Make plans now to attend BGJHS Spring Musical - “Guys and
Dolls, Jr.” Musical dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
March 18th-20th in the BGJHS Auditorium. Evening
performances will begin at 7:00 p.m. while the Sunday
afternoon matinee performance will start at 2:30 p.m.
General Admission tickets may be purchased in the lobby outside of the auditorium one
hour prior to each performance. Adult tickets are $7.00. Student tickets (ages 4
through 8th grade) are $4.00. For more information, contact Jeanie Orr at
ThinkLink Testing will take place school-wide on Tuesday and Wednesday,
March 22 and 23. It is very important that students be in attendance these
two days.
Please make sure your child gets a good night’s rest and eats a healthy breakfast each day. We also
ask that parents do not schedule doctor, dental, orthodontist or other appointments during this
testing window. Students will be tested in Reading, Science, Social Studies, and Math. Thank you

Promotion Ceremony, we’d like to

Promotion Breakfast on May 27th
at 8:00 a.m. This will be a time to
celebrate your students’ achievements here at BGJHS
as they get ready to achieve even more at BGHS!
Bowling Green Junior High is very proud to have seven
6th grade students whose artwork has been selected
for the Youth Art 2011 Exhibition at the Capitol Arts
Center.

This year’s exhibit will be March 3rd through March
22nd. The reception will take place on Sunday, March
20th from 12:00-2:00 p.m. with the awards ceremony
beginning at 12:30 p.m.
School Bricks are on sale for parents inter-ested in purchasing them for their student or alumnus. The cost is $40.00 and includes engraving (max. 30 characters) and placement in the BGJHS Auditorium Entrance Walkway. donate, we would appreciate them. Students use them
for different projects. Please send them to Mrs. Hines in
the library. Thank you!
English as a Second Language classes and GED preparation
classes are offered by the Bowling Green Technical College at
Parker-Bennett-Curry school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from
4:00pm to 6:00pm. If you are interested in attending the clas-
ses, please call Teresa Sneed at 746-2276 or just come to the
classes. The classes are free. Child care is free for families
who live in the Bowling Green City School District.

Ethan Miller recently competed in the
State High School Diving Competition
at the University of Louisville on Feb-
ruary 24th. Matthew placed 2nd in
the Region and was an automatic qualifier for State,
and Ethan Miller placed 4th. Way to go guys!!
