Mathematics- Athiya Leadership Academy

November 5, 2015: MCA students along

Day” organized by Mr. Gustav Wennerblom

celebrations, BMSCE hosted its sixth

international conference in this year. This

conference was designed in collaboration

with the Melton Foundation. The title of this

exclusive conference is SAMAGRA and its

theme "Technology, Sustainability and

Social Innovation". The conference also has

a Springboard Session where the participants

(150 young students / professionals from

Bangalore) were benefited hearing from

Pioneers in the field of Social Innovation and

Sustainability and take that inspiration to

learn from interactive workshops followed

on “Prevention of Injuries by Cracking

Fireworks” a day before the Deepavali

festival. The lecture was delivered by

Dr.Nagarathna Baiely, Ophthalmologist. The

seminar was intended to provide the kind of

precautionary measures to be taken while

igniting fireworks and how improper

methods of cracking fireworks causes

injuries and the ways to prevent the

happening of injuries. It also gave awareness

on the eye care for people aged above 45

application of techniques made by the third

semester Electrical Engineering Students as a

part of the Comprehensive Course "Digital

Electronic Circuits". Fresh ideas, new

applications and continued learning. The

objective of newly introduced course

delivery pattern yielding positive results.

Faculty and Students were eager to learn new



spears of learning. This new delivery pattern

includes self-study component and such

courses embedded with the self study

component are titled as "Comprehensive

Course". This new concept is created,

developed and offered at BMSCE from this

academic year. This also helps students to

acquire several graduate attributes for

becoming a skillful and competent engineer.

Special thanks to all the faculty involved in

the process of the evolution of BMSCE-

Comprehensive Course where higher level of
