NEARBY FACILITIES To access the east trailhead, take State Road 39 west from Warm Springs for 3.1 miles. Turn right on State Road 621 and go 1 mile. Make a left on FDR 241 and continue into Hidden Valley. Go across the low water bridge at the Mansion and keep right. Continue on dirt road for 1.2 miles. A toilet facility is located in the parking area before the low water bridge. Parking is available at the Hidden Valley trailhead. This trail is 5.50 miles long and is rated moderate. It is open to foot, bike, or horseback travel. Fishing opportunities abound in this area; numerous trails reach the Jackson River and are popular among all fishermen, especially those going after trout. Fishing in Hidden Valley has a few special regulations, including a special trout license needed part of the year. In this area is the Warwick Interpretive Site, a historical antebellum mansion converted into a Bed and Breakfast. Starting in the scenic recreation area of Hidden Valley, the Bogan Run Trail climbs Back Creek Mountain. Starting on Forest Road 241, it climbs up several hundred feet. Near the top of Back Creek Mountain it crosses Forest Road 121. From there it climbs down to State Road 600 on the other side of the mountain. The trail traverses through a variety of landscapes, including crisp mountain streams, old timber harvest areas, and mature forests.
