The ProgramBusiness administration is a broad field comprising numerous sectors of the economy. A business degree gives graduates a sound basis for career success in a wide range of areas, including retail, education, government, private business, and corporate settings. Important skills, such as clear communication, decision making and organization, can set the cornerstone for a successful business career and higher salary.

The program prepares students to become leaders in the business world and hold key management positions in business and industry. Each student is counseled and evaluated in the admissions process as to the most appropriate degree program based upon career objectives, plans for future education, and previously earned college credits if applicable.

Students interested in a broader business education may choose to pursue the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, while those wishing to specialize in a particular area can choose the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree. Both are supported by a broad general education program.

Accreditation SUNY Poly business programs are accredited by AACSB International. AACSB International is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business program can earn. Less than 5% of the world’s 13,000 business programs have earned an AACSB Accreditation.

AACSB-accredited schools have the highest quality faculty, relevant and challenging curriculum, and provide educational and career opportunities that are not found at other business schools.
