1. Products information, providing their identification

The certificate of conformity applies to electric actuators for valves of the ICON3000 series of sizes 010, 020, 030, 040, 050, of designs ICON3000, ICON3000L, ICON3000R, ICON3000D, ICON3000DR, ICON3000LR, ICON3000LP, UCS, ELGA, WGR, WGS, SGR, BGR, WGRM, SBWG, TM(G). The Ex-marking in accordance with GOST 31610.0 2014 (IEC 60079 0: 2011) and the ambient temperature,

depending on the sizes of the drive of the ICON3000 are given in table 1.

2 Information providing identification of the products

Structurally, the Actuator consists of a body consisting of three parts, closed by covers. The shell and covers are

connected by means of bolts. The followings are placed in the Actuators parts: electric motor, local interface unit,

input compartment and mechanical part.

The mechanical part of the Actuators consists of an output hollow bored shaft with a geared end, a control shift lever

and a rotate stem, designed for manual control of pipeline valves in case of an actuator damage or a power outage.

Mechanical compartment of the electric actuators has no electrical parts.

The electric motor can be single- or three-phase, AC or DC. The flange of the electric motor is fixed to the Actuator

shell by four steel screws, the design and dimensions of which provide a strong connection.

The input compartment of the Actuators shell for electrical power supply is double insulated, three or four (optional)

holes for cables and a cover. Optionally, to ensure the sending of remote signals about the state of the output relays

and target messages in case of a mains power failure, a separate compartment with a battery can be located in the

electric actuators inside the input box.

The local interface unit is fixed to the actuator shell by four steel screws and includes a three-position switch, stainless

steel control buttons, closed from the outside with discharge caps, a viewing window with two digital displays

(optional) and two or three LEDs.

For connecting the grounding conductor there is an external contact terminal on the case of the input compartment of

electric drives.

The Actuators for industrial pipe fittings, series ICON3000 in part of explosion protection comply with the

The Actuators explosion protection provided by the following means.

The electrical parts of the actuators are placed in a flameproof enclosure that withstands the pressure of the explosion

and eliminates its transfer to the environment.

The explosion resistance and explosion-proof of the shell comply with the requirements for electrical equipment of

subgroup IIB or IIC according to GOST IEC 60079-1-2011.

The parameters of the flameproof enclosure connections comply with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079-1-2011

for electrical equipment of the subgroup II group.

The connections of individual parts are made using sealing gaskets.

Explosion protection, type "intrinsically safe electrical circuit" is provided by the following means.

The power of the local interface is carried out from the battery. The local interface has no sparkling elements. Battery

placement in a separate compartment and securely fastened.

The intrinsic safety of the battery's output electrical circuits is provided by limiting the current and voltage in normal

and emergency modes to values that meet the requirements of GOST 31610.11 2014 (IEC 60079 11: 2011) for circuits

of subgroup IIC. The limitation of the values of electric current and voltage is provided by a current-limiting resistor

and three zener diodes.

The electrical load of the elements providing intrinsicsafety does not exceed 2/3 of the nominal values.

Leakage paths, electrical gaps and electrical insulation strength comply with the requirements of GOST 31610.11

2014 (IEC 60079 11: 2011).

The maximum heating temperature of the drive casing does not exceed the values allowed for the corresponding

temperature class in accordance with GOST 31610.0 2014 (IEC 60079 0: 2011).

Protection against dust ignition is ensured by the use of "dust ignition protection with“ t ”shells. The connection

parameters of the shell parts comply with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079-31-2013.

The design of the housing and the individual parts of the actuator enclosure is made, taking into account the general

requirements of GOST 31610.0 2014 (IEC 60079 0: 2011) for electrical equipment located in hazardous areas. Seals

and joints of structural elements provide a degree of protection not lower than IP66 according to GOST 14254 2015

(IEC 60529: 2013) (Degrees of protection provided by shells (IP code)). The mechanical strength of the shell complies

with the requirements of GOST 31610.0 2014 (IEC 60079 0: 2011) for electrical equipment of group II with a high

degree of risk of mechanical damage. Structural materials provide friction intrinsic safety.

There are a warning sign, a plate indicating the marking of explosion protection and the "X" sign, placed on the case

of the actuator.

3 Conditions of application

The electric actuators for pipeline fittings, series ICON3000 and belong to explosion-proof electrical equipment of

group II in accordance with GOST 31610.0 2014 (IEC 60079 0: 2011) and are intended for use in explosion-

hazardous areas of premises in accordance with the assigned marking of explosion protection, requirements of ТР ТС

ТС 012/2011, GOST IEC 60079 14 2013 (Explosive atmospheres. Part 14. Design, selection and installation of

electrical installations), other regulatory documents governing the use of electrical equipment in hazardous areas and

in areas that are dangerous for ignition of combustible dust, operating instructions VCIOM-08500-ENG.
