Ocena i wycena marki
w kategoriach bezwzgldnych, a raczej powinna by odbierana z uwzgldnieniem konkretnej
Modele oceny
jakociowej marek obejmuj róne mierniki oceny percepcji marki, takie jak: miary stopnia
znajomoci marki (spontanicznej i wspomaganej), wiedzy na temat marki, atrybutów
kojarzonych z mark, ujcia marki w obszarze zainteresowania dokonaniem zakupu, wyboru
marki (decyzji zakupowej), stopnia zadowolenia z zakupu, lojalnoci wzgldem marki, czy
wreszcie skonnoci do polecania marki.
Wycena marki w kategoriach finansowych moe by dokonana w oparciu o róne metody.
zaklasyfikowa ogólnie do dwóch kategorii: strategicznego zarzdzania mark (podejmowanie
decyzji inwestycyjnych, kosztowych, audyt wewntrzny, inne) lub dokonania transakcji
finansowych (fuzje, przejcia, opaty licencyjne).

Brand Asset Valuator (BAV)
The premier advertising agency Young & Rubicam (Y&R) has developed a
multiple criteria method to assess brand equity growth.
The company used its Brand Asset Valuator to assess the brand equity of
450 global brands and more than 8,000 local brands in 24 countries.
Each brand was examined using a 32-item survey that included, in addition
to a set of brand personality scales, four distinct measures:
Differentiation²Measures how distinctive the brand is in the marketplace.
Relevancy²Measures whether a brand has personal relevance for the potential
customer.
Esteem²Measures whether a brand is held in high regard and considered best in its
class. Closely related to perceived quality and the extent to which the brand is growing
in popularity.
Familiarity²Measures the degree to which potential customers understand what a
brand stands for.

Brand differentiation is the core of a successful brand
proposition with a distinctive position in the marketplace
that will promote long-term growth. Y&R defines it as the
power of a brand to express its uniqueness and reach
top-of-mind status with target consumers.
Once consumers are aware of the brand, it needs to be
relevant to their needs, satisfying and exceeding their
expectations. The way that the brand manager is able to
express that relevancy in a language consumers
appreciate will determine its success.
Once consumers understand what the brand can do for
them, they need to aspire to own it, or have esteem for it.
Finally, when the brand has communicated its unique,
relevant and aspirational message, it will be able to
achieve familiarity through repurchase and re-use.
These four measures form the basis of two equations:Differentiation x Relevance = Brand Strength (or vitality)Esteem x Familiarity = Brand Stature

Brand Assets Models (2)by Giep Franzen & Marieke van der Berg
Mental
assets
These are associations that influence consumers¶ behavior
(with a positive link to purchasing behavior ± so called brand
equity drivers)
Successful brands tend to be the ones with simple and clear
mental assets they should tie up with the needs, wishes or
desires o the consumer
This is category encompasses associations that can be
considered features that are typical of specific brand
They consider the core concept crucial for a brand (core
concept tells consumer what a brand stands for)
The closer a brand stays to a category-specific features, the
higher it will be on consumers¶ list of potentail purchases
This is category for all brand-related information in a person¶s
mind
These associations are the end products of learning cycles
These can be cognitive links, affective links, combinations of
cognitions and affections and behavioral

Recognizing Texas Tech and Presenting a
Consistent Identity.
From a marketing and
communication perspective, it is
vitally important that we clearly
position ourselves in the minds of
our audiences so that our unique
claims are evident and supported. Our brand exists solely in the minds
of our audiences. The image and
understanding they have is the
culmination of all their experiences
with Texas Tech, whether as
prospective students and faculty,
sports fans, legislators, academiccolleagues or business
professionals. The following model
provides an illustration of some of
the various contact points that
define and direct our brand identity
and position.

The extended product model
http://www.philscan.com/buildingbrands/didy
ouknow/24_extended_product_m
At the heart of every strong brand is a
product that supports the brand experience.
Without this, nothing else will work.
But too often we focus our attention on thephysical product, when in reality there are
many other aspects of the product to
consider, all of which help shape the brand
experience.
The model below, adapted from work done
by Professor Theodore Levitt, can help to
highlight the many other aspects of the
extended product:
Ask yourself:
Which elements of the extended product
are most important to my brand?
Which elements of the extended product
can I most influence, in the work I do?

Branding & Equity
The key to building brands is combining market
segmentation with an in-depth understanding of
consumers and the brand identity.
Brand identity and brand image are at the core of our
understanding and research of brands, and the
foundation for subsequent segmentation and
positioning.
Brand identity: contains all the richness of the brand,
represents the basic potential for positioning in various
segments,
allows coordinated and controlled communication,
and is also a reflection of the actual world of the brand.
Every brand is also placed within at least one category
of products or services, which function according to
their own rules. For this reason we must have a f irm
understanding of the categories in which the brand
appears.
In the process of segmentation and positioning
brands are placed in a certain segment of the market,
and the marketing web has to be adapted to this
segment. Branding activities have a variable effect on
the market as well as on the brand image, and both of
these effects must be (and are) measurable.

Building brand identity in competitive
markets: a conceptual model
Brand-building effort has to be
aligned with organizational
processes that help deliver the
promises to customers through all
company departments,
intermediaries, suppliers, etc., as
all these play an important role in
the experience customers have
with the brand

Through the developments of stage
one that covered the strategic
brand analysis, now stage two is
the development of the Brand
identity system based on Aaker.D
(1996) marketing model. The
extended core of the brand looks at
the brand from four different
aspects. Understanding the core
identity is essential for fulfilling the
objective of producing a persistentcoherent brand message.

Projecting the right image: using projective
techniques to measure brand image
Research has shown that consumers
very often do not use explicit,
concrete, rational factors to evaluate
products, and thus their motivation to
purchase is not always easy to
articulate. Traditionally, marketers
have used projective techniques inqualitative research groups to
overcome this problem. This method
is not infallible as each moderator
brings his or her own style to
discussions and subjective judgement
to the interpretation of results, and it is
practically impossible to replicate
identically over time. The work
presented in this paper describes the
development of a set of implicit
characteristics for two animation sets
to which respondents will respond
similarly and with consistency,
through which we can identify the
brand image held and consequently
the motivations behind brand choice.

Ukryta cz góry lodowej marki zawiera wszystkie elementy wewntrznego
W literaturze przedmiotu spotyka si rozrónienie pomidzy markami pytkimi,
jestemy zazwyczaj w stanie okreli wiele cech kojarzcych si z mark, tzw.atrybutów marki. W przypadku marek o najsilniej ugruntowanym wizerunku atrybuty
pierwsze, zaufanie - wybieram instytucj, której powierz moje finanse.
zwizany emocjonalnie, np. w przypadku segmentu zamonych klientów do atrybutów
marki budzcych zaufanie i gwarantujcych bezpieczestwo powinien by dodany
atrybut zwizany z prestiem.
