The ProducerMiss Velocity started producing music when she was 15 years old. Now at the age of 25 that passion is as fired up as ever. With more then 10 years of practice and after a Bachelor of Recording Arts Degree, she has her sights set high.

When you listen to her tracks you find that her style is not restricted to one sound or genre. From a few different styles of Drum and Bass to really cinematic Chill-out and House, her boundaries will always be pushed and rewritten.

New DirectionsLately she has been working on remixes as this really inspires a different approach to her production. Instead of being restricted by the original works of art and concepts, she uses what she feels are the best bits to create a completely new take on the original vibe. Working with people such as Mr. Left Eye and the band Anima POP, Miss Velocity thrives in their originality and musical endeavours.

Miss Velocity is currently working on a few projects and can't wait for you all to experience the pleasure of letting the basses and melodic sounds sink into your bodies and travel through your bones. An uplifting collaboration of mixes from a selection of passionate music that offers nourishment for the musical soul is what Velocity plans to bring to the clubs and airwaves, a unique experience that will be the pleasure of any club that likes her style of music. Q Strings has established a reputation as a dynamic and versatile group working with a variety of artists from Harrison Birtwhistle at the Dartington International Summer School to singer/songwriter Gilbert O’Sullivan on the main stage at Glastonbury.

Raised in musical families the group’s background is firmly rooted in classical

music with additional influences in pop, theatre, opera and composition.

Whilst studying at the Royal Academy of Music with members of the Alberni String Quartet, sisters Laura, Eleanor and Amy Stanford established the group with cellist Jessica Cox, winning the John B McEwan quartet prize and receiving awards in the Sir

Arthur Bliss and the Wigmore Hall competition.

With an interest in British repertoire, the quartet entered the professional world as the resident ensemble for the Purbeck String Festival, opening newly commissioned works by Sally Beamish and Mike Westbrook as well as giving recitals, master classes and coaching.

Sara is a versatile and energetic drummer who’s worked with Ebony Bones and Maya Von Doll Sara’s prepairing fo an album promo tour for Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud. Sara has also drummed in the MTV award winning music video “Dog Days Are Over” By Florence + The Machine
