SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure that the tow-bar is suitable for the vehicle before starting the installation.
For safety, all work involving tow-bar installation (incl. electrical components) must be undertaken by skilled technicians.
Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer’s spares and fitted by qualified staff.
It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to towing assembly.
The tow-ball must be kept clean and lubricated. For added safety, his diameter (50 mm) must be checked at regular intervals. If the tow-ball measures less than 49 mm after selected readings across the diameter, the tow-ball must be replaced with a new one.
After 1000 km of towing, check torque settings for nuts and bolts, in accordance with the table.

• Remove any mastic from contact points and paint with anti-rust paint.
1. Remove bumper (it is made of two parts) according to the following: remove the two covers beneath, remove the lower part of bumper, remove the upper part of bumper (it is fitted to the inner bar) and remove the shock absorber' s bar.
2. Locate item “A” against the rear wall where there are original screws “1” then tighten using original bolts. It is necessary to adapt the heat shield to the tow bar.
3. Tighten all bolts and nuts as per torque settings.4. Connect the wirings to the socket.5. Re-fit the upper part of bumper fitting it also to the tow bar using items “B” on
mounting points “3” and “4”.6. Cut the central cover as showed.7. Re-fit the lower edge of bumper and the two covers.
