8:45 AM: We will walk down the outdoor stairs between the Tennis Courts & Taffner Field House and proceed to the Q46 Bus Stop , where we will take the bus to the Queens Boulevard Subway Station in Kew Gardens. Upon arriving there, we will take the F Train/Queens Blvd. Express/6th Avenue Local, changing at 34th Street/Herald Square to the Q Train/Broadway Express. From the Q Train we will then transfer again at 14th Street/Union Square to the 4 Train/Lexington Avenue Express. We will take the 4 Train to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall/Centre Street Stop.

8:30 AM: Arrive in lobby of DAC-Main Floor-We will gather in the common area inside the front doors before leaving.

Brooklyn Bridge Itinerary

We will walk across the Brooklyn Bridge from the Manhattan side, then have lunch at Grimaldi’s Pizza on Front Street in the DUMBO Section of Brooklyn. Afterward, we will walk back across the Bridge & then all students are free to go wherever they wish for the remainder of the day. Students who wish to continue with me can accompany me to the new Freedom Tower and 9-11 Memorial at the World Trade Center.I will distribute MetroCards for this excursion on Sunday morning when we meet in the DAC between 8:30 – 8:45 AM.

10:15 AM: Arrive at Brooklyn Bridge
