Biosafe

A new generation of treatment plants fortreating domestic sewage waste in acompact system of three separate stageswithin a ‘unitank’ design. The fluidisedfixed-film biozone process provides anextremely robust means of reducingammoniacal nitrogen.

Raw sewage entering the unit flows intothe primary settlement zone. Gross solidssettle to the bottom. The residual effluent(supernatant liquor) is displaced from theprimary stage into the two-stage biozone.

Flow circulation in the biozone is generatedby the effect of a fine bubble system.During several passes through the beds,the supernatant liquor is purified bynaturally occurring micro organisms(biomass) that grow on the media.The liquid displaced to the outlet istreated, and known as final effluent.
