The Fast of Daniel—Day FourBorn of the Holy Spirit and baptism in the Holy Spirit

These are two completely different things. However, the baptism in the Holy Spirit depends on being born of the Spirit. The Fast of Daniel aims to meet two key points:

First, lead those who have a sincere heart to the new birth. That is, being born of the Holy Spirit.

But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, notof blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (the Spirit of God).John 1:12-13

Jesus said: That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6

Second, lead those who have already been born of God to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place... And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…Acts 2:1-4

Those were filled with the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost had already been born of God.

The apostle Paul only had the authority to lay hands and administer the baptism in the Holy Spirit after being certain that those disciples were bornof God. Take a look:

He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is aHoly Spirit.” And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?” So they said, “Into John’s baptism (baptism with water).”

Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come afterhim, that is, on Christ Jesus.” When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, theHoly Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Acts 19:2-6

Can people who live in sin receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit?

Can those who are enslaved by sin receive the Holy Spirit?

No, no and no!

How can Jesus fill someone who lives and loves sin with His Spirit?

That would be a complete contradiction; it’s like saying that a righteous person agrees with an act of injustice.

First, they must die to sin and then repent.

Second, they must call upon the Lord Jesus for their salvation.

These acts of faith will show the person’s willingness and sincerity to the Holy Spirit, who – in turn – will come upon them to perform the miracleof the new birth.

Look at what happened in the past:After the apostle Peter pointed out their sins, the Jews asked him: What shall we do?

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized (in water) in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission (forgiveness) ofsins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:37-38

This means that, first you must repent (new birth), and then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (baptism in the Holy Spirit).

Repentance is not a feeling of remorse.

Repentance is acknowledging your sin and abandoning it immediately. Then, learning to hate it and run away from it.

Again: The Baptism in the Holy Spirit only happens after the new birth.

Can a sincere person be born of the Spirit and right after, receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit?Sure!

Who can possibly stop an act of God?

The baptism of the holy spirit does not just take place, its a process in which a christian first needs to prove his/her commitment in God beforereceiving it.However,Good deeds and righteousness are not the only ways of determining if a person is baptised by the Holy Spirit or not becauseeven hypocrits can act in that way. But as we undergo through the trials and tribulations of this dark world and are able to stand firm on our faiththen we can say we have been baptised by the Holy Spirit

This message will help many people who maybe did the fast before, but were not baptised with the Holy Spirit, end perhaps feels discouraged tojoin us this time. If they were not baptised with the Holy Spirit, it's not because God doesn't love them, or because He has not chosen them. No,absolutely not! It is just because they have not taken the sincere decision of changing their ways before... But if they do it today, oh, I am sure thatthey will also be able to say: What a Day!

Good morning Bishop, very strong message. There is no possibility for God to "share" space inside of a person life. Or the person is from Him orit is not. If we all follow this "instructions", we all will be born of God, baptize with His Holy Spirit and/or be renewed and be empowered byHim. God bless your day.

Its so simple to receive the Holy Spirit. I remember when I used to be anxious & confused because I thought it was a long or hard process. But itsjust repentance, sincerity & faith.I need a renewal & I know for sure that I will definitely not be the same individual after this purpose. I can't afford not to be.

Thank you for clarifying this Bishop. The opportunity for us to experience the new birth and baptism with the Holy Spirit is here in this 21 days.May everyone of us taking part of this fast wholeheartedly and with a sincere heart experience the power of the Spirit of God.

Repentance is always the first step to true conversion, But unfortunately sometimes that may be the easiest part. The most had part of repentance is to seek to correct the wrongs done for example in forgiving those that hurt you or going to ask those you hurt toforgive you. Also giving back what didn't belong to you just as Luke 19:8Zacchaeus did. Those it exposes you to shame, it exposes you greatly to God's grace and out pouring of the Holy Spirit.Be Blessed Bishop and all in ChristMoses.k

Good morning Bishop !!

This is very strong, the bible even says that if the seed does not die, it can not grown to become a tree. The same is us, if we do not die first, and beborn again, how can the Holy Spit come and live in us, and then we have His fruit. We can not change the order. God Bless all !! Ireland in faith !!

what a wonderful way to open the minds of believers who desires the spirit of God and to educate them on the steps that are necessary.Manybelievers normally when told (maybe in the service) to seek the spirit of God they do the contrary and so seek in vain. Others follow the steps inthe moment accurately but after they don't chose to repent completely instead they become remorseful about the situation and so have not receivethe fulfillment of the spirit of God.Thanks God for 21 day of Daniel.

Celebrate the Holidays or Fast?

Many know that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit happened on the day of Pentecost, butmost do not know what this day meant for the Jews.

Pentecost was a feast established by God, but the spirit of religion took over this date, putting aside the spirit of faith. If everyonewho worshiped at this feast was pleasing God, they would have received the Holy Spirit too.

During that time, Jerusalem was full of foreigners, because many traveled to the city to be with their families and others came for the fun of thefestivities. In addition, they celebrated by giving gifts to the widows and the poor (Read Deuteronomy 16:11-12).

However, the 120 disciples who were oblivious to all this, preferred to stay in the Upper Room. Although people might have considered this anoffense, being that they were breaking a tradition, they did not care if they were criticized or persecuted by others. They decided to ignore thetraditional customs and involve themselves in a more sublime purpose: dedicate themselves 100% to God.

None of those who participated in the festivities received the Holy Spirit. Everyone that was in the Upper Room, separated from the religiousfestival, was baptized with the Spirit of God.

Those who were at the festivities felt a momentary "joy" caused by material things: wine, music, profits from trade, tourists, etc… However, theirjoy ended with the feast. The same happens nowadays. However, the 120 were sealed by God the Son, and their lives were never the same again.

Anyone can receive something from a man, for example: inheritance, money, advice, affection, help, etc… But the Holy Spirit is something thatonly God can give us. He is proof that there was a connection with the Creator Himself; it is a sign that the person is on the right path with God.

How can you doubt Him, after receiving Something so wonderful that no man, feast, money or anything else can give you?

Therefore, those who dedicate themselves during the 21 days of the Fast of Daniel at the Cenacles of the Universal Church will receive the Spiritof God.Meanwhile, the world will be celebrating the pagan feast of Christmas.

In faith,Pastor Flávio Nunes

Does Happiness Exist?

Have you ever seen someone chasing the wind? Imagine a bunch of cockroaches runningaround in circles! That’s right. This is the direction in which mankind is heading.

Everyone is frantically searching and putting all of their strength into finding true happiness. The strong trample over the weak in order to take possession of this happiness faster.

The poor majority, allow themselves to be carried away by the winds of ‘luck’. They say, “Who knows, maybe one day my life will change?”They go through life, living from one hopeful dream to the next.

The sick seek happiness in their physical healing. For them, being healthy is the most important thing in their life.Others believe that happiness lies in their professional achievements. For them, money is the foundation of their happiness.

And for those who are lonely or feel frustrated with their love life, their happiness lies in finding their other half. So, they get involved withvarious love affairs as if they were a lottery game. They try their luck at love because they want to be happy.

But they have all, without any exceptions, gotten lost during their search. The more they move around in their search, the more they sink into thequicksand of this world. They even reach the point of questioning whether true happiness actually existences, just like atheists do when they beginquestioning God’s existence.

If happiness does exist, where is it and how do you achieve it?“Who can answer that?”, ask all those who are unhappy...

In order to achieve happiness, you must first take possession of life. The dead don’t have the right to happiness. If someone is spiritually dead andlives in sin, how will they ever achieve true happiness? That’s impossible.

First, they must be resurrected. And for that, you must seek the Author of life.

The Lord Jesus said:"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live." John 11:25.

You must believe with all of your body, soul and spirit. After this unconditional surrender, you will receive life and the right to the happiness you’ve always dreamed of.Those who are humble enough to surrender to Him and fear Him, inherit riches and honor and life. Proverbs 22:4This means that you will find happiness on earth.

The 21 days of the Fast of Daniel is a great opportunity for those who are literally feeling miserable. Beginning this Sunday - 12/11/11 – thosewho want, will reserve the last 21 days of 2011 to separate themselves from all secular information, such as TV, radio, internet, magazines, newspapers, sports, entertainment, that is, a fast of everything audiovisual.

We will be cleaning up our hearts and minds from all the useless baggage this world has to offer. We will only be receiving information thatpertains to the Word of God - the Holy Bible.

Therefore, during this fast, God's Spirit will be poured out according to His promise in Joel 2:13-19.May God, through the Holy Spirit, open up the understanding of all those who believe.

The Fast of Daniel—Day EightThe Special Forces Squad of the Spirit

Have you ever seen how a soldier is trained in the army? Far more than their body, theirmind is trained to control their emotions. This is because they have to be prepared to kill the enemy without mercy if and whenthey go to war. Soldiers are trained to destroy the enemies of their home country.

Still, their training is not the best.

When it comes to a special forces squad, a maximum of five out of a hundred applicants are chosen. Their training is extremely harsh and severe.Their mind is trained to make them almost indifferent to physical pain. Imagine their insensitivity to emotions!

If a soldier is not able to overcome his emotions and weaknesses, how will he confront and defeat the enemy? If he cannot win his own internalbattles, how will he win his external battles?

For me, the philosophy of a special forces squad is not to die fighting, but to win fighting.

The Kingdom of God is no different. All who are born of the Holy Spirit are part of the Special Forces Squad of Heaven. No child of God isweaker than another. They all have the same Godly DNA, the same Spirit, the same power...

Isn’t this what we believe, that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind? 2 Timothy 1.7

Of course, not everyone is willing to risk his life to protect his faith. It was this way in the past, it is this way in the present and will continue to bethis way in the future.

But there are some who stand out. They don’t think twice before sacrificing their lives for what they believe.

Take the Gadites who helped David as an example. The Bible says that they were men of valour, men trained for battle, who could handle shieldand spear, whose faces were like faces of lions, and were as swift as gazelles on the mountains… The least was over a hundred men, and thegreatest was over a thousand. I Chronicles 12:1-14

God did not withhold His power from the faithful in the past, nor does He in the present. He has equipped His children in such a way that theenemies of the cross have no chance of prevailing.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments… 2 Corinthians 10.4

Those who are born of the Spirit of God never lose. What appear to be losses, failures, frustrations and disappointments are nothing more thantraining for the Special Forces Squad of the Spirit of God.

All things work together for their good! All things...

When they win, they rejoice in the victory. Hallelujah!

When they lose they cry, mourn and groan—but only for a while.Later on, they discover that they have gained. And then, it’s all celebration!

Death, demons, hell, the devil and all his children will tremble with rage when they see us happily, joyfully and glowingly facing the hardships oflife.

The children of Cain are dying of envy because of us. Who ordered them not to make the sacrifices of the children of Abel?

LOL!

Win or lose, those who are born of God always win!

The Fast of Daniel—Day ElevenSacrifice for LIFE

People have been aware of sacrifice since ancient times. It began in the Garden of Eden. TheAlmighty had to sacrifice an animal to cover up Adam and Eve’s nakedness, thereby replacing the fig leaves—the devil’s inspiration.

The fig leaves symbolize religion’s intent to cover up the nakedness of sin without sacrifice. In general, even evangelical churches do this. Theyseek to widen the door of the Kingdom of God with a doctrine devoid of sacrifice.

Was there no other way for the Lord to solve the problem of Adam and Eve’s nakedness other than the death of an animal? If there had been, Hewould have taken it.

Was there a way to save humanity without the sacrifice of Jesus? If there had been, He would have done it.

As you can see, sacrifice is not an option. From the very moment you decide to achieve something in life, you are obligated to open your hand andsacrifice.

The character of a thief rejects sacrifice. He prefers to prosper from other people’s sacrifices. Still, without intending to he risks his freedom andeven his life to steal. Isn’t that also sacrifice?A murderer would rather kill than forgive or let his victim go free.A proud person chooses to hold on to his arrogance rather than humbling himself and apologizing.

There is no way out! There is no area of our secular or spiritual lives in which sacrifice does not apply. For a successful career you must be dedicated to your studies; To get a monthly salary, you must work;To maintain a healthy marriage, a couple has to sacrifice for each other; To have an encounter with God, you must sacrifice your flesh; To stay in the faith, you must sacrifice your will;To receive the eternal salvation of your soul, you must sacrifice day after day.Jesus said ... for whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life (sacrifice) for My sake will find it.Matthew 16:25

At sporting events athletes usually make the sign of the cross before entering the field. In other words, they pray to avoid injury and win.

Others turn to witchdoctors and fortune-tellers.

Sacrifices were so necessary and effective that before certain nations went into battle in the past, their priests would even sacrifice children to attractthe favor of their gods.

The history of the people of Israel documents that their sacrifices alone, saved them.Though they made alliances, were the chosen people, had the promises, and above all, had ancestors with accounts of faith, loyalty andcommitment to God, in their time of need they still had to sacrifice to survive.

During a war with the Philistines, Saul felt pressured by circumstances, disobeyed the prophet Samuel and offered sacrifices to keep his army fromdeserting him.I Samuel 13.8-14

He did not have the authority to make those sacrifices. This was the exclusive task of the priests. However, moved by the spirit of fear he rushed toget it done. For this reason God regretted having made him king.

In those days the sacrifices before a battle guaranteed success. Knowing this, the soldiers charged against the enemy absolutely certain oftriumph. They knew the secret to victory was their sacrifices to God.

The devil and his children hate sacrifice. Not even when Jesus says: If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up hiscross, and follow Me (Matthew 16:24), do our “brothers” believe.

If you are not willing to follow this rule, there is no point in accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. The Lord Jesus demands three levels of sacrifice:First: Deny yourself,Second: Take up your cross and,Third: Follow Him.

Which of the three is easiest? None. All of them require sacrifice, sacrifice and more sacrifice. To those who believe, go forward. To those who do not believe, stay behind with the foolish virgins. Matthew 25:1-13

It's so true! And the bigger the sacrivise today the bigger will be the reward tomorrow, in faith and for everything else in life! Defenetly sacrivise isthe EASIEST AND ONLY WAY TO SUCCESS.. Many people don't actually sacrife And try to get some shortcuts cause we humans have to have avisual guarantee that we will have our reward.. And those you sacrivise without "seeing" visually yet the reward but keep goin forward in theirjorney for their goal with action and believe goin aggainst all odds

Thank you Bishop for such an inspiration, now I know why I must sacrifice, may God bless us all.

The Fast of Daniel—Day FourteenThe Kingdom of Heaven is for those who sacrifice

Readers may ask why we insist on talking about sacrifice. It would be easy not to talk about sacrifice. We would not expose ourselves to criticism, the messages would be lighter, we wouldplease both Greeks and Romans and no one would feel offended.

However, because we do not work according to the rules of this world, we are not merchants of the Word, we do not live off the selling of books,we do not run for political office and are not concerned about attracting religious people, we’ve chosen to follow the inspiration of the Spirit ofGod and proclaim the truth that sets people free.

Those who believe, go forward. Those who don’t believe, stay behind with the foolish virgins. The truth is, when sin does not instantly kill, it slowly beats a sinner to death. Many people, Christian and non-Christian, are groaning and don’t know how to get rid of their agony.

The spirit of sin is possessing mankind and leading them to a state of chaos.Although many people know the Gospel, only a few have the courage to put it into practice and dwell within the shelter of God.Most prefer to stick to a message of salvation and avoid the sacrifice of the flesh.

Meanwhile, deceiving and antichristian spirits are free to work, causing relentless suffering in those who believe in God.These recent days are not very different from the days of John the Baptist. In those days, not only did he preach repentance, he led sincere Jews toconfess and abandon their sins. Matthew 3:1-10

Right now, wouldn’t this be God’s will for your life? What’s the point of looking for God’s help in church when you continue to live in adultery, fornication, stealing, lying, etc…

Who do you think you’re fooling? What do you think you’re going to accomplish? How long are you going to keep this spirit of sin inside of you?Sin is a spirit. Whoever says yes to sin, says yes to its spirit.

How can a person get out of this prison?Sacrifice your flesh until it dies of starvation.Obviously! If you sacrifice your flesh, where will the spirit of sin live?

If you want an immediate answer from God, then sacrifice to Him immediately. However, if you do not abandon a life of promiscuity, adultery, lying, stealing, immorality and everything else that pleases the devil, how do you expect the Spirit of God to work in your life?

The Fast of Daniel—Day OneAnd the heavens were opened…

When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit ofGod descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. Matthew 3:16

This is not for the curious or risk takers, nor is it for hypocrites, overly religious or worldly people. The Spirit of God is for those who are empty, poor, and especially, for those who thirst for Divine direction. It is a stepping stone for those whoseek something far beyond anything this world has to offer.

Jesus was sent on a special mission. However, He still had to pay a price. He sacrificed. He renounced His family, youth, love life and friendshipsto accomplish His mission. And if He needed the direction of the Holy Spirit to guide Him, imagine those who wish to do His will and His work!

Most importantly, His mind and heart were already inspired by the Holy Spirit, even before He received Him.The same will happen with all of those who are completely immersed in the faith of the Fast of Daniel.

Do you think that the yearning you have to receive the Holy Spirit came out of nowhere? No! A thousand times, no!This was planted inside of you by the power of the Spirit of God....for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

Therefore, just as the heavens were opened over Jesus, they will also be opened over you to receive the same Spirit of God.

After all, He is the promise of the Lord Jesus to His followers.

Most likely, you will not see a dove descending upon your head, or feel anything out of this world. You won’t probably even speak in tongues. Itdoes not matter. None of that is relevant.

The important thing is: if you renounce this world completely (mental fast), and seek with sincerity, then there is faith. And if there is faith, theheavens are already open over your head.

Also:For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him... 2Chronicles 16:9

Note: Find a secluded place right now. Then, repeat this prayer:

My God and my Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I come into Your presence to seek and receive the promise that says it would cometo pass that the Lord would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh.John the Baptist taught us that it is the Lord Jesus who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I call out to You, my Lord, my Savior and myGod, baptize me RIGHT NOW WITH YOUR SPIRIT!

Amen

HI Bishop, and those in this purpose of the 21 days of the fast of Daniel for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

It is a blessing to have this opportunity for the first time I have ever experienced in my 18 years where this Christmas truly will be about the LordJesus, but rather than celebrating His physical "birthday" it will be the Celebration of His Birth within us. Bishop I have repeated this prayer andas my faith is my assurance I know that, moment was the beginning of a new birth.

Good day BpThis message is a matter of decision taken. During the Daniel Fast, our soul may very well rebel against the dramatic change in our diet.Experiencing and winning this battle over the flesh is often one of the most powerful lessons we get during this journey and receive the One whoNever abandon us even when we at times do stay blessed.

Hi Bishop, this message is definitely for me, and it is so true that what impedes us from receiving the HOLY SPIRIT is our lack of total and uttersincerity, its like in the time of giving offering, according to what we give its what we will receive back! I said this prayer by faith and I believethe windows of heavens are already above me! Amen

Good evening Bishop, it is very true, only the ones who know that need salvation, that need to drink the living waters, that realize that withoutHim they have nothing at all, those ones will find Him and will be baptized with His Holy Spirit. And for the ones who have Him already, ahhhh, they will be greatly renewed. God bless you.

Dear bishop this message is very true indeed and I made the prayer which you wrote and asked us to repeat in a private place, and I believewholeheartedly because it was not a promise made by men but was made by the Allmighty God Himself and I believe in this promise because it iswritten.

Stay bless.

You pointed out something really interesting, something that many of us may not have necessarily known: "...You won’t probably even speak intongues", so we should n ot be preoccupied in speaking in tongues or feeling anything, just believe!!

Sometimes we believe that by speking in tongues whilst seeking God means we are very close to God but if you don't speak in tongues one timewhen you seek the Holy Spirit we should not be discourged.

The Fast of Daniel—Day SevenFrom flesh to spirit

This photo was taken in November of this year during our climb on Sinai

Due to human nature’s hypersensitivity to emotions it is difficult to deny the desires of the flesh.

The conflict between spirit and flesh has claimed lives... even worse, lives lost for all eternity.

How many love relationships have ended in death? …in suicide? How many lives? Why?

Simply because sensitive people yield to the whims of their feelings. They become hostages to the voice of their desperately wicked, deceitfulheart. Its hold is so strong that they do not even stop to reason for a moment. They think that their moments of deep anguish will never end. They think that a lost “love” signals the end of their lives.

But since time is the master of reason, in time they will realise how foolish they were; they were troubled and lost precious time.

While they were melting in tears, the devil couldn’t stop laughing...

Consequently, the great need to have Adam’s nature transformed into a Godly nature, from a living soul to a life-giving spirit, from emotion toreason, from born of the flesh to born of the Spirit.

In this way, Christians will no longer be at a disadvantage in the battle against Satan, or against sin. Because the devil is spirit, he takes advantageof those who live in the flesh. But when Christians are spirit, and even better, when they are spirit and have the DNA of the Holy Spirit, then it’sover for the devil and for all of hell.

There is not even the slightest chance of losing. Those who are born of the Spirit are destined to overcome all things! They overcome the devil, love life problems, addictions, pride, sin and the world. In other words they overcome everything because they are children of God and have Hispower within them.

It is exactly what the apostle Paul teaches:

For whatever is born of God (is spirit) overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 1John 5.4

We cannot hear the voice of our flesh because it speaks all the time with us and if we obey its voice we will end up doing it's will. Instead to giveears to the voice of the flesh lets work the voice of the Spirit because when we hear His voice our behaviors it will please our God and His Spiritwill never leave us.

Bp I agree. It is totally awesome to know that when we are of spirit we can overcome the world & the devil cannot touch us. He can try butbecause we are now 100% in tune with Gods Spirit, there is nothing he can do which would fool us or catch us by surprise. We'd always be readyfor him.

Good afternoon Bishop, very strong message. Our feelings, our emotions lead us to take wrong ways, to have wrong decisions in life that end upin a "road" with no way out. To have the Holy Spirit is to have our life guide by the only One who knows exactly what is the best for us. When weare born of the Spirit we can "hear" His voice when we read His word and He will tell us were to go, when to go and how to go. God bless you.(one day I will see that sky from that Holy Mount)

Bishop, indeed the transformation is so great and the greatest of all is from living soul to become a life-giving spirit. It is more like we are onelevel above problems, criticism, doubts and through all situations that come against us, we are not held back by them; rather we are still able toshow God's glory through such adversities. In the midst of the storm, we find peace and Only those who have been born of God can experiencethat. Not the greatest earthly conquest is worth more than it.

Edir, we as a true followers, need to invest more in our spiritual life, and through the fasting of Daniel we are allowing Godto really embrace us with is spirit, the spirit that brings life IN FULL. Since the first FAST OF DANIEL that I have been blessed, after severalyears in the church it was in the second FAST OF DANIEL that I decided myself to went deep, to take serious, then it was when I received theseal. I SHUTED DOWN THE NATUARL SO THE SPIRITUAL CAN HEAT UP.

The Fast of Daniel—Day SixSeven Spirits

God perfectly understands everyone’s problems. This is why He pours out His Spirit upon all those who seek Him.

The Seven Spirits mentioned in the book of Isaiah do not stand for Seven Holy Spirits. They are attributes that describe the Power of the Spirit ofGod. He lacks nothing and nothing can be added to Him. He is absolutely perfect.

The prophecy: The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit ofknowledge and of the fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:2

Each virtue added to the abundance of the Holy Spirit that would rest upon the physical body of Jesus. He had all the necessary attributes towithstand the attacks of hell during His earthly mission.

In Him would be the Lord, His wisdom, His understanding, His counsel, His might, His knowledge and His fear.

This abundance that was inside of Jesus is exactly what the Holy Spirit continues to do with His children. They also have the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and fear.

This means that there is no human problem beyond the reach of the seven virtues of the Holy Spirit. With the Lord, His wisdom, Hisunderstanding, His counsel, His might, His knowledge and the fear of the Lord, there is a solution to every problem on the face of the Earth.

That includes yours!

It is true that we haven’t all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature ofthe fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery ofmen, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting. Ephesians 4:13-14

But this does not mean that the abundance of the Lord Jesus is not yet within us.

With the richest man in the world, his wealth belongs to his under age children, yet they will only take possession of it when they reach the age ofan adult.

For this reason, the children of God need to mature in faith.

The abundance of the Spirit is within His children and servants. However, not all of them are able to understand such greatness because of theirspiritual childishness. Teaching this to children of the flesh is like casting pearls before swine.

To sum it all up: in the same way that the Abundance of the Holy Spirit lived within Jesus, it also lives within those who are born and sealed of

God.

This is why any and all sacrificial offerings given to receive the Spirit of God are worthless in comparison to the Offering given in return by God.It is God’s all for our worthless offering.

Who can understand this glorious mystery?

When this happens, the word of the LORD of Hosts will be fulfilled, which says: Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Peoples shall yet come, inhabitants of many cities; the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, ‘Let us continue to go and pray before the LORD, and seek theLORD of hosts. I myself will go also.’

Yes, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD

Thus says the LORD of hosts: “In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, ‘Let us gowith you, for we have heard that God is with you'"Zechariah 8:20-23

God is truly great and many of us have not fully understood His greatness thats why we are put down by the smallest problems instead of standingby faith and confess victory over our problems because we have a great God. We need to truly humble ourselves because He has given anopportunity to be stronger in His presence and to be full of His presence. Thanks Bp, I am blessedSouth Africa, Durban

The Fast of Daniel—Day TenDavid’s Mighty Men

King David had close to forty special men. Among these men, thirty were very special andthree were extremely special.

The extremely special men were:

#1 – Josheb-Basshebeth the Tahkemonite was the chief of the three. He raised his spear against eight hundred men and killed them all at once.

#2 – Eleazar the son of Dodo was among the three when they defied the Philistines... He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand wasweary and stuck to the sword...

#3 – Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines gathered together at Lehi, there was a piece of ground full of lentils, and Israelfled from the Philistines. Shammah stood in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the LORD brought about a greatvictory.

Then three of the thirty chief men went down at harvest time and came to David at the cave of Adullam. And the troop of Philistines wasencamped in the valley of Rephaim. So the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, drew water from the well of Bethlehemthat was by the gate, and took it and brought it to David.

Now Abishai the brother of Joab, was chief of another three. He lifted his spear against three hundred men and killed them. He won a nameamong these three. He received much honor from them and became their captain. However, he did not attain to the first three.

Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He killed two heroes of Moab. He also wentdown into a pit and killed a lion on a snowy day. He killed an Egyptian, a man of great stature. The Egyptian had a spear, but Benaiah attackedhim with a staff, wrested the spear from the Egyptian’s hand and killed him with it. He won a name among the first three mighty men. He wasmore honored than the thirty, but he did not attain to the first three. And David appointed him over his guard.2 Samuel 23

The question is: Which of these do you identify with in terms of faith?Or do you not identify with any of them?

Either way, the Spirit of God is seeking men and women with this character of faith to establish His Kingdom in the hearts of those who arehumble and sincere, but who have been trapped in the clutches of the Philistines.

Going to church, being a faithful tither and an offering-giver is just not enough. More is needed, much more.David's brothers were men of war, soldiers in the army of Israel. But what difference did that make when Goliath appeared? Nothing. Theycowered and even criticized David for having the faith to face the giant.

Most believers do the same. Evangelicals, Christians, they are faithful to the Church and their pastor, but at the same time they are weak.

How can the God of Abraham, Isaac, Israel, Moses, Joshua, Jephthah, Gideon, David and many others free the prisoners of satan when He can’tfind anyone willing to give their all… no people that place all their heart in the God of Abraham?

The Spirit of God is not about speaking in tongues, worship and singing.

The Spirit of the Lord anoints with His fullness in order to proclaim freedom to the captives of hell. Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18

This is why most Christians’ lives are worse than many unbelievers’ lives. They believe in God but do not use their faith. They believe in His promises but do not have the faith to challenge Him to fulfill them. Theybelieve in a theory but do not put it into practice. Why?Because deep down, they do not believe. They are wimps!Read, meditate and draw your own conclusions from the following verse:

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him... 2Chronicles 16:9

To those who believe, go forward. To those who do not believe, stay behind with the foolish virgins.Matthew 25:1-13

Good morning bishop

I identifie myself with one of this might men of David. And It's true about the defeated christians, some people on my family are christians, theygo to their churches, and are faithfull to them! But they never move on their lifes, because they don't use their faith! Only saying "God will provideeverithing" It's true He will provide, but the person needs to put her faith in action! Because their faith shows, how much they believe on God.

God bless you more an more bishop.

Jesus said," I've come not to bring peace in this world but a SWORD", Mat 10:34. I don't know about what others think but to me it sounds as achallenge that God is calling for anyone whose up for this challege for there's war going on out here (the world). I pray that the Lord equips memore, gives me a winning strategy. Because it pierces/kills me to lose while I serve undisputed, never failing Almighty God. I'm really eager toknow the winning strategy of those mighty men of Sir David.

Good morning Bishop, this is a very powerfull message because make us think who we have been in God's army. As you say, it is not a questionof been faithfull to material things and things that we can see but a matter of been strong spiritualy speaking in order to do agaist the one who rulesin this world. We cannot put down our spear we have to lear everyday how to manage it better and go forward in this battle. This can only happenbecause the Holy Spirit is the one who strengthens us.

The Fast of Daniel—Day thirteenThe lack of oil

Sadly, many see the altar as a haven of safety rather than a place of constant sacrifice.

At the altar they feel “protected” (from a guilty conscience), that their true spiritual state will not be exposed, as if the altar wouldgive them a lifetime warranty, or free them from temptations so that they no longer have to go through the daily fight for their salvation. A sadmistake!

A few weeks ago an incident happen that I’d like to use as a warning to those who find themselves in a similar situation. After being married forseven years, a pastor’s wife cheated on her husband because she was not born of the Holy Spirit. She had everything. Her husband was dedicated, a friend and a partner, faithful to God and therefore, faithful to his wife. What more could a wifewant from her husband?

But, who knows what made her change her mind. She was moved by a spirit of lust that exercised its control over her, and didn’t think about howthe consequence of sin is physical and/or spiritual death. Her husband immediately allowed her to leave him. With nowhere to go, no way out, she returned to her parent’s house.

Then, filled with regret, she came crying to the wife of the bishop in charge, asking for help. She came looking for support and the assurance that she had lost. She wanted to "borrow oil” from someone she knew would have oil. She waswilling to accept any job and submit to any situation as long as she would be close to her old "haven of safety" – a place that gave her the peaceshe once had, and lost.

This wife wanted to help, but at the same time didn’t want to hinder the work of the Holy Spirit.

So she said to her:"Do you remember the five foolish virgins? That’s right. When the groom returned, their lamps had run out of oil. They ran over to the five wisevirgins and asked to borrow some of their oil. And what was their answer? ‘...we can’t give you the oil from our lamps or we will run out of oiltoo. Go to the market quickly and buy more’. But there was no time and they were left outside."

The bishop's wife concluded by saying: "I can’t take the oil from my lamp and give it to you. Seek while there is time. Make sure you don’t have alamp that’s run out of oil when the groom comes to meet you."

Please understand, God’s actions are not based on emotions. No! In the end, He will not feel "pity" for those who are outside knocking on thedoor.Right now you have time to go and buy more, and be spiritually rich. Or can’t you see that you’re running out of oil? Of course you do!

But why is it that many only notice they need more oil after they’ve already run out – when not even one drop is left? Many have a false sense ofsafety because they are close to the altar.

Spiritual blindness tempts people to think they can play around with sensuality and not run the risk of giving birth to an illegitimate child.James

1:14-15

When we sin we lose the rights that we once had. It’s a waste of time to complain, kick or want to justify ourselves...Only those who submit to Jesus and accept who they are before God, and before men, will receive the POWER TO BECOME children of God.They will receive the Holy Spirit and His anointing.

... except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not foryour incontinency...But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 1 Cor 7:5... whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery... This is indeed very powerful. Thank you for the message Bishop. I must remember not to share my oil with anyone, but guide them to get some oftheir own from God.

Hello Bishop

This is a very strong message. When people dont have the Holy Spirit they go to those who have Him and ask if they can give it to them. But it isnot us who gives the Holy Spirit it is God Himself. So we have to sacrifice in order to receive Him.

God bless!

"borrow oil"; the fact that they wanted to borrow someone's oil, says it all..

They dont want to sacrifice! This reminds me of one the messages i read here and it said; Those who sacrifice, obey. And those who obey, sacrifice and are saved.

The parable of the 10 virgins, is very strong. It doesnt matter how many times you have read it - each time again, it reveals something new to you.

@Danicka EDM -post 8 - Hi friend, I guess you misunderstood a little... We should NEVER give of our oil to anyone, new or old in faith, or wewill run out of it. Our help consists in helping people to seek the oil for themselves. We must sacrifice and strive to reach out to the lost, we showthem where and how to get the oil, not give of our own...

Hi Bishop, this very strong post! thanks you for sharing us, its a heads up for all of us that we must always seek the Holy Spirit s that we will not

The Fast of Daniel—Day ThreeThe Character of God

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give himpower. — Abraham Lincoln

A person’s character relates to his or her moral values, nature and behavior.

Only those who are born of the Holy Spirit truly manifest the character of God, and that is because His children become spiritual beings. John 3.6

Their emotional or fleshly nature is changed into a rational or spiritual nature.

This is why many faithful members of the Church, and overly religious believers are left wondering why they are still unable to live lives thatagree with Christian faith. They behave one way in church and in a completely different way outside. In church they act righteous, polite and seemingly spiritual.

At home, at work, and among their friends they are fleshly, rude and clearly troubled people.

This happens because they have not been born of the Holy Spirit. They do not have God’s nature. They are convinced of the truth, but are not yetconverted to the Lord Jesus. Their character speaks for itself.

Humans are emotional by nature—it all began with Adam and Eve. God created them living beings.

A Godly nature is a spiritual nature, one that originates with Jesus. He was not created by God; He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and thereforea life-!‐giving spirit. I Corinthians 15.45

The same process used by the Holy Spirit in the birth of Jesus has to happen with each one of Jesus’ disciples. Otherwise, they will continue tohave Adam’s nature—and even worse, they will not be considered children of God. John 1.13

This is the amazing role of the Holy Spirit: He causes some to be born of God.And for those who have already been born of God, He comes to stamp them with the Seal of God. This is the baptism that the Lord Jesusperforms.

The first apostles were born of God when Jesus breathed on them. John 20.22

But only on the Day of Pentecost were they baptized with the Holy Spirit. Acts 2.1

As you can see, the purpose of the Holy Spirit is not speaking in tongues, but for you to display the same character as His Son: Jesus.

The Fast of Daniel—Day TwoStrange tongues

When we talk about baptism with the Holy Spirit, the first thing that comes to the mind of abeliever is speaking in tongues.

There’s no thirst for God, there’s no desire to change one’s life, let alone be the temple of the Spirit of God. There’s only a desire to speak intongues.

This “holy” ambition has nothing to do with God. Rather, it is a mere manifestation of vanity fuelled by deceiving spirits. These spirits useemotions to deceive imprudent people, making them feel weird sensations that culminate in their speaking in tongues.

That’s why many people are following the “slain in the spirit” doctrine, walking on their hands and knees like a lion in the zoo.

This and other eccentricities have been happening simply because these people do not have the Spirit of Truth.

Under no circumstances should a person desire to be baptised with the Holy Spirit because he or she wants to speak in tongues. If they speak, justas the Bible says, fine; if they don’t speak, then what? The Spirit of God is not limited to the gift of speaking in tongues. The fact that a persondoes not speak in tongues should not be a reason for doubting, which will end up impeding the Holy Spirit to work.

The baptism with the Holy Spirit is not for a person to speak in tongues, but to enable God’s servants to do His will and to perform His Work.

Besides, how can we discern between good and evil in this corrupt and hypocritical world, filled with deception? How can we know whom to dateand marry according to the will of God?

What career should we choose in order to be more useful in the Kingdom of God?

Which church is of God?

How to distinguish between a false and a true man of God if they both speak or preach His Word?

How to separate the weed from the wheat?

How to identify the voice of God and the voice of the devil?

These and other doubts are cleared up when we are under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Who better than the Holy Spirit to guide His children into all truth?

The Lord Jesus said, … when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. John 16.13

O my God and my Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, guard Your people from the spirits of the antichrist and of deception.Amen.

Hi Bishop.im so gladned by this word. I personally have actually seen many preachers speak in tongues, and later on lie, kiss another's wife withthe same mouth they were using to speak in tongues or even despise someone with words from the same mouth. since i discovered this bishop, ihave made avow never to speak in tongues through the microphone. its been a personal decision which i value with integrity.lets fight to producethe HOLY fruit from the SPIRIT of GOD

Good evening Bp I believe that one cannot desire to have the Master's possession (tongues) without having the Master Himself (Jesus) becausepossessions limit you you only use on certain occasions but having the Master Himself you can use Him at all occasions. Speaking in tongues willbe added once one is sealed by the Holy Spirit not in a whimsy way stay blessed

Hi Bishop,As You Said It Is Very True About Us Wanting To Speak In Other Language (Tongues)Unfortunately That Is Some Peoples DesireRather Than To Have God Inside Them,I"ve Seen Cases Or Videos Of People Who Claimed They Where Speaking With Tongues And JumpingAround When It Was Actually A Deceiving spirit Inside Them.My Desire Is To Have God Himself Inside Me And For Sure I Know The RestWill Be Added.God Bless You Bishop Have A Great Day.

Yes I agree 100% Bishop in what you said that the baptism with the Holy Spirit is not for a person to speak in tongues, but to enable God’sservants to do His will and to perform His Work. And I will make this fasting to be my opportunity to grow in my Spiritual because I don't acceptto be on the same level in my spiritual life.

This is one of the greatest anxieties I had which impeded me from being baptised with the Spirit of God. Instead of giving my all in that momentand believing in God's promise, I allowed my baptism to be determined by whether or not I had spoken in tongues. It was only when I overcomethat battle that I was able to seek the Holy Spirit as I ought with sincerity, and hence was baptised.

Hello Bishop, a Good day to you!

The main concern in a person who is thirsty for the Holy Spirit is to recieve Him, to find Him to be saved and in that moment if we are to worriedabout other things then our mind will be divided it just wont work!

we have to seek God with all our mind, heart and soul the rest will be added!

What a dayyyy

I agree Bp,Many people especialy with the VYG from what I have seen get so excited at the thought of speaking in tongues and being filled so that they canbecome assistants that they close their eyes to the negativity just waiting to decieve them. Sincerity is a must, forget about what you have heard ofpeoples experiences and seek your own, you may feel nothing but have a total assureance and faith in the Word that you will recieve Our Godwants to enter so let us clear out our house (heart)

The King and his 4 Wives

There once was a king who had four wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with beautiful gifts, jewelry and expensive clothes. He gave her nothing but thebest.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much and enjoyed showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he was afraid that one day she would leave him for another king.

He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the king had a problem, he would confide in her and shewould help him get through difficult times.

The 1st wife was a very loyal partner and did everything in her power to maintain his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the 1st wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.

One day, the King fell ill and he knew his end was near.He thought about his luxurious life and wondered:

- Now I have 4 wives with me, but when I die, how many will go with me?

So he asked the 4th wife:- I have loved you the most, my dear. I have endowed you with the finest clothing and jewelry. I have taken good care of you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?

- No way! - replied the 4th wife, as she left the room without looking back.

Her answer cut like a sharp knife right through his heart. The sad king then asked the 3rd wife:

- I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?- No!!! - replied the 3rd wife. Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to get remarried.

His heart sank and turned cold from hearing such painful words. He then asked the 2nd wife:

- I have always turned to you for help and you’ve always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?

- I’m sorry, but I can’t help you out this time - replied the 2nd wife. The most I can do is bury you!

Her answer struck him like a bolt of lightning and once again, the king was devastated.

Then a voice called out:- I’ll go with you. I will follow you wherever you go...The king looked up and there was his 1st wife. She was very thin, malnourished, and suffering from neglect...

Greatly grieved, the King said:- I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance...

In truth, we all have these 4 wives in our lives...

Our 4th wife is our body.No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it healthy and beautiful, it will leave us when we die.

Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others.

Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by our side is up to the grave.

And our 1st wife is our Soul.It is often neglected in the pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures to fulfill our Ego.However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go, no matter where it is...

Therefore,Cultivate...Strengthen...Bless...Cherish your soul!

It is the greatest gift we can give those around us and ourselves.Let it shine through the forgiveness that God gives us in the Lord Jesus!May your relationship with your soul be righteous during the 21 day Fast.
