racer and all-round bad-ass with a penchant for discovering creative ways to kill zombies, and it’s going to be tough for him to get the daily dose of Zombrex that Chuck’s infected daughter needs to prevent her from turning into one of the undead.

New to the party are combo weapons: super-powerful implements of destruction that deal major damage and increase the PP (DR’s experience points) reward for each kill. Combine lawn mowers with wheelchairs, nails with bats, parasols with leaf blowers and even the good old newspaper and whiskey combo. If it can kill zombies, you should build it.

As the name might imply, F1 2010 is the next title

in the F1 series, following the 2010 Formula 1 season. This next instalment of the series promises to feature “the most complicated weather system ever seen in a racing game.” For example, rainfall will dampen the track according to height, level and surroundings (such as shelter-providing trees), and when the rain clears, a drying line will slowly manifest on the track as racers create it. Failure to adhere to that line could result in spin-outs and other unwanted effects. Races will take place over fairly lengthy periods of time,

and tracks will be “green” in the beginning of a race or race weekend. As racers speed across it, depositing rubber as they go, the tarmac will gain progressively more grip, which should increase the excitement all the more as the finale draws closer.

Players will be able to compete in three, five or seven year seasons, and can choose which team they wish to drive for. As each team has different goals (Ferrari’s, for example, are set rather high), not all events and rankings are graded equally.

This year’s iteration of the Football Manager series

will bring a number of new features. More training options will be available as well as a more complex

talent search system for your chosen team. Each game can be viewed in 3D, with improved graphics enhancing the all-round presentation of the game.

Football agents will make an appearance as well. Night matches and variable weather conditions round off this list of features.

In addition to using the motion controller, players can pair it with a navigation

controller that performs a similar role to the Wii’s nunchuk attachment, although the navigation controller is wireless. This optional extra (players can opt to use the original SIX-AXIS wireless controller instead) features a D-pad, L1 and L2 triggers, X and O buttons, and PS button. The Move system can accommodate a maximum number of four controllers: typically four Move motion controllers or two pairs of motion/navigation controllers.

PlayStation®Move motion controller

Start immersing yourself in the most innovative games ever

created with the PlayStation®Move motion controller.

The PlayStation®Move motion controller is your gateway into a gaming experience like no other. Combining advanced motion sensors, a dynamic colour-changing sphere, vibration function, and an easy to use button interface, the motion controller allows you to inhabit and engage with games in ways you never imagined. Move and play your way through Blu-ray Disc powered HD worlds and enjoy innovative experiences that only PlayStation®Move can deliver.

The wireless PlayStation®Move navigation controller is a must

have for core gamers. This supplementary controller adds directional buttons, an analog stick, and two shoulder buttons into the PlayStation®Move control scheme. Used in PlayStation®Move games that require you to control and steer an in-game character - such as third person shooters – the navigation controller replicates the control features of the left side of the DUALSHOCK®3 wireless controller, making movement through the gaming environment easy, intuitive and enjoyable.

Revolutionise your interactive gaming and online communication experience with the PlayStation®Eye camera. The PlayStation®Eye camera has the ability to reduce background noise and focus on the spoken word for smoother, more accurate speech recognition and transfer. The fast frame rate allows for improved tracking and responsiveness for pristine video quality.

At launch, Move will be available as a starter pack, or you can

buy the motion controller or other accessories stand-alone. Using the Move shooting attachment, with

titles like The Shoot, Time Crysis, Resident Evil 5 and Killzone 3, you’ll be able to clip the Move motion controller into a gun’s barrel to use it in a slightly more realistic fashion.

During the extensive character creation

process, players will be able to choose to side with good or evil, and from there behave as either a hero or a villain. You’ll be able to choose your starting city, including Metropolis and Gotham, which will put you on opposite sides of the same conflict. As an example, you may find yourself either

defending an armoured truck or as part of the gang out to make a quick (but doubtfully easy) buck.

With the rate at which DC has been hogging the Hollywood limelight in recent years, it’d be a shame not to see some of the fantastic actors that have joined its ranks. Thankfully, that won’t be a problem: Firefly’s Jayne (Adam Baldwin) will play as

Superman (as heard in the animated film Superman: Doomsday), alongside Lex Luthor as played by fellow Angel star James Marsters, who will also voice Brainiac. DC Animated’s voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy is also making an appearance, as well as the chart-topping Mark Hamill, who we’ve all come to know as the Joker - most recently from his work in Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Picking up right where Sackboy’s journey left off

at the end of the first game, LittleBigPlanet 2 begins with a giant vacuum cleaner appearing in the skies of LittleBigPlanet, which then proceeds to suck up all of the planet’s inhabitants. Sackboy is rescued from this by Larry Da Vinci, the leader of an organisation known as “The Alliance”, who are dedicated to battling and defeating the giant vacuum cleaner (which is known as The Sucker). Unlike the original, which was marketed primarily as a platformer, LBP 2 is being hailed as a “Platform for Games” and will boast more powerful level-creation tools to hammer home the game’s focus on user-generated content. It’s reported that most of the user-created

levels from the first game (which number in the millions) will be carried over to the sequel in a completely playable and editable form. You’ll no longer be restricted to just platforming levels, with the ability to create (complete with customisable user interface for each creation) racing-themed levels, puzzle-based adventures and even light role-playing games using the powerful editing tools. You’ll even be able to place full-motion cutscenes in your creations.

The long-awaited, much-anticipated Gran Turismo 5

is finally set to grace the PS3s of gamers everywhere this November, and it’s definitely looking to be the ultimate racing simulation for petrol heads everywhere.

For the first time ever, the World Rally Championship, NASCAR and Super GT licenses have been acquired, meaning that you can expect to see in-game recreations of these real-life events.

Online multiplayer for up to 16 players will be available, along with a brand new damage model (so you can now completely wreck your cherished vehicles – unlike previous games in the series).

Night racing will once again be an option in the game, with every track boasting a night-time setting, in addition to fancy new weather effects. Over 20 track locations (with more than 70 variations) and

around 1,000 vehicles will make up the game’s massive roster. One of the tracks that will be available to race around is Dunsfold Park in the UK – better known as the test track for the popular TV show Top Gear. Expect to see a staggering number of the world’s hottest cars, like the Tesla Roadster and the Ferrari 458 Italia. Lamborghini and Bugatti will make their first appearance in the series with GT 5.

With eleven distinct titles in the series, and last

year’s WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 selling over 4 million copies, this is one sports series that’s not to be messed with. From its humble beginnings on the original PlayStation, the series

has grown from strength to strength over the years to give players all of the power, aggression and (mostly) drama from throughout the WWE.

While few details are known at this stage, the next title in this popular series will feature

all of the agony and splendour of the previous title, but will introduce the TLC (Tables, Ladders, and Chairs) match that just screams (sometimes literally) foul play but there’s not a damned thing you can do about it. Making a reappearance from the first

Smackdown vs. Raw title is the ability to hurl chairs at your opponents. With battle mode, an exhibition mode, custom wrestler creation tools and all the other bits and pieces that have been added to the series over time, you can be sure all your favourites will be there.

War is coming to PC. The Horseman of

the Apocalypse has been framed for unleashing the apocalypse too early and has been stripped of his powers and sent to Earth to prove his innocence. Demons, angels and the mutated remnants of humanity roam the Earth, but War is a bringer of the apocalypse and more than

up for the challenge at hand. Released for Xbox 360 and PS3 back in January of this year, Darksiders was met with praise and critical acclaim for its cool mix of God of War-style combat and Legend of Zelda-style exploration/adventuring mechanics. Soon, PC gamers will get to join in on the fun.

Kratos is going handheld! Again! The fifth

instalment in the series takes us back to Kratos’ time as the God of War, expanding on the perpetually angry character’s origins and

revealing the fate of the lost city of Atlantis. This time around, you’ll face legendary bosses like King Midas and the sea monster Scylla. Supposedly the game will feature 25 percent more

gameplay than the previous GoW PSP title, Chains of Olympus. Kratos will have the trademark Blades of Athena once again, in addition to new weapons.

As the battle for virtual football supremacy

continues to heat up, PES 2011 is going all-in to make sure that, at the very least, it has the biggest new features list for this year. A couple of the features to look out for include Total Control, which increases the level of control players have over the ball, especially when it comes to passing, which allows for

more precise and strategic play; shot and stamina gauges mean unlimited sprinting isn’t an option if you’d like your selected player to have any fitness left for controlling the ball accurately. Another great feature is similar to FIFA’s Live Season, which will update player status like fixtures, appearance, clothing and injuries based on their real-life performances.

Set in 1940s Los Angeles, L.A. Noire is a murder

mystery title in which you play as detective Cole Phelps on a number of cases. As you may assume from the title, L.A. Noire draws a lot of influence from the film noir sub genre – black and white visuals; crime, sex and moral ambiguity; and

classy ‘40s cultural elements, especially music.

While the game will have action elements, the biggest focus of will be investigating crimes. This will take place across a number of stages, including clue gathering from the crime scene and interrogation of suspects and

witnesses. To assist in the latter, L.A. Noire will use a dialogue system similar to that of Mass Effect, with a choice of coax, accuse and force to get the player’s point across. Go too heavy on the interviewee, however, and you risk them clamming up for good and withholding possibly vital

information.Rockstar is ensuring that no

corners are cut in delivering a believable experience to the players. The script, which is to be voiced by over 300 actors, spans more than 3,000 pages. The company is also employing advanced facial capture and animation techniques.

Taking place six months after the events of the

first Force Unleashed and a year before Star Wars Episode IV, TFU2 sees Starkiller once again betrayed by his cruel master, Darth Vader, who believes our protagonist to be a clone. So, the unwilling slave escapes from Kamino to avoid execution, kills a bunch of unluckily-positioned Stormtroopers and embarks on a quest to gain an understanding of his identity, and of course to rekindle his love interest. All the while, Darth Vader is plotting to

lure Starkiller back with the help of the ever-resourceful mercenary Boba Fett.

While the bulk of the gameplay elements from the first title will make a return, the story will have a stronger focus on character development, and will supposedly be able to stand on its own without the player

needing to have played the first title. Many interface and control quirks have been addressed by the developers, with special mention of the Force Grip power. You can

expect more powers with which to cripple and destroy your enemies, including Mind Trick and Force Fury, as well as the ability to dual-wield lightsabers.

Those of you who played original X-COM titles

should have fond memories of an isometric, turn-based tactical strategy game that involved you controlling a powerful military organisation charged with the task of saving the world from alien invasion. Then the series went a bit wobbly, and put out a third-person shooter and a space flight simulator. Then all went quiet. Well, now X-COM is back, minus the dash in its title and the bulk of the gameplay elements from the games that started it all.

The new XCOM is an FPS in which you play as FBI agent William Carter, circa 1950. Aliens are still invading the world, but this time you’re

down on the field instead of floating magically above your agents. From what we can tell, 2K Marin is endeavouring to include similar mechanics from the original titles, such as performing research, monitoring radio and radar for incoming aliens and responding to distress calls, but with a distinct focus on action and first-person combat. Most importantly, you need to make sure that your organisation maintains the funding it needs to curb the alien threat.

The latest title from Activision starring your

friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man pulls from four different universes in the Marvel Comics multiverse to craft its story. After an artifact known as the Tablet of Order and Chaos is shattered during a tussle between Spidey and Mysterio, the four pieces it splits into find their way

into four separate universes, wreaking havoc on each of them all the while. Madame Web enlists the aid of four versions of Spider-Man from the four different dimensions: Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man 2099 and Ultimate Spider-Man (who is currently bonded with a symbiote). Each version features their

own unique fighting style. Amazing Spider-Man uses a variety of web-based abilities to overcome the odds. Spider-Man Noir is all sneaky like, watching from the shadows before silently eliminating enemies. Spider-Man 2099 uses his advanced suit and acrobatic ability to get by. His suit is augmented

with talons that give him a melee advantage.

Ultimate Spider-Man exploits his symbiote-infused abilities to overpower enemies with symbiotic tentacles, spikes and the like. Renowned villains will appear in the game, their abilities enhanced by the power of each fragment of the tablet.

Ninja Theory’s (who previously developed

the PS3-exclusive Heavenly Sword) latest title casts players as Monkey, an incredibly acrobatic individual struggling to survive 150 years in the future, in a world where mankind is all but extinct and

deadly machines roam the lands hunting down the few surviving humans. Trip, a technologically adept young woman trying to get home, takes advantage of Monkey during a moment of weakness, placing a strange headband on his head that will crush his skull if he

doesn’t follow Trip’s orders. Thus, the two embark on the journey to return Trip home, using a combination of Monkey’s agility and Trip’s technology to keep them alive along the way.

The long-awaited expansion to the immensely popular

MMORPG World of Warcraft is finally nearing completion after a long period of testing, balancing and patching. Cataclysm sees the world torn asunder; places you thought were safe are no

longer, and entire cities have been reshaped by the destructive force of the escaped dragon Deathwing the Destroyer. New features include an increased level cap (level 85); two new playable races: the Horde Goblins and the Alliance Worgen;

new towns, raids dungeons; approximately 3,000 new quests and the ability to use flying mounts within the reshaped land of Azeroth. Although, without a doubt, you can expect many more changes and additions than the brief list mentioned here.

Fans of the turn-based strategy genre should listen up, because

Civilization has always been at the forefront of the genre. Players will once again build a civilization to stand the test of time, starting off in prehistoric times and gradually

making their way into the future, one turn at a time. Built on an entirely new game engine that utilises hexagonal tiles for its maps instead of the square ones used in previous Civ titles, Civ 5 will feature powerful modding and community tools.

Changes to the formula include more realistic expansion of borders, religion is gone and the combat system is being overhauled.

NEW LOOK CONSOLES

COMING FROM OCTOBER

It’s been four long years since the South African release of the Xbox 360, and now finally Microsoft has

confirmed local support for Xbox LIVE. The service, which is due to launch towards the end of this year, allows

players to connect with their friends for online multiplayer, and access downloadable content like games, demos and trailers. Up until

now, local players have been forced to sign up with either a US or UK account, which created restrictions on what content we were allowed to

access. Rumour has it that there will be a system in place to allow local gamers to transfer across their somewhat illegitimately-acquired accounts, to

keep their gamerscore, purchases and saved games.

You are the controller. That’s Microsoft’s

ideology for Kinect (formerly known as Project Natal), a “controller-free gaming and entertainment experience” that will let you remove your Xbox gamepad from the equation entirely if you so choose. With all the motion-controlled madness that is flooding the gaming world following the Wii’s success, it’s no surprise that Microsoft and Sony (with their own PlayStation Move) are hopping on the bandwagon, each

taking different approaches to this motion-controlled war.

Kinect is essentially a webcam-style peripheral for your Xbox. It’s a horizontal bar that can track your movements, read gestures you make and even recognise your face.

Built into the Kinect device is an RGB camera, depth sensor and multi-array microphone. Full-body motion capture and facial recognition are all possible with Kinect. Kinect will supposedly be capable of tracking and

recognising up to six people simultaneously (although it’ll only accept input from two active players, tracking 20 joints on each player). The tech behind it all is even capable of tracking individual fingers.

The depth sensor, which consists of an infrared sensor combined with a monochrome CMOS sensor, allows Kinect to interpret the world in 3D under any ambient light conditions. The range of the depth sensor is adjustable, with Kinect’s software able to automatically calibrate its depth sensor based on the game you’re playing and your physical environment. If you’ve got tables and chairs around, for example, Kinect will discern this and calibrate accordingly. Kinect has a practical range limit of 3.5 metres.

The device is designed to be placed below your TV. It’s built on a motorized

pivot, which requires more power than can be supplied by the Xbox console’s USB ports. As such, Kinect features an adapter that combines USB communication while providing additional power. The new Xbox 360 S models first unveiled at E3 2010 will feature built-in auxiliary ports to accommodate this adapter, while older Xbox models will require a separate power supply cable to power Kinect (which, thankfully, will ship with the unit).

What this all means for gaming is party games. Lots of them. The technology is undoubtedly exciting though and it’ll be interesting to see what developers can come up with when integrating Kinect support into games not built entirely around the unit. Lionhead Studios, for example, are raising the bar with Milo & Kate, the game built around interacting with a

virtual child using Kinect that was first shown at E3 2009, with the virtual child capable of recognising and identifying real-world items, even commenting on the colour of the shirts journalists at E3 2009 were wearing.

The most interesting thing to bear in mind with Kinect, however, is that while the Wii and PlayStation’s Move (the latter of which uses both a camera and a controller) both use controllers to augment their motion control in some way, Kinect does not and relies on its tech-filled sensor bar to differentiate itself. Whether this will work in Kinect’s favour or not remains to be seen, but as always, it’ll come down to which console’s games use their respective technologies in the most innovative and compelling ways that’ll decide who comes out on top.

From the beginning, you know the end.” Halo:

Reach takes place in the year 2552, shortly before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. Players take the role of Noble 6, badass Spartan and member of an elite supersoldier squad. The human planet of Reach is besieged by the Covenant, and it’s your job to attempt to keep them at bay (fans of the series know how well

that went). Unlike Halo 3, in which players collected single-use equipment like the Bubble Shield that offered temporary offensive or defensive advantages, Reach will see a number of armour abilities enter the Halo universe: reusable and persistent abilities which you can continue to use until you pick a replacement. Examples include jetpacks (jetpacks!), active

camouflage, armour lock (makes players temporarily invulnerable but prevents movement) and the ability to sprint. Multiplayer will now feature loadouts (predefined weapon sets chosen before spawning) and the aforementioned armour abilities. You can also expect all the familiar multiplayer game modes to return, with a few new ones thrown into the playlists as well.

Fable II might’ve veered off the beaten track when it

comes to action RPGs, but its upcoming sequel is going so far off the path that it’s practically a simulation game. It takes place 50 years after the events of Fable II; the world of Albion is under the rule of the tyrant Logan – brother to the hero from Fable II. It is your quest to overthrow this unwanted ruler, seize the

throne for yourself and, from about halfway through the game, rule the land of Albion however you see fit.

The battle of good versus evil will once again be the focal point of the game, with players having the ability to choose how to solve various challenges in either a benevolent or malevolent manner. As was the case from the previous titles,

your actions will determine your appearance and your reputation, but now your weapons and armour will also reflect just how naughty or nice you’ve been: spend too much time slaughtering innocent civilians and your weapon’s blade will literally drip with blood (all the time); kill an army of undead and your axe will take on a bone-like appearance.
