Children’s Christmas Eve Musical Rehearsal The next Christmas play practice is this Sunday, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. for children with a speaking part only. Pizza will be provided.
Volunteer Opportunities for Children’s Ministry Thank you to all of those who helped with volunteering in Children's Ministry the last three months. Children's Ministry needs some wonderful people to step up and help our kiddos. If you are a parent please take the time to come help one Sunday, this is an amazing opportunity for you to see what your child is learning and for you to get involved. Volunteer Sign Up sheets will be in the bulletin or contact Lindsey. Please take the time to pray and think about where you feel your heart is calling you to serve.
Changes in Adventure Zone This Sunday! Parents, starting this Sunday, kids aged preschool through 5th grade will start off in the Sanctuary, then head back to the backroom for Adventure Zone at 11:00 a.m. If you have a child that attends the Preschool class, Kids' Connection, and Adventure Zone, please pick your child up after Kids' Connection or Preschool and take him/her with you to the Sanctuary. After the message they will be released to the backroom. Please see Mrs. Lindsey with any questions.

Fill the Bag for Thanksgiving! It's that time again to fill bags with our favorite Thanksgiving foods to provide others with an opportunity to share a meal with their families. A list of suggested items can be found either in the SJA hallway or click here for a printable list. You can drop off nonperishable foods here at SJA this Sunday or next Sunday. Frozen turkeys can be donated but can only be dropped off Nov. 13th. All donations will be given to Arlington Charities.
All Saints Sunday at SJA will be Nov. 20th. Names of saints will be read in worship, and a flower placed on the altar in their honor. If you have lost a loved one during the past 12 months please feel free to share that name for the celebration. Contact the church office at [email protected] or fill in the card located in your Sunday bulletin with the name of the loved one and the service that you attend. The name of your loved one will be read in the service you attend. Please turn the A ll Saints Sunday Name Submission in the offering plate.
Altar Flowers days are available for Nov. & Dec. There are Sundays available for you to sign up for altar flowers. Celebrate a happy occasion or remember a loved one through flowers. The sign up sheet is located in the church office on the bulletin board. Sign up on any day that is blank. $40 is due at time of sign up. Calling All Singers! Rehearsal Begins Today! It's almost time to start preparations for our annual Tasty Tunes & Treats Christmas music night! If you like to sing, join our combined choirs for this fun event. The first rehearsal is today from 6:45 - 7:30 p.m. and will continue to rehearse every Sunday until Dec. 7th. Tasty Tunes & Treats is on Sunday evening, Dec. 11th.
Wednesdays - Time with Pastor Marc Pastor Marc is starting up the Wednesday Bible study on Nov. 9th. There are two opportunities to attend on Wednesdays: 10:30 a.m. or 8:30 p.m. We will study 2nd Corinthians. All are welcome to attend.
Door Codes Have Changed! The new door codes are activated. The old codes you have been using the past three months will no longer work after Nov. 15th. If you are a leader of a small group or committee, please contact Darla at [email protected] or 817-468-8484 to get the new code. If you are a member of a small group or committee, please contact the leader of the group for the new code.
Backpacks for Kids is Back!! Once again SJA is providing food to 50 kids at Amos Elementary who struggle with hunger over the weekend. Please consider supporting this outreach and feeding a child.
