The month of April started strong with 5 names and phone numbers from St. Ursula's membership weekend on April 2 and 3. We, then had a 1st Degree on April 4 at the hall. Patrick Cullen took his 1st Degree that night and then took his 2nd Degree at Notre Dame Council on April 19. He is presently scheduled to take his 3rd Degree at Patapsco Council on June 3. Unfortunately Danny Rosner still has health problems, please pray for him. On April 23 and 24, there will be a membership drive at St. Isaac Jogues, the results next month. Membership continues to move forward. May is the month dedicated to the Blessed Mother. We have the Living Rosary on May 2 at 7:30 P.M. with Joseph Pfeifer. It is open to everyone. The weekend of May 6, 7, and 8 we are giving out marigolds to three parishes. Also we are running the Big Six Wheel at St. Clare's Carnival in Essex on May 12, 6 to 10 P.M. Your presence and your help especially with the marigolds will always be appreciated. Remember carrying a form 100 or the 921A card helps in our endeavor. My phone is waiting for your responses.

Program Director’s Report - Steve Radziminski 410–663-6107

Thanks to Brothers Andy Cook and Michael Colbourne for their efforts in presenting the film on Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney and the formation of the Knights of Columbus. Thank you to all who brought dessert items. This film is very inspirational, and the Council is considering purchasing a copy. If you get a chance, I urge to view the

film.

Congratulations to Brother Roy Gary and his team for a successful “Food for Families” event. His report is included in his article

about Community Activities.

As you can see, we as a council have so much to offer in the way of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity, and we need you to become involved. Look throughout this newsletter,

Community Activities - Roy C. Gary 410-665-9563

The Food For Families drive conducted April 16, 2016 raised 382 food items donated and $44.00 cash raised for the St Isaac Jogues food pantry. The St Sebastian Council sponsored the event that was attended by brothers Michael Mank, Joseph Keller, Jose Guzman, David Snyder, and Roy Gary. The first donation was almost a full basket of groceries collected by Brother Knight Bernie Schmidt from his neighbors. The donations continued to come in the entire day, with many thanks from the contributors. The food items were delivered to St Isaac Jogues food pantry. We received many thanks from the ladies receiving the donations for the food pantry. We will be sending a check for the cash donations shortly.

Council Activities - Steve Radziminski 410–663-6107
