What another amazing Book Day! The costumes were fantastic and the

‘Jazzy Jars’ very imaginative! The children spent the day completing book

related treasure hunts and puzzles and working across their year group

to discuss front covers with our ‘book talk’ symbols. Thank you to all the

parents who supported their children with their costumes and jars.

Year 5 Residential Year 5 had a brilliant time during their two

days away. On the first afternoon we went on the well renowned Forest Adventure - also known as 'The Mud Walk'. All the children

showed such enthusiasm and energy, completing this with lots of laughter along

the way. It was finished off with jumping into 'The Pool of Life!'

After a 'good' night’s sleep, we headed

outside for more activities. Here we encountered many challenges - heights, encouraging each other and having to be

brave. Every child showed so much reach and resilience and tried their absolute best - even if it was something they hadn’t tried before.

Hindleap Warren staff complimented the

School and said how polite and respectful the children had been - well done everybody. You

were a credit to the School. Mrs Crook

Polite Reminder: Please do not park in the residential parking spaces when dropping off or

picking up your children.

Year 4 Residential Day one for Year 4 saw them achieving the first of the activities - bed making!

They then sailed through the next three hours of climbing, team building games,

obstacle courses, archery and the infamous high-wire pentagon!

In the evening, there was a night walk

through the Forest, followed by hot chocolate and cookies to warm up

before settling down. The next day saw the children completing the activities

that they hadn't done the day before. All the children were a credit to the School
