The Joint Genomic Center Ltd was founded in 2007 as a joint venture company between Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridski” and the Agricultural Academy. In 2008 the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Ministry of Education and Science and Ministry of Finance supported the establishment of the JGC infrastructure by an initial public granting

technological and business capacities in the field of food, medicine and

cosmetics, both NutraHelix Biotech Pvt Ltd (NutraHelix) and the Joint
