The South-East European Congress & Exhibition on EE & RE was launched in 2005 as a vehicle to help accelerate the energy efficiency and renewable energy development in the Region. In 2011 the Congress gathered 260 participants from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas for three days of results-oriented discussions and debates on hot topics like Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Financing; EE & Decentralized Energy; RE Electricity & Smart Grid Platform; Waste–to–Energy policy obstacles, latest technologies’ application, etc. The 2012 edition will continue to tackle the financial, regulatory, policy and technological roadblocks to energy efficiency and renewable energy implementation across the SEE Region. It will be an efficient platform for key players on a global scale to generate business in person and get latest industry updates. The excellent solar irradiation indicators on the Balkans and the interest of leading companies in the sector led to the launching of the SEE Solar Exhibition which will be held parallel to the 8 -th edition of the annual SE European Exhibition on EE & RE - 64% of its area in 2011 was covered by companies operating in the solar industry. SEE Solar will present most up-to-date photovoltaic and solar thermal systems and will bring together manufacturers, installers, consultants and investors.
