Canteen Help Required for 2016
Our fantastic Canteen Co-ordinators, Kathy and Suzy, are finishing up this year so we need your help!
Co-ordinators help with setting up and packing up the canteen, organising the canteen volunteers each week and purchasing stock. The role is an ideal one to share amongst a few people, be it split between morning and afternoon shifts or even on a roster such as week on, week off. The more people the better.
The canteen is a valued part of Belwest. Not only does it provide a great service for everyone on game days but it also provides vital funding for the Club. If we don’t find new coordinators the canteen may not be able to open in 2016.
Please contact a committee member if you are interested,or email: [email protected]
Thank you to the Committee
As we reach the end of another season it is time to thank each and every member of the committee for giving it their all, showing up on cold mornings to set up and all in all helping Belwest keep running. You have all done a fantastic job and no doubt will continue to do so well into the off season to ensure season 2016 starts smoothly.

From the Grill: Shaun (Comber) & ‘The Chef’
It only seemed like yesterday that we set the BBQ up for our first cook of the season, we are now looking at our last!!!
The season has flown by for both Thomas and myself.....that only means one thing ....we have had an absolute raft of supporters help us out this year.....many thanks to you all.
At my last count of Supporters Badges handed out we will have had 220 volunteers through the BBQ alone....that number is absolutely astounding.
That doesn’t take into account any of you that did 2 stints or just stepped in to help out when it got busy, many thanks for your support again.Thomas and I look forward to giving the canteen another bath in takings and profit this year to make it a trifecta !!!
If you get a chance to support our suppliers Woolworths Bakery – Kippax, Mikes Meats – Belconnen Markets, Mikes Superfruits – Belconnen Markets and the Georgiou Family, for their ongoing supply of goods.
Lastly I must thank Thomas Boshert for his loyal support each Saturday morning in setting up the equipment and cooking on the BBQ, you’re a true blue Belwest Fox.

NOTE- Minimum of 4 parents required per shift 2 for the BBQ and 2 for the canteen
We do apologise as some team have to do roster twice
If teams do not attend the canteen will be closed for that session
Teams are asked to do one 3 hour session in a season, if you do a roster between your parents they should be there no more than an hour. Parents are asked to work this out amongst themselves and give the coach and manager the time off to spend with the team playing.
When two teams are on the roster together, Belwest does require both teams to turn up, one can do the canteen and one can do the BBQ
