They should provide the most intimate context for the nurturing and protection of children as they develop their personalities and identities and also as they mature physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially. Our Caregivers interact with the children and cuddle them during the course of the day as they look for a little love and attention. In a child’s early years, they need close, loving, interactive relationships with adults in order to thrive. They should also be warm, responsive and committed. Ms. Prudence and Ms. Shanon of our Outreach Center do just that. These ladies take ownership of these children as if they were their own. They ensure that they are properly cared for. These ladies serve with their hearts. Hand In Hand Ministries is proud of having these dedicated ladies working with us.

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Kentucky build in Belize

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth have always beensupporters of Hand In Hand Ministries. They were veryinstrumental in the existence of Hand In Hand Ministries inBelize. Ever since, they have been bringing down groupsyearly to build a house for someone that needs theassistance.

This year was no different! A group of 10 wonderful andcaring SCN affiliates came to Belize to build a house forsomeone they never knew. All they knew was a name and astory. How many people are willing to leave their comforts oftheir homes to do something for someone they never met?Or even challenge themselves to build a home, not havingany construction background? Well these ten people tookthe risk and came to build a home. They met the person whothey would build for and formed a bond with her. By the endof the week, an area where only grass grew, a home wassitting there, waiting to be moved into. This was all possibledue to the efforts of these ten people that worked hard atraising the monies to be able to provide a home for this sin-gle mother.

A job well done Sister Luke (SCN) and her Crew!! May God continue to bless you all!!
