Statutory / Legal Status

• Asia-Pacific Entrepreneurship Development Institute is registered under SocietyRegistration Act 1860 with its area of operation all over India.

• The General Body of Asia Pacific EDI comprises experienced and like-mindedmembers from different background such as development sector, teaching,management sector and business. The General Body represents members fromdifferent seven States of India. Out of 11 members, 4 are women. In the ExecutiveCouncil, out of 7 members, 2 are women.

• The Advisory Board of Asia Pacific EDI comprises internationally renowned eminentpersonalities of Development Sector, IITs, IIMs and other leading organizationsfrom Europe, USA and India. The Advisory Board provides direction to Asia PacificEDI so that it can work to fulfil its vision and mission and achieve its goals andobjectives.

• Faculty of Asia Pacific EDI is a group of 20 committed, seasoned and experiencedprofessional trainers, academicians, researchers, project managers andentrepreneurs having diverse background of corporate sector, industry, familybusinesses, management education, social entrepreneurship and social /development sector.

Goals

• To bring excellence in corporate sector by developing programmes of corporateentrepreneurship (intrapreneurship) and addressing the issues of improving leadership,management style, efficiency and productivity.

• To strengthen SMEs and family businesses entrepreneurship through differentprogrammes of leadership, succession planning, life coaching and achievementmotivation.

• To boost the new venture and start-up entrepreneurship environment and motivatepotential entrepreneurs to start their enterprises.

• To create an environment of entrepreneurial education by developing programmes forschool students, management students, management faculty and Directors as well aspromoters of the business schools.

Objectives
