Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: Where can I connect to the Internet with Broadband2Go?A: You can connect to the Internet from almost anywhere on the nationwide Sprint 3G network. That

means you can log on from – home, work, at the library, in the airport, at your favorite pizza spot, even outdoors at the park. There is no need to search for a Wi-Fi Hotspot. Broadband2Go uses the Sprint® 3G network reaching more than 272 million people.

Q: What download and upload speeds can I expect using Broadband2Go?A: As long as you’re receiving coverage, average download speeds will be between 600-1400 Kbps,

peaking at 3.1 Mbps and average upload speeds will be between 350-500 Kbps, peaking at 1.8 Mbps.If you have reached the established threshold for your plan, your speeds will be reduced to 256 Kbps or below for the remainder of your monthly cycle. Speeds will be restored once a new plan is purchased.

Q: How can I get the most out of my Broadband2Go service?A: Here are a few tips to maximize your Megabytes:1. Disconnect the Broadband2Go device when not in use.2. Make sure you know which programs on your computer make use of your Internet connection

Frequently Asked Questions — MiFi Mobile HotspotQ: How is the Broadband2Go MiFi device different from a home router?A: Unlike a home router, the MiFi device is wireless and it runs on battery power. That means you can

bring it to wherever you need a Wi-Fi connection.

Q: What is the average battery life of the MiFi 2200?A: On average, the battery will last 4 hours when connected to a single Wi-Fi enabled device, and up to

40 hours in standby mode. It will drain more quickly as you connect to more devices.

Q: Is the MiFi 2200 password protected when in use?A: Yes. By default, your device has a password that must be entered whenever you, or anyone else, tries

to connect to your MiFi device. The default password can be found on the label on the bottom of your MiFi device.

Q: What if I change my password from the default and then forget the new password?A: The MiFi 2200 can be reset by powering on the device (while not plugged into AC power) and

inserting a paperclip into the small hole on the bottom. Hold the paperclip for at least 5 seconds. The LED light will turn off and on twice to indicate a successful reset. The device will reset to the default password printed on the label on the bottom.

Q: Which types of devices will work with the MiFi 2200?A: The MiFi device can work with any Wi-Fi enabled device – laptops, desktops, cameras, music players,

personal media players, and portable game consoles, just to name a few. You can connect up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices to your MiFi at the same time.

Note: Wi-Fi enabled devices must be 802.11b or 802.11g to connect to the MiFi device.

Q: How do I share my MiFi 2200’s Wi-Fi connection?A: To share your Wi-Fi connection with someone, all you have to do is provide your SSID information to

that person. Then, they can select your MiFi 2200 network from the Wi-Fi connection manager on their computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device.

Q: What is the range of the MiFi 2200?A: Your MiFi 2200 will need to be within 33 feet (10 meters) of the Wi-Fi enabled device you want to

connect to.
