Memorandum To: Employees with a Company Benefit Plan From: Human Resources Date: September 19 th , 2011 Re: Benefit Premium Deductions This memo is only for employees that participate in a company benefit plan. As part of the move towards an improved HRIS system, we will be making a change to how benefit premiums are currently deducted from paystubs. For those who have benefit deductions, we are moving from a monthly deduction schedule (deductions on the first pay date of each month) to a semi-monthly schedule (deductions twice a month). The amount deducted will be split; however, the total amount of the benefit deductions will remain unchanged. If you do not have any benefit premiums being deducted, there will be no change. What does this mean? It simply means that instead of having one large deduction each month, you will have two lesser amounts deducted each month. This change will be effective when we implement the new system and you will see your paystubs online through the ‘Employee Express’. The implementation date will be announced at a later time. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Manager.
