PLAY ON DISPLAY COHESIVE MATERIALS GRAPHIC LANGUAGE FROM ABOVE NATURAL MATERIALS AND ENVIRONMENTTo reinforce its potential as a destination, the play area will be prominently visible to the towers’ occupants as well as the public below. A central colourful feature will build identity and orient children within the space.
Using a considered material and plant palette, a variety of uses and forms can be linked together in a cohesive spatial identity.
Organizing spaces with consideration for drawing eyes from above, the outdoor daycare will engage even the distant viewer and pique interest from afar.
Plants and natural elements are critical for children’s play and connection to the natural world, in addition to offering a means to provide unique character for the play area.
