    The supported identifiers are fingerprints,contactless proximity cards, PIN-codesand various combinations of the saidparameters to target various enterpriseneeds (fingerprint + card, fingerprint +PIN, etc.). Thus, the device is universaland can be used to build highly securedcontrol systems, easily accessible byauthorized persons and non-accessibleby malicious users.

    The terminal is equipped with a display,keypad, buzzer and LEDs thus providinguser-friendliness and convenience. Usersare promptly notified on the identificationresult through signal and color indicationand messages displayed on the screen.

    Operation Modes

    The terminal operates in the following modes:

    Network comparison of the produced fingerprint with its digital templatestored on the identification server; in this mode the number of theFingerPass users is unlimited;

    Local (standalone) comparing the produced fingerprint with its digitaltemplate stored in the device internal memory; when operating in the localmode, FingerPass IC can store up to 500 users (two fingerprints for eachuser);

    Combined combination of the network and local modes. Operation inthe above modes provides for the device fault-tolerance, meaning that inthe event of LAN failure or temporary unavailability of the biometric serverFingerPass remains functioning.
