SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure that the towbar is suitable for the vehicle before starting the installation.
For safety, all work involving towbar installation (incl. electrical components) must be undertaken by skilled technicians.
Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer’s spares and fitted by qualified staff.
It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to towing assembly.
The tow-ball must be kept clean and lubricated. For added safety, his diameter (50 mm) must be checked at regular intervals. If the tow-ball measures less than 49 mm after selected readings across the diameter, the tow-ball must be replaced with a new one.
After 1000 km of towing, check torque settings for nuts and bolts, in accordance with the table.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Remove all underseals from areas which may come in contact with the towbar assembly and re-coat areas with anti-rust paint. The holes for fixing the towing structure are existing.
1. Raise boot cover, remove rear bumper and discard bumper's bearings. Make a cut in the middle of the lower edge of bumper beam as shown.
2. Locate cross-bar “A” into the rear bumper, mark the four holes “4” on its lower edge and remove temporarily cross-bar “A”.
3. Drill Ø 22mm holes “4” where marked, position again cross-bar “A” into the rear bumper and fix it using the original bolts and nuts. Fix item “E” to the cross bar “A” referring to holes “4” (working from the exterior side of the rear bumper) and insert the spacers D to avoid the crushing of the bumper.
4. Position side arms “B” into chassis rails , referring to holes “1” and fix in position “2” and “3”, insert items “C”, together with large washer “2” from inside the boot.
5. Position the assembled set (rear bumper + cross bar) along the back side of the car referring to holes 1 and fix.
6. Tighten all the bolts and nuts.7. Re-fit spare wheel and boot cover.
