Building River Dialogue & Governance Supported by Swiss Development Cooperation Agency

Goal: Poverty alleviation, nature conservation and economic growth

are enhanced in target basins through sustainable management and

governance of transboundary water resources.

Water Diplomacy: negotiation among countries of agreements for cooperation on water management creating changes in water governance

A process that operates under the authority of sovereign national

governments, but also unlocks cooperation among multiple stakeholders,

including at the level of municipalities and provinces within a basin
