Guest Lecture ON E-CARS Siemens PLM software’s digital manufacturing solutions for automotive quality helps us increase competitiveness by carefully monitoring the quality of products and processes.

Automotive quality control starts well before the actual production of vehicles in the assembly lines. Quality has always been an integral part of the design and manufacturing process planning steps of any new program. Automakers have to make sure that manufacturing processes conform to the design intent by ensuring that dimensional and tolerance specifications are achievable before starting production.

In light of the above a technical talk was organized for diploma and engineering students on the topic “Green Cars” on 23rd of March 2017 at the college auditorium. This lecture was the first one of the series of technical talks to follow in the days to come.

Mr. David Almer, Mrs Huma George and Mr. Moiz Parekh from Siemens were the dignitaries present during the technical talk.

Mr. David is currently working as a Systems Simulation Manager at Siemens Industry Software, Belgium. Mr. David’s session highlighted the concept of simulation and a demonstration of the varied applications using Siemens PLM. The entire session was fruitful and encouraging for all the students and our fellow faculty and staff members. With the student version being offered, our students would be motivated and charged up to shape their career in a better and a focused way.
