Main Street Challenges…. Main Street is a delightful, walkable downtown….. but it has its challenges:

Auto-oriented buildings in the downtown district, street-facing parking lots, underutilized properties, non-descript building types and lack of walkable retail on west side of Main Street.

Undefined retail district with vacant shops and low residential density

In the north end, a lack of character, large areas of asphalt and underutilized properties
