Lead all the substantive and administrative aspects of planning and implementing rule of law reform related activities implemented by CSOs reciepeients that inculcate a culture of respect for rule of law among the Palestinian general public. This includes; 1. Responsibility for overall technical, managerial and strategic direction of the respect for rule of law cultural development component. 2. Producing annual work plans with respect to the respect for rule of law cultural development component in cooperation with team members 3. Monitoring execution of the respect for rule of law cultural development work plan activities, ensuring consensus on project objectives and results, that activities are performed to a high professional standard, and that objectives are met and results are achieved through both local and short-term expatriate staff. 4. Motivating the respect for rule of law cultural development staff to perform effectively toward project results through communication, team-building incentives, regular staff meetings, and responsiveness Main Accomplishments of the (RoLCD) Component: 1. A theater play calling for respect for rule of law and order among school children and their families developed. The play was performed in more than 22 locations and reached out more than 3500 children. 2. Two facilitator manuals to increase respect for rule of law among schoolchildren and youth respectively developed. I trained 35 trainers to use the manuals in after school programs and reached more than 1500 children and youth in the Palestine. 3. A Policy Paper on the Role of Palestinian Civil Society in Civil Peace in the West Banka and Gaza developed.

A local Assistant of the First Secretary for Refugee Affairs Office at the US Embassy in Jordan between 2001-2005; The portfolio of the refugees office to grant, monitor and evaluate all US funds to UNRWA, core funds of 80-90 million dollars a year and projects fund of 4-6 million USD a year. About one third of the core funds of US money was to Social Relief Departments of UNRWA five fields, Jordan, West Bank , Gaza, Syria and Lebanon. I was involved, along with the First Secretary or alone representing the USG, in most of the Donor’s Review and Coordination Meetings and UNRWA-Donors meeting related in particular UNRWA needs emergency appeal and emergency programming. The need for cash assistance and in kind assistance (food aid) was a major program that was a concern for the donors and in particular EU and USG. Served also as a project manager where I daily managed UNRWA grants received from US Department of State. Two of the important programs I managed were: Human Rights and Conflict Resolution (Tolerance Program) and the income generation projects for UNRWA youth, women and rehabilitation enters. Program Coordinator Program.. East Jerusalem. EU block grant. Assisted in establishing the program and managed it for eighteen months. My responsibility was to comply to EU logical framework compliance in grants management. The program targeted funding and capacity building for NGOs in Jerusalem, the Palestine to promote citizen rights and participation, rule of law awareness, building active Palestinian civil society institutions and supporting the integration between community development, democracy and respect of human rights. Helped the recipients in project proposal development and strategic planning to comply with the EU standards.

Human Rights Education Campaign Coordinator. Joint Project of Amnesty International- Local Palestinian Groups, al-Haq and Palestine Human Rights Information Center (PHRIC). Jerusalem. The project was funded by the EU and Norway. I was responsible for the program design, project implementation, progress follow up, monitoring and evaluation reporting to Brussels and Norway. Established the project and managed it for two years, supervised two full time and two part time staff members and coordinated the work of fifty volunteers. Managed developing human education curriculum for grades 1-6 and trained new members of Amnesty on Human Rights principles and education.
