• We want to use video as a tool to promote a culture of community service on our college campuses all over the country!
• The best videos from Spring 09 will be shown at the Bonner Film Festival during SLI 2009!

• Videos are Educational and Outreach Tools.
• Can be used to enhance:– Recruitment/PR– Training/Reflection– Issue Awareness
• Videos need to be Quality!• Videos need to be VIEWED!

Bonners will create 2-3 minute short videos highlighting their:
1. Bonner Program
2. Community Partners
3. Training and Enrichment Activities
4. Issues they encounter each day at their service sites

During SLI, all Bonners will come together to celebrate these Videos at the Bonner Film Festival.
At the Festival, awards will be given out selected by the Selection Committee:
• The Best Films in each category.
• The films with the most internet hits (Most Viewed).

1. Tell us who is your Bonner Video Liaison
2. Create Great Videos!
3. Submit a Maximum Three (3) Submissions per Category by (must do both steps below to qualify as a submission):
– Posting Video Links on Bonner Video Project Wiki Page
– Posting Link on at least one other video sharing website (You Tube, Facebook, Vimeo, etc.)

What can I use to make my videos?
• A Flip Cam
• Digital Camera Video Capability
• Borrow a Camera from your Campus A/V Department

• Every person being filmed must be fully aware of what their image is and will be used for.
• Media Releases are required for every person in your films.
• Media Releases should be managed by your BVL or Bonner Coordinator.
• Also, please be sure to check the Privacy Procedures of every agency/location in which you film.
• Sample Media Releases are posted to Serve 2.0 and Bonner Video Project Wiki.
