Blue Rock BnB provides a warm, hospitable setting for team meetings, leadership retreats, or group gatherings. Accommodations for groups include lodging (up to 16 persons), breakfast and meeting space.

Team Trainings

Blue Rock offers a refreshing atmosphere for Christian leaders to explore new avenues of ministering grace and truth to bring lasting change and spiritual growth to people in need. Bring your leadership team for a day, overnight, or two night stay. The intimate BnB environment allows you to relax and focus on team building. Dr. Ed Hersh will tailor the teaching and training to your team’s focus and mission.

The training involves transformational healing principles, examining behaviors, responding to God, peacemaking, and practicing principles of healthy relationship. You will be equipped with tools to encourage others in spiritual truth and personal growth; those feeling depressed, anxious, addicted, overwhelmed or stressed due to pressure related to job, finances, or health.

Personal/ Marriage Enrichment

Blue Rock BnB also serves as a safe place for healing and spiritual growth for individuals or couples. Dr. Hersh provides confidential prayer and counseling ministry for pastors, leaders, spouses, or persons in their care.

About the Hosts

Dr. Ed Hersh earned his M.A. in Human Service Counseling from Regent University, and completed a Doctor of Religious Studies program in Conflict Management at Trinity Theological Seminary. Pastor Ed completed advanced level training in techniques for healing of the inner person. His writing, teaching, and training have taken him to other parts of the world. Ed maintains active membership in the Am. Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), Christian Association of Psychological Studies (CAPS), HarvestNet (Ephrata, PA), and Lord's House of Prayer in Lancaster. Besides his innkeeping, pastoral counseling, and training activities at the BnB, Dr. Hersh coordinates the Refuge of Healing and Hope (RHH), a project of Light of Hope CSO. RHH includes churches and ministries working together to integrate medical and spiritual care for those seeking help with addiction or mental health concerns.

Married since 1980, Ed and Stephanie Hersh have raised and home educated four children They are active in various community organizations and local church ministry. They have operated the BnB since 2002.

We are 50 mi. east of Gettysburg, an hour west of Philadelphia, 40 minutes south of Harrisburg, 40 minutes from Hershey, and 2 hours north of DC.Nearby are museums, outlets, malls, theaters, Amish attractions, Sight & Sound Theatre, and much more. About the BnBWith farmland views, we are located at 72 Blue Rock Road and are within walking distance of several restaurants, a grocery store, convenience stores, pharmacy, post office, golf course, and a community park. We are also two blocks from Millersville University of PA.

Built in 1847, this colonial farmhouse contains a bit of the character of each of its previous residents. The rustic decor of the lower level includes barn siding, brick walls and a water pump circa 1900.

Registration is uniquely designed for your needs.Cost is based on the BnB lodging rate, plus a suggested hourly rate of $45. for instructor/ counselor time.
