Missions to be trained during FAM/FIT phase:
Navigation circuits for the units whose primarily missions are Air-to-Ground.
Air-to-Air combat training missions for the units whose primarily missions are Air-to-Air.
Some of the missions may accommodate AAR training, pre-contact only.
During the FAM/FIT phase, the estimated daily flight rate is 2 sorties / aircraft / day.
During the LIVEX phase, up to 03 daily COMAO may be tasked.
Estimated Flight Time: FAM/FIT - 01:30h; LIVEX - 02:00h
Turnover time – 02:00 hrs.

At least, 01 Mission Commander will be scheduled per country during LIVEX (at each air force’s discretion).
Safety and procedure briefings during all exercise are mandatory to all aircrews, including with CRC.
Alternate missions shall be commented in briefings, whenever scheduled.
Meteorological minimums for the exercise will be:
Take-off and landing – IFR
Operations Area – VFR
The Colour code will be described inside EXOPORD.

Aircraft must operate unarmed.
No simulated guns engagement is allowed during CRUZEX V. Only simulated missile engagements (F1, F2 and F3) are allowed.
Air operations will occur during daytime only.
Aircraft shall maintain IFF ON (MODES 1 and 3/C).
Each Air Unit must provide a briefing to the fire rescue team concerning safety measures applied to its aircraft.

Only operational pilots may participate in the LIVEX flights (no student pilots allowed). Package commander upgrade is permitted.
Only operational Mission Commander may conduct COMAO during LIVEX flights.
Normal working hours will be from 08:00 to 18:00 (local time). It´s possible that some sectors will have to work beyond this limits (early briefings, late planning's, etc.)

Natal AFB lodging will be available just for Brazilian militaries
and for the ICCS Argentinean team (if requested).
Lunch time will be split in three slots.
During the Exercise, all delegations will be responsible in
providing its own transportation between hotel / Natal AFB (BANT)/
hotel and also inside Natal AFB (BANT), excluding operational area.
Brazilian Air Force will provide vehicle for Distinguished
Visitors (DV i.e. Co-Director) and also inside operational area.
BAF will provide transportation support between operational
area and mess hall during the exercise.

Deployed units are responsible for performing launch, recovery, end-of-runway (EOR) duties, towing, inspection and servicing of unit aircraft.
All Air Units room will be provided with a CRUZEX NET computer. International phone calls will be available only in these Rooms (must be reimbursed at the end of exercise).
A basic medical and dental emergency assistance will be offered during the exercise.
Emergency medical assistance will be provided 24 hrs/day. It is strongly recommended that each delegation bring its own
flight surgeon in order to enhance flight safety human factor level.
All delegations must come to CRUZEX V immunized against YELLOW FEVER, at least ten days before deployment.
