Year 6 Farewell at Bonville Big Club on Tuesday 17th December. Parents from Year 5 and 6 interested in decorating the farewell venue to make the Year 6 Farewell that little bit more special please contact Mr Hepi at school ASAP.

Dear Parents and Caregivers, Last week Bonville received a very big surprise. It was two representatives from the Bonville Men’s Shed with a donation of $800. Our school community highly values the support we receive from individual parents and community organisations. The donation will be used to purchase additional resources for the school library. Last Thursday Senior Constable Brooker presented an Anti-Cyber Bullying Workshop to students in Year 5 and 6. The workshop was extremely valuable and informative for all students involved.

On Friday your child received a Parent Evaluation Survey. Please take the time to complete the survey and return it to school before the due date. The surveys will go towards our school improvement plan and your feedback is valued. Each family whose survey is returned will receive a free ice-block for their school children. The ice-blocks will be handed to the children on the day that the survey forms are returned. Congratulations Congratulations Ryan, Callum, Abby and Imogen for a great job representing Bonville school in the Bongil Bongil Public Speaking Competition.

At last week’s assembly we were treated to a truly wonderful performance from every child at Bonville. Our music teacher, Mr Frater, conducted the choir singing, ‘Keep On’. The band played ‘School Band Start-up Number 1’ and the Djembe group performed ‘Rain and Thunder’. Well done to all students. Thank you, Mr Frater, for the fabulous work you have done in such a short time.

Computer Workshop Do you want to know more about Social Media such as Facebook? Are you having difficulty using email, sending attachments or simply using word processing? Bonville PS will be holding a parent workshop on Thursday 21st November from 6pm in the library. If you would like to come along you must inform Trish in the office BEFORE FRIDAY 15th November. Tokens for the School Mini Fair are available for sale NOW from the office. There will be plenty of fun things to do for everyone! GOLF, JAFFA SMASHING, WET SPONGE, LUCKY NUMBERS, PHOTO BOOTH, BBQ, PANCAKES, SPIDERS, WHITE ELEPHANT STALL and more…. Wanted! Items for the White Elephant stall are needed. If you have anything that is not damaged and you have no use for please consider donating it to the school fair. Please no clothing! Library News Overdue notices will again go out this week. Thank you to everyone who has returned their overdue books. This keeps the books in circulation so that everyone can enjoy them.
