Tack devices
Picture shows parts from excavator‘s superstructure
Universal tack device
The universal tack device is used for positioning
and clamping of single parts for different
applications (e.g. excavator superstructure ).
The device consists of a stable mounting table
equipped with a screw-on area of
4000 mm x 4800 mm x
560 mm (L x W x H).
For manufacturing works of 9 different sizes, the
mounting table is equipped with 10 electro-
clamps. The clamps are adjustable (via linear
guidance).
The device is used for tacking and welding of
weights for cranes.
It consists of a clamping table
(2,200mm x 2,300mm) that is rotatable by 360°.
The clamping table is equipped with positioning
and clamping elements (the so called
'combi swing clamps') for related purposes.
With help of the combi swing clamps, each single
part is exactly detachable. This makes the
unloading by crane of the complete component
much easier.

Tack device
The device is used for tacking single parts for
various applications.
The single parts are adjusted on the reference
edges and frictional clamped. Axle holes to be
machined mechanically can also be clamped. For
this purpose ready-made holes are provided. This
enables a complete assembly of the work piece.
Once the tacking works are completed, all
clamping elements can be opened for easy
removal of the work piece.

The single parts of a excavator substructure are installed and
positioned in this device. Hydraulic tensioning forces deform the
work piece at its specified size.
Once the tacking is completed, the work piece can be lifted and
rotated by 360°.
The work piece can be stopped at each angularity and therefore
the best working position can be set.
The clamping blocks can be moved apart for crane unloading.

The rotating welding device is used for clamping of aluminium
profiles.
The work piece is adjustable. Welding in different positions is
feasible by rotating the component as required.

On this device spider shafts (as rotors) are fabricated for electric
machines.
The rotor shaft is clamped, the spiders are aligned to the rotor
shaft and pressed hydraulically. In the clamped condition the
spiders and rotor shaft are welded (SAW method).

Welding devices
Mastwelding device
This device is used for the precisely positioning of
mast beams, whereby various mast sizes can be
installed on (automatically). The positioning
accuracy is 0,1 mm. The work procedure incl.
setting takes place hydraulically. The clamping is
made pneumatically. The mastwelding device is
PLC-controlled (S7).
Welding device for steel profiles
This device is used for positioning of steel profiles
for forklifts. The welding takes place
automatically by a robot.

Welding device
This device is used for the precisely positioning
and clamping of materials (plates, etc.) to be
welded.
The device is mounted on a turning unit. In this
way free accessibility in regards to the welding
position is ensured.

The device finds application in the automotive industry. It is
used in robotic welding cells (pre-production areas).
The steel plates by the operator are manually installed, clamped
and finally welded by robot.
The device is designed for different car-bodies incl. the special
feature that both sides (front and rear) can be worked.
The work piece is clamped in turn-over blocks and get servo-
electrically turned until the required welding position is reached.
MINDA is able to provide the full set of equipment for a
prefabrication line: from the provision of materials over the
material handling up to the removal of the finished components.

APPLICATION
Electro-magnetic clamping device for joining of
pre-fabricated Aluminium profiles (flat or barrel) to
roof segments for trains, trams, etc.
The Aluminium profiles are equipped outside the
laser welding cabin and then the device moves
into the cabin on rails, where the automatic laser
welding works are performed.

The device is used for laser welding of roof segments for rail
vehicles. Thereby the outer vehicle contour will be shaped.
The pre-manufactured aluminium profiles are electro-
magnetically and PLC-controlled clamped. Mounting parts are
positioned by pneumatically operated clamping units.
The Aluminium profiles are equipped outside the laser welding
cabin and then the device moves into the cabin on rails, where
the automatic laser welding works are performed.

APPLICATION
Clamping device is used for holding and
automatic welding of sidewalls for vehicles,
trams, etc. The pre-fabricated aluminium profiles
are flat and concave.

The universal clamping device is used to join and clamp
aluminium profiles of sidewalls for trains, trams, etc.
The individual profiles are put into the device, aligned, joined
and finally clamped by pneumatic tensioner and vacuum suction
units. The rear side of the welded sidewalls can also be welded
in this device after mechanic and hydraulic adjustment.

APPLICATION
This device is 40 m long and 2 sidewalls can be
laid in a row. All support frames are movable and
lockable in y-direction over the entire length.
The clamping elements can be completely hinged
below the support plane.
After the lay down of the sidewall the clamping
elements are stacked out from the suspended
position.

With this device transformer sizes between 1,000 mm x 500 mm
x 300 mm and 2,500mm x 2,200 mm x 900 mm (L x W x H) and
with a weight up to 20 t will be tilted.
For assembly and maintenance purposes the transformers are
laid down onto 4 support points, secured with tension belts and
tilted by 90°.
The device is transportable with a crane or forklift (8 t).

Mounting devices
Mounting rack
The mounting rack enables turning (360°) of to be
installed components up to 2 x 35 kg.
A stoppage takes place automatically after 90° in
both directions. The change of the direction is
realized by a foot switch. A quick changing of the
mounting plates is ensured.
Double mounting rack
This rack enables a turning and lifting of 2 x 2
components with a total weight up to 2.4 t.
The rack is equipped with a working place light
and several terminals for electric and compress
air supplies.
The rack is available with 8 mounting surfaces
and intended for 4 series parts.

Movable mounting turning device
For insertion of the components with a lifting
device the holders are tilt by 90° in the vertical
position and for working purposes it will be tilt
back on horizontal position.
While the assembly works the device is anchored
with the foundation by means of remote-
controlled load magnets.
After the assembly works, the components
remain into the device and the same will be
relocated to its place of destination.

APPLICATION
This device is used for holding spring carriers so
that maintenance works can be carried out.
It is designed for different spring carrier sizes.
The spring carriers are fixed at pre-defined
points. The best welding position is reached by a
manually operated angular gear. This happens by
steps of 45° and when the required position is
reached, the locking follows automatically.
APPLICATION
The spring carrier is clamped on this device, for
example for leak test purposes. Then it will be
filled with anti-corrosive oil up to a pressure of 10
bars by means of a hydraulic pump unit.
After the pressure test the oil is pumped out
again. In order to drain the remaining oil, the
spring carrier on the device is tilted around its
longitudinal axis (x-axis) and turned around the z-
axis.
Hereby, the admissible load capacity for the lift
and turn device is 1,000 kg.

With this device awning clothes can be mounted onto 7 m long
winding tubes.
The mostly energy-stealing work will be took-over by a linear
guided clamping claw. By means of a foot switch the operator
determines the feeding speed. The cloth is protected against
tearing by a sliding clutch.
After the feeding the cloth will be rolled up with help of a
compressed air motor.

In this device, headpieces are duplex-pressed into aluminium
profiles. After the pressing, the headpieces are automatically
drilled.
The technical parameters of the press and drill datas are PLC
pre-defined. The operator is able to generate a random number
of data sets.
