D.I.Y. attitude & atmosphere
3 stages: 2 music & 1 MTM
Organised by volunteers
Around 45 bands
The next big thingwill be a lot of small things
Refuse
●We provide free biodegradable soapfor the visitors
●Catering is with our own plates, trays & cups→ Foodtrucks must use these amap
●Serving tapwater

●Dry / compost toilets
●Ledlights with light sensors
●Since 2016 we filterour waste water witha mobile waterpurification system.

●Bubblegum trees
●Cigarette tubes
●Drinking cups
●Plates & trays

●Secondhand sofas

Repair
●Kitchen & other electronic material we own
●Broken stuff from suppliers,we try to fix ourselves
●Material found on the campsite or given at the donationpit
Re-gift
●Usefull stuff from thedonation pit is given tocharity organisations
●Food-leftovers droppedby a childeren’s home
●Old banners to the mainman from the dry toiletsto make new cabins
Recover
●Solar panels for lights &phone charge at campsite
●Smart generators with eco-batteries & timers
●Using hot water frombain-maries to dosome dishes
Recycle
●All trash is separated in 11 different fractions●The right bin at the right place(batteries on stage, glass at entrance, cigarette butts at entrance tents, ...)
●Everything is being extra sorted by hand & thrownin the right container
Rethink
●MTM-stage: Hardcore is morethan music alone, it’s also:
–Activism – ethical & radical subjects
–Environment: sustainable living
–Sustainable &/or less consuming as an integral part of the festival
–At Ieperfest through theMTM stage: workshops,spoken word, debates, documentaries, NGO-stands, zines, liveinterviews, …

●Good for our health,the planet & all human& not-human animalsof this world
●Tasty as hell !!
