1.The best ways of protecting the environment
Environment is the land, air and water around us. Man is the finest product of the environment.
Living beings are influenced by the environment around them. A clean and healthy environment is part
and parcel of the wealth and quality of life. People demand that the air they breathe, the water they drink, and the food they eat is free of pollution and contaminants. Advancement in science and technology,
industrialization and urbanization have resulted in environmental degradation. As human beings we have
a responsibility to preserve the actual value of nature for future generations. Management of environmentmeans the proper utilization, conservation, preservation, control and recycling of resources for
maintaining a balanced ecosystem.
Pollution of environment is a world-wide phenomenon. Some of the best ways to protect our
environment areas follows afforestation must be encouraged,Compressed natural gas can be used as fuel, avoiding the burning of non-biodegradable waste like plastics, the used water should be recycled in
proper way, reduction in the use of fossil fuels, growing more trees and avoiding deforestation. Though
many efforts taken by the government to maintain and improve the environment and control theenvironmental pollution. If reduce, reuse and recyclebecomes the mantra of eachindividual, our next generation will be able to enjoy what we are enjoying from our planet.
2. Internet and T.V erode our values
With the advent of electronic revolution T.V. and internet have pervaded all strata of society.Watching T.V and internet are just like an addiction and compel people to watch it. They steal our
precious time and affect our health. It is also bad for the eyes and it may even lead to blindness in the
future. Using T.V and internet for long periods of time can isolate from family and friends. They disable
the learning ability of students. They decrease the capability of the person to acquire knowledge bymerely reading. By viewing the television and internet many antisocial acts and violence even various
crimes have given birth in the society.
Children develop electronic friendship with computer, instead of with their parents and elders.
Consequently, they lose touch with the values and traditions. They do not spend time on outdoor games
and social interaction as a result there is increase in crimes and anti-social activities in the society.
Pornographic sites are very harmful for children and have bad influences on the children's mental life.
There is no censor for T.V. and internet, children are vulnerable to these media villains in our drawing
hall. It is high time for the parents and elders to take necessary steps to inculcate our traditional values
among our children for a better future.
