5-year plan:A generic module to deal with organic baffles – fluid flow, shear – grain transport/trapping – baffle life/growth – organic movements

Will yield – source/sink budgets/fluxes – patch character – existence / destruction / creation – sensitivities (what if)

Is an opportunity – to develop an OO (object oriented)/agent type of module in CSDMS – test the experience

Also a challenge as an equilibrium system – may need chaos theory concepts (metastable states, attractors, etc)
