Solana’s Billing software ensures that your clients are receiving the right service at the right rate, and that services are never denied due to an overlooked funding source.

Billing starts with recording hours and units of service for three main purposes:

1. Providing data needed to bill the right source according to the right rule.

2. Transferring hours and units to payroll to pay wages and reimburse mileage

3. Comparing actual services provided to contractual obligations to determine over under utilization.

Then, Solana’s Billing software generates reports to help you to stop leaving money on the table from unbilled or unprovided services for which funding is available.

ISOLATE FUNDING DEFICIENCIESThe Review Billing Contract Utilization reports compare what your agency can bill versus what has

already been billed. It examines every service type by client, identifying situations where services have been over/under provided.

MAXIMIZE CONTRACTED SERVICESThe Service Budget Utilization report compares the client’s individual service plan (ISP) to the actual service provided on a weekly basis for all service types (even ratios like 1:1, 1:2, etc.) to identify problem areas.

IMPROVE CASH FLOWThe standard Outstanding Bills and Receivables Aging reports let you stay on top of billing receivables. Review Contract reports identify clients who do not have active contracts or have contracts coming due. This allows you to accrue unbilled revenue to determine the complete revenue picture and recognize billing in the appropriate month.

TIME TRACKING INTEGRATIONWhen integrated with Solana’s Time Tracking software, most common data-entry errors are caught, corrected, and eliminated before they even get to the Billing software. And, you can use system-generated, retroactive billing for service limit changes, rate changes, and late time slips on previously submitted bills.

In addition, you can use online reconciliation to reconcile your payments to billing claims. Once begun, you can postpone a reconciliation and restart the process where you left off. You can also mark denied claims for resubmission to the funding source or write them off altogether without re-entering any data. Bill per diem, hourly, ½ hour, ¼ hour, and units (transportation, residential, day habilitation, etc.) to the appropriate funding source.

OTHER INTEGRATIONSSolana’s Billing software also integrates with Client Care, Day Services, General Ledger, and Payroll. Client Care houses client-related data and supplies the list of individuals to the Billing software. Payroll supplies a list of billable employees to Billing and processes service hours by employee for payroll purposes. General Ledger then stores all money transactions, billings, cash receipts, and other financial data. Day Services transfers data from day supports to Billing to seamlessly bill funding sources for those provided services.
