Introduction to Islam (REL 233)As a basic and general introduction to Islam, this course is designed to provide a well rounded overview to those with no prior knowledge of Islam and to enrich the knowledge of those who already have a background in Islam. It covers the essentials of its faith, practices, culture, history, law, Shari’ah, American context, Jihad, extremism, and all kinds of contemporary questions and issues.
