Blackjack Rules

The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealers cards,

without exceeding 21. In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and nubercards at their face !alue.

If you recei!e an ace and a ten"!alue card as your first two cards, you ha!e Blackjack and win1.# ties your bet $if your bet was %10, you recei!e %2#&. If the total !alue of your cards is closerto 21 than the dealers, you win your bet aount $if your bet was %10, you recei!e %20&. If thetotal of your cards is ore than 21, you 'bust( and lose your bet. If you and the dealer ha!e thesae card total $1) and u*& neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a '*ush(.Blackjack beats a score of 21.

fter each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.

The *layer ay not s*lit a s*lit hand.

+nly one card is drawn to s*lit aces.

The *layer ay double after s*litting.

The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case.

If the *layer doubles and the dealers first card is of !alue 11 $3&, and the dealer gets

Blackjack, the *layer loses both his bets. If the dealers first card is of !alue 10, and thedealer gets Blackjack, the *layer gets the 4ouble bet back.

Split

If your first two cards ha!e the sae !alue, you ay s*lit the into two se*arate hands by*lacing a second bet e5ual to the original bet. 6ou will then draw additional cards to each hand.6ou ay draw as any cards as you like on each s*lit hand, but if you s*lit two aces, yourecei!e only one additional card for each ace. If you recei!e an ace and a ten"!alue card in a s*lithand, it is considered 21 and not Blackjack.

Double

If, after you are dealt your first two cards, you think that the third card will allow you to beat thedealers hand, you can double your bet. The bet aount becoes twice the original $with thedifference taken out of your balance&, and you are dealt one ore card.

Insurance

If the dealer shows an ce in his initial hand, you are gi!en a chance to insure your bet againsthi ha!ing a Blackjack. If you get Insurance, an aount e5ual to half your original bet is *lacedse*arately on the table. If the dealer does ha!e Blackjack, you are *aid 2 to 1 on your insurance.

This way you do not lose your original bet $because you get the 2x half your original bet, *lusthe insurance aount back&. If the dealer does not ha!e Blackjack, you lose the insuranceaount, e!en if you end u* losing.

10 Card Charlie

It is theoretically *ossible for the *layer to draw 10 cards without going bust. In this case the*layers hand autoatically wins, exce*t when the dealer has Blackjack.
