RedNet AM2 is a Dante-compatible stereo

monitoring unit combining headphone and line

outputs for fl exible monitoring of signals sourced

from the Dante network.

RedNet AM2 features a 0.25in front-panel

headphone socket plus a pair of balanced line

outputs with male XLR connectors mounted

on the rear panel, which may be used for

loudspeaker monitoring and other applications.

The headphone output delivers signifi cant

audio output power, suffi cient to drive even high-

impedance headphones at substantial levels.

RedNet AM2, fi tted with non-slip feet, is designed

to either sit securely on a fl at surface or be

mounted on top of a mic stand using a standard

threaded bush in the base.

RedNet AM2 includes a two-channel Dante

receiver based around the latest Ultimo

hardware and features a roadworthy aluminium

extrusion-based enclosure. Two large volume

control knobs are provided for headphone and

line output levels; the latter also features a mute

button with associated LED. Other indicators

show the presence of power, network and signal.

The unit may be powered either via PoE (Power

over Ethernet) or via the 12V DC input barrel

connector (universal power supply included).

Dual etherCON connectors are included to

connect to the network and to daisy chain to

additional network devices.

quality, the M32R packs the power of the

M32 into a portable, rack-mountable,

elegant form factor. Taking another leap

forward with a new concept in console

operation, the M32R has an ultra-smooth

and precise feel with its intuitive layout,

giving the user instant access to their

most-needed functions. The console

offers the latest in modern technology,

redefi ning what rack-mountable digital

desktop consoles offer. With smooth

Midas has combined modern construction

principles and high-tech materials into an

incredibly lightweight, 40-input channel rack-

mountable portable console. The combination

of high-impact steel, aluminum and carbon

fi bre creates a solid, strong frame and sub frame

yet remains extremely lightweight. With this

streamlined and elegant structure, the M32R

impresses furthermore with 17 100mm custom-

designed motorised faders; the feel is notable,

with smooth, polished surfaces. Built from highest-

grade steel guide rods, the Midas Pro Faders are

rated for up to 1,000,000 cycles three times the

number of other leading manufacturers. With

a long lifespan and constructed from highest-

quality materials, users benefi t from consistent

performance for a range of applications such as

live concert, studio and installed sound mixing.

The brilliance of the M32R not only comes

from its construction, but its workfl ow and

simplicity. The console has been designed for a

wide range of users; whether from an analogue

mixing background or another digital console

user, the M32R is engineered to deliver a fl uid

and intuitive mixing experience for all. The

controls allow for smooth adjustments as the

mix progresses while the 5 day-viewable TFT

display reports all adjustments in high defi nition.

Optimised control illumination provides clear level

and status display from any viewing angle. The

rotary encoders are illuminated to give the user

complete control of pre amp setting, frequency

shelving, dual dynamic as well as parametric EQ,

bus sends, main, mono and stereo panning. With

just nine strategically placed buttons across the

console, immediate access is granted to function

specifi cs, where previously such direct access

was only available on higher priced consoles.

The M32R delivers world-class sound,

comparable to no other console. The M32R

includes 16 award-winning microphone

preamplifi ers also found in the XL4 and

Heritage 3000 consoles, which are used for

world famous artists such as Bon Jovi, AC/

DC, Metallica, Foo Fighters and Sir

Paul McCartney amongst many

others. These analogue consoles

are considered to be amongst the

greatest live consoles ever built and

have become the essence of Midas

sound, bringing warm depth with

spacing and ambience. The M32

draws from this same legacy to bring

an elite professional level of audio

microphone preamps, they eliminate

imbalanced gain-setting, improving

the common-mode rejection-ratio

(CMRR) and harmonic distortion to

overloading but are extremely harmonically

rich when driven hard, producing a warm and

Also, using Midas renowned True Physical

Modelling technology, a total of 16 new

effects processors are included in the console

the need for racks of expensive outboard

equipment.

As a whole, the M32R offers completely future-

proof mixing. With industry-leading 192 kHz 24-bit

ADC and DAC converters, the console delivers

state-of-the-art unrivalled performance. Only

the best networking and expansion options

are available such as Dante, ADAT and MADI.

NEUTRON Audio System Engine is the ultimate

fl oating point processing combine with the

control surfaces fully interpolated touch sensitive

controls for a smooth continuous response and

Poised to change the face of AV signal distribution

forever, the award-winning BlueRiver NT+ chipset is

the only technology to extend and switch True-

4K/60(4:4:4) AV signals over IP switches with zero-

frame latency. It now also includes AptoVisions

new Plethora engine, a fully in-line engine for high

fi delity processing of uncompressed AV signals.

These processing functions include broadcast

quality scaling, pixel-perfect light-compression,

colour space conversion, frame rate conversion,

audio embedding/de-embedding, audio down-

mixing and audio re-sampling. The BlueRiver NT+

now also supports an unprecedented range

of 250m on CatX, 100m longer than incumbent

technologies. With the integrated Plethora engine,

the BlueRiver NT+ becomes the worlds fi rst and

only single-chip solution for end-to-end signal

distribution and processing.

It is a well-known fact that IP-based

technologies have taken over AV distribution

in the consumer space (VoIP, video over IP/

YouTube). It is surprising then that the $7bn* Signal

Management & Processing segment of the

Pro-AV market does not use IP as yet and instead

relies solely on custom AV switches and non-IP

based technologies such as HDBaseT. This is simply

due to the fact that until recently, no company

had been able to overcome the complex

technical challenge of delivering uncompressed,

zero-frame latency transmission over IP. The

BlueRiver NT+ is the fi rst and only product which

can utilise generic IP switches to deliver on the

full capabilities and performance of custom AV

switches at a much lower cost for equipment and

installation.

By recognising that Ethernet beat HDBaseT, this

product is perfectly positioned to transport studio

By allowing the replacement of AV switches

from traditional AV equipment vendors with

IP switches from vendors such as Cisco and

Netgear, BlueRiver NT+ drastically lowers switching

costs while offering signifi cantly higher levels of

scalability, reliability and performance and offers

a compelling alternative to HDBaseTs limited AV

extension capability. Moreover, it replaces fi ve

separate pieces of equipment (AV extenders/

AV switchers, AV processors, video-wall controller

The technical challenge: IP switches are

inherently asynchronous, and can suffer from

packet loss and re-ordering of packets. Video on

the other hand is synchronous by nature, requires

the timely delivery of in-order pixels and is not

forgiving of screen artifacts. The cutting edge R&D

perfect uncompressed video across a network

with a latency of just two screen lines (or about

1/1000th of a 4K frame).

Distributing pixels over a network allowed

AptoVision to innovate further. Unlike current

equipment which is limited to routing entire

video frames from source to destinations, the

BlueRiver NT+ can route individual pixels, partial

frames, or multiples frames from different video

sources to any display. AptoVision added pixel

processing, scaling and compositing capability

to the chipset to allow the mixing of multiple

video signals onto a single display. As a result,

the chipset is not just an AV extension and AV

switching solution, it is also a solution for video-

wall and multivew applications. All these modes

of operation can be controlled by a control

By using DynamicX2Share, the monitors just

need to be connected through an HDMI cable

in a closed daisy chain loop, so that any user can

send an HDMI signal to all other participants, and

to other large displays or projectors which might

be in the meeting room, or display their own

local sources in the monitor without interfering

the shared signal in other monitors. Signals for

controlling the monitors are embedded into

the HDMI signal, so there is no need to have

an additional control cabling. Dynamic Share

includes a built-in control system, by means of

hard buttons integrated into the cover plate, but

it can also be controlled remotely, through any

external control system. The share button will

select and distribute the user s signal to all other

participants, while View button will show the

video source locally, not affecting the shared

signal running inside the loop.

A retractable HDMI cable is integrated into

the top-table cover plate, providing a clean

solution for connecting laptops, tablets, cell

phones and other devices. External sources can

be connected, locally or remotely, and can be

integrated into the Dynamic Share system.

is set up, the audio can be de-embedded at

Drapers Optically Seamless technology now

allows Draper to make TecVision viewing surfaces

up to 23 feet high x 69 feet wide. Most quality

screen manufacturers utilise radio frequency

(RF) heat sealing to create seams in flexible,

unsupported vinyl surfaces. Two pieces of screen

fabric are placed between two dies (electrodes).

The RF produces heat by exciting the molecules

to the point that they melt and create the seam.

The generic term for this method is called tear

seam. The strength of the seal is determined

by three factors: sealing current, sealing time,

and pressure. With Optically Seamless TecVision,

Draper fuses a base substrate which results in a

much flatter base material with a stronger weld

(100% stronger than traditional seams). With the

ideal substrate perfected, Draper uses TecVision

formulation process to create a perfect and

optically seamless viewing surface. All of Drapers

TecVision screen formulations are available in

Optically Seamless larger sizes.

While several things set Optically Seamless

TecVision sizes apart from other products, there

are three really key advantages. First, with

Optically Seamless TecVision, the fused substrate

is not visible even when the screen is not under

projection. Optically Seamless TecVision brings

much greater value because it is a much less

expensive process than making the vinyl substrate

seamless. Finally, the fused substrate is 100%

stronger than traditional tear seams!

Optically Seamless TecVision brings value,

allowing the integrator to provide a high-end

big screen solution in projection environments

will be formulated to deal with exactly the issues

DisplayNet is an entirely new concept for AV

distribution that leverages proven 10GbE Ethernet

technology to switch, extend and distribute

uncompressed AV signals in real time with

resolutions up to 4K (UHD). DisplayNet delivers

For almost a decade, AV systems have been

designed primarily around proprietary AV matrix

switchers. While this technology has driven a

wide range of innovations, there have been

several drawbacks. Proprietary matrix switchers

are expensive, they provide limited flexibility and

can use DisplayNet to effortlessly distribute

control. 10GbE network switches can also be

At ISE 2016 in Amsterdam, NL, DVIGear

exhibited DisplayNet. The DN-100 Series transmitter

accepts multiple signals such as HDMI (with

embedded audio and HDCP), analog stereo

audio, bidirectional IR, RS-232, and 1GbE and

transmits them over a 10GbE link up to 328

ft. (100 meters) using a single CAT6a or CAT7

cable. This link is then distributed via an off-the-

shelf 10GbE network switch to the receiver unit,

which provides all the signals for output at the

destination.

The DN-100 Series are built to maximize

system capability and flexibility. They support

uncompressed video up to 4K /30p (4:4:4) and

4K /60p (4:2:0) with zero artifacts and zero frame

latency. Video signals may be simultaneously

routed in Point-to-Point, Matrix Switching and

Video Wall modes all in the same system. For

more flexibility, each signal type (Video, Audio, IR,

RS-232, etc) can be routed independently. Other

advanced features such as audio embedding

and de-embedding are also supported. The

DN-100 Series includes powerful control software

and API to enable these units to be deeply and

easily integrated into new or existing systems.

The EMX-AMP is a 4K HDMI audio extractor with

built-in 50W audio amplifi er for direct connection

of 8 ohm speakers. The device also provides

line-level stereo aux audio input and allows audio

mixing of HDMI audio with the aux input. Volume

can be controlled from the front panel, RS-232, or

external digital rotary pot (encoder) that can be

mounted on a wall-plate.

Arthur Holm has introduced the

DynamicChairDisplay, a retractable motorised

monitor to be integrated in a chairs armrests. The

monitor is only visible when needed and it is safely

stored in the armrest when not needed.

This elegant aluminium screen has a semi-

automatic vertical extraction movement with

manual rotation towards the user, followed by a

motorised tilt adjustment.

The monitor housing is made of mechanised

aluminium with anodised finish. Its mechanism

is robust and silent and the whole solution is

integrated in a compact block, being very easy

to install.

It has two DVI inputs, HDCP compliant and it is

remotely controllable and diagnosable through

retracting system for gooseneck type

microphones during Integrated Systems

This innovative retracting system can be very

easily veneered and it provides a minimum depth,

being therefore ideal for furniture integration.

It allows the microphone to be bended and it

automatically takes it back to its original horizontal

position.

DynamicTalkH not only makes the microphone

disappear within the desk surface but it also

provides a pleasant interior light to indicate

its status. Microphones are safely stored and

protected and the meeting and conference

rooms become versatile to be used for different

purposes.

DynamicTalkH has two different working

modes: PA and Conference. When in PA mode,

a push button that disappears together with the

microphone within the desk, allows to activate or

deactivate the microphone. The interior light will

indicate the status by changing colour, from green

to red. The microphone will be automatically

silenced in retracted position. When in conference

mode, the microphone will always be active and

both the light and the access to the push button

will be available through a connector (GPI/GPO).
