Thank You Catholic FoundationThe Catholic Foundation is pleased to award $10,000.00 towards Blessed Sacrament Corona Virus Emergency Response project. The Catholic Foundation is blessed by the support of our Catholic community, and it is through their generosity that this grant is possible. By connecting the financial gifts of our donors with organizations like Blessed Sacrament Church, they can help strengthen and build the ministry of Jesus on this Earth, especially during these turbulent times. Thanks to the Catholic Foundation for their help and support!
This weekend, we take up the Collection for the Church in Latin America! Many people in Latin America and the Caribbean do not have access to church programs and ministries because of a rising secular culture, difficult rural terrain, and a shortage of ministers. Your generosity makes it possible for our brothers and sisters in Latin America and the Caribbean to share in the life of the Church and grow closer to Christ. Drop your envelope in the first collection basket and please be generous to the special collection! To learn more, visit www.usccb.org/latin-america.
Congratulations Second GradersCongratulations to our second graders as they receive their First Holy Communion at a daily or weekend Mass. Congratulations to Emily Noguera Cervantes and Yoselyn Rivera who will receive their First Holy Communion next weekend. We will continue to acknowledge our second graders as they receive their sacraments.

Bishop’s Annual Appeal“Living the Joy of the Gospel,”
Our parish BAA goal is $64,999.37 and so far we have received pledges in the amount of $19,516.00. Thank you for your generosity! We encourage everyone to participate in the Bishop’s Annual Appeal and please remember that no gift is too small. The theme of this years’ Appeal, “Living the Joy of the Gospel,” inspires us, as people of faith, to share joyfully the Good News of Christ to those who most need to feel His love as we continue His work on earth as faithful disciples. The appeal makes possible the many good works facilitated by our many diocesan offices. Together, we can bring hope that change lives. Please drop your completed BAA envelope in the weekend collection baskets, mail them back to our church or drop the envelope in the mail slot at the parish office.
CongratulationsCongratulations to parishioners, Tanner Ernest & Megan Mansfield, who were joined in Holy Matrimony, on Saturday, July 18th at Walsh University Chapel.

18th Sunday in Ordinary Time
“Jesus said to them, ‘There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves’.”
– Matthew 14:16
This is what Jesus said right before he fed the five thousand men. How often do we really place our trust in Jesus when the situation looks grim? With Jesus, no gift is too small or insignificant when offered with love. But, we have to do our part. We should trust that Jesus will provide all that we need. We need to believe that Jesus has a better plan in store for us.
Learn how you can share your gifts by supporting your parish and contact The Catholic Foundation. Visit www.catholic-foundation.org/development for more information.
