VIGYANIKAInternational Science Literature Festival 2019
As a part of IISF 2019, VIGYANIKA — International Science Literature Festival is being organised at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre from 5-7 November 2019, which aims to showcase India’s efforts in science promotion through communication for transforming India. It’s a platform to increase awareness about science, technology and innovation in the society and to reach out to the next generation.
The major attractions of VIGYANIKA is, Vigyan Manthan (Panel discussions), Vigyan Spandan (Scientific paper presentations, Science writing workshops, Scientoon & Debate competition, Storytelling), Vigyan Manchan (Vigyan Kavi Sammelan, Science drama, Folk art), and Vigyan Prakashan (Book fair, Book release, Meet the author).
PARTICIPATIONScience writers, scientists, communicators, artists, journalists, young and budding authors, researchers, college students, children, other science enthusiasts, science policymakers and citizens–all are welcome.
REGISTRATIONFor online registration, visit www.scienceindiafest.org. You can participate in multiple events of VIGYANIKA. Selected participants will be informed through email. All those who wish to attend all sessions may register as Attendee at event website. Book fair is open to all.
CALL FOR ABSTRACT PAPER PRESENTATION Candidates interested in Scientific Paper Presentation
on the theme “Science Communication: Innovative Approaches” are invited to upload a brief CV and abstract of their papers (200 words in .doc or .pdf format) latest by 25 September, 2019.
You can submit the abstract through email at [email protected], [email protected] & [email protected]. For selected abstracts, participants will be informed through e-mail. Selected candidates need to submit complete paper (within 2,500 word) latest by 5 October, 2019. For more details please visit www.scienceindiafest.org.
