KEEP CALM AND GET TALENT - Madrid
Boarding School DATES: 3rd to 30rd July 7 – 16 years old
Following the success of King’s Got Talent last year, we have streamlined and selected the best of our dynamic Performing Arts programme and repackaged it into a 4 week super summer course!
“Keep Calm and Get Talent!” is an inspirational and innovative summer course for students who want to perform and feature in their very own play in English. It presents a unique opportunity to be coached and directed by our team of professional actors and voice coaches from the UK. King’s believes that through performance and visual art we can foster, encourage and develop the students’ confidence, self-esteem and presentational abilities. Behind the disguise of a talent show we aim to search and discover the creative talents that every student has, embracing and enhancing students’ performing skills and capturing them on camera. Over 4 weeks the students are carefully directed and coached towards their final play presentation and live performance of “Keep Calm and Get Talent” Summer Camp.
Discover the star that is within you. Learn in the magical world of dance, music and performance. It’s time to shine!

DRAMA CLASSES Classes are aimed at building confidence and
developing English language skills. Throughout
the Drama Course students look at improvisation,
devised theatre techniques and drama games.
Within the Performing Arts Course, students take
part in drama, music and dance. All pupils who
participate have the opportunity to perform in a
final production; a play or musical. The
programme includes stage preparation sessions,
sets and props, costumes, and body expression.
During the 4 week course, students learn to work and play together as a team, as well as how to be an inspirational leader. They learn to audition, how to make their first show reel and how to feel comfortable in front of lights and cameras.
ENGLISH CLASSES King’s commit to: creating and maintaining a safe working environment for all students and instructors; providing one professional actor for every 15 students on our courses and monitors; providing a supervising director responsible for overall control and providing the dedication, commitment and experience necessary for all students.
