I - Mushroom Clouds: Coming to a Town Near You?January 20, 2006 -- 34 years and millions of dollars later, CIA documents reveal the amazing success and dismal failures of 'StarGate' -- the formerly top-secret intelligence agency programs used to "remote-view" information that couldn't be accessed by any normal means of collection. [StealthSkater note: see doc pdf URL ]

Starstream Research has uncovered new files strongly suggesting that America's psychic intelligence agents were picking up information warning of the rise of Usama bin Ladin and the devastating attacks of September 11, 2001. The latest finds include a CIA-released DIA document that identifies "Project 911" and drawings that strongly resemble Usama bin Ladin before-and-after the 9/11 attacks. You can view some of the original documents at the Starstream Research website.

The StarGate files pointing to the 9/11 events were only the beginning. According to British author and filmmaker Jon Ronson, following the 9/11 attacks, psychic Uri Geller was reactivated into the ranks of intelligence agency psychic spies. The "spooky" spooks are likely used to track the movement of terrorists and weapons of mass destruction. Ronson claims that Uri Geller was reticent to speak of his work with the American CIA, but broke down and revealed one interesting tidbit of information. Ronson claims that Uri told him that the name of the man who reactivated his mental powers for intelligence was called "Ron".

Based on information provided to us by various sources, we strongly suspect that Ron is a former high-ranking CIA agency analyst previously tasked to monitor technology developments in China. The big question remains: which intelligence agencies might be involved in the latest version of a psychic black ops antiterrorist unit? MASINT (Measurement and Signatures Intelligence) is a likely candidate. But our present understanding is that Ron is working for John Negroponte at the Department of National Intelligence.

Rumors persist that America's DIA-trained psychic intelligence sources are viewing mushroom clouds over numerous cities in the homeland. Taken in tandem with the constant rumors of loose nukes,

it appears that the psychic spies may have been reactivated -- at least in part by the man said to have had a hand in shutting down the original DIA StarGate psychic spy program.

All-in-all, it would seem that there is something about space, time, and beyond that we don't understand. Researchers have discovered mirror neurons that empathetically fire in your brain when you are watching someone else get poked by a needle, for example. Somehow the neurons in a remote-viewer must fire empathetically for information about distant events, removed from ordinary sensory detection.

Last year the Air Force received a great deal of flak from the press about a research paper that they commissioned to examine the use of teleportation for military purposes. Apparently the journalists didn't realize that quantum teleportation has been an active area of mainstream research ever since it was discovered by a team at IBM in the 1990s. MIT Professor Seth Lloyd has been researching the use of quantum teleportation for communication networks. Lloyd's support includes the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Recently he also developed an interest in quantum gravity -- the elusive theory that would unite Einstein's theory of bending space and time with the foundation stone of all modern electronics and atomic engineering (quantum theory).

In the mid 1990s, Dr. Stuart Hameroff at the University of Arizona and Oxford's Sir Roger Penrose proposed that quantum processes might be involved in the emergence of human consciousness. Penrose is well known for his work in mathematics and the physics of black holes. The idea of creating a synthesis of quantum teleportation and brain function quickly followed as a theory of telepathy. In the Penrose-Hameroff theory, the shape of switch-like structures in the brain are controlled by the location of single electrons, the quantum of electric charge, and these structures resemble quantum computing circuits. [StealthSkater note: Hameroff-Penrose is one model for human consciousness. Matti Pitkanen has another. And there are many more. More detailed descriptions are archived at doc pdf URL ]

Seth Lloyd's theory of quantum gravity is based on quantum computing circuits. In other words, Lloyd believes that space-time is fundamentally a computational quantum process.

Is this beginning to sound a little bit like "The Matrix"? It should!

The StarGate legacy stands as evidence that the military will make operational use of anything appearing to offer a technical advantage whether-or-not there is scientific support for the technology.

One unnamed high-level source has confirmed that paranormal data was discussed by members of an elite government committee. Strange events investigated by Las Vegas businessman Bob Bigelow's National Institute of Discovery Science (NIDS) have been the topic of discussion between members at DIA-sponsored meetings on the threats of emerging technologies.

Dr. Eric Davis -- author of the highly controversial report on teleportation commissioned by the U.S. Air Force -- has been very forthcoming answering questions about observations of strange creatures and other anomalous phenomena made by NIDS personnel at Bigelow's Skinwalker Ranch. The "Skinwalker" is a shape-shifting being said to haunt this remote part of Utah near Salt Lake City. Strange creatures, strange objects, floating Black Triangles, animal mutilations, disintegrated dogs, telepathic messages -- a smorgasbord of every strange and imaginable terror -- has been served to those unfortunates spending any period of time at the ranch. The strangeness is reported in Hunt for the Skinwalker by former NIDS staff scientist Colm A. Kelleher and veteran UFO reporter George Knapp. In the Air Force teleportation study, Davis examines potential scientific explanations for the weird phenomena including space-time wormholes, teleportation, and manipulation of the quantum vacuum.

If the StarGate program was any measure of the interest displayed by the DIA in this kind of weirdness, it wouldn't be surprising to learn that the Utah ranch has been the subject of at least a few confidential memos for the record. Perhaps the DIA would like to "read in" a Skinwalker-or-two as part of their secret paranormal war on terror.

II - Defense Intelligence Agency Explores Weird ScienceSwimming in "The Aquarium" (note: not "The Aviary")

Rumors are one thing. Confirmation from a highly-placed advisor to the U.S. Government should be a different kettle of fish altogether. Part 2 of this particular "fish-story" lends at least some credence to rumors of continued government interest in accessing paranormal paraphysical phenomena in the guise of advanced technology. In other words, 'they' want to reverse-engineer technology not of this world.

Shortly after Starstream Research uncovered files that America's psychic intelligence agents had remote viewed information warning of the rise of Usama bin Ladin and the devastating attacks of September 11, 2001, we inquired about on-going interest in the use of paranormal phenomena by the Defense Intelligence Agency.

In the past few weeks, we have received additional confirmation that anomalous mental and paraphysical phenomena continue to elicit high interest in high places. A highly-placed source (who has asked to remain anonymous) has confirmed that the strange events investigated by Las Vegas businessman Bob Bigelow's National Institute of Discovery Sciences have been the subject of discussion at DIA-sponsored meetings on the threats of emerging technologies.

Insert disclaimer here: We have received a request to refrain from posting anything too sensitive that might already have come our way. Actually, we have received such requests on more than one occasion. That can be good for business, if some of your business involves revealing bits and pieces of formerly secret government machinery. It tends to lend an air of authenticity to the process of digging around between what is real and what is fantasy.

One more caveat: We are more than willing to acknowledge that a good portion of the information coming our way via the World Wide Web is nothing more than disinformation and unsubstantiated rumor

Weird ScienceOf course, it is likely that some of the information we received is provided as cover for a larger set

of activities. Our source for this particular tidbit of information remains (unnamed at his request) is a former officer with CIA/OSI Life Sciences Division. He is presently a member on a DIA-sponsored committee tasked with monitoring developments in future technologies that might pose a surprise threat to the national security.

NIDS, Intelligence, DisclosureIn the 1990s, Bob Bigelow created the National Institute of Discovery Science (NIDS) to explore

reports of paranormal activity. Recently, there has been a lot of discussion of the bizarre paranormal activity at Bigelow's Utah-based "Skinwalker Ranch". Strange creatures, strange objects, floating black triangles, animal mutilations, disintegrated dogs, telepathic messages -- a smorgasbord of every strange and imaginable terror has been served to those unfortunates that spent any period of time at the ranch.

For readers curious about this strange "threat" from space-time and beyond, I suggest tracking down the book "Hunt for the Skinwalker" by former NIDS staff scientist Colm A. Kelleher and veteran UFO reporter George Knapp. [StealthSkater note: doc pdf URL ] A Starstream contact who teaches at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City and is not prone to flights of fantasy actually observed a floating black triangle above the mountains. Something is out there. But we aren't quite sure what to make of all of this yet.

Our high-level source confirmed that NIDS data has been discussed by members of an elite DIA committee, at least informally. Life sciences are probably more concerned these days with the avian virus. But never underestimate the appetite for weird and wild science, even at an official level. A list of names of committee members involved in this particular wild "tiger tale" apparently was intercepted by the NSA. Or so we are told.

On a private level, the NIDS investigation of the "Skinwalker" phenomena was flawed as a result of budget constraints. One of the lead investigators -- a physicist who has recently worked under government contract -- lamented the lack of available detection equipment. Some of the "creatures" on the ranch could only be seen using ITT night-vision binoculars. The lack of a color thermal imager meant there was no means of determining if the shadowy beings emitted heat. This particular "entity" was completely invisible to the unaided eye.

The ability to enter an environment without detection and interact with the local surroundings would be of immense interest to the DIA. Paranormal stealth was a driving force behind the original StarGate psychic spy programs. Worse yet, the ability of an unseen entity to enter into American top-secret government installations should send up red flags throughout the military community. Covert psychic spying was heralded as a useful supplement to conventional intelligence gathering. But the real "diamond in the rough" was remote-perturbation -- the desire to use psychokinesis to affect the operation of command and control systems.

Consider the implications. Physics tells us that all information requires physical representation. Information is no longer considered an abstract quality. Information is the driving physical mechanism that controls National Defense from the operation of electronics on the battlefield to the bio-physical mental functioning of the Commander-in-Chief.

The metaphysical barrier can be crossed when-and-where it becomes possible to detect the actions of the unknown phenomena upon known material systems. Actual detection of the invisible NIDS Utah ranch entity using night-vision equipment may signal a new era in the application of weird phenomena for military purposes.

'Science' is a moving target. And there is never a shortage of researchers looking to upset the status quo. The problem nowadays for the would-be "alternative scientist" is that the mainstream is getting back into the game as well. Not only are some of the mainstream leaders discovering exciting possibilities in previously forbidden ground, but there is also data coming in that looks to support a whole new view of man, mind, and the (multi/Mega) universe.

Cosmic surpriseOne of our personal favorites is cosmologist Max Tegmark. This man has probably done more for

the idea of a Multiverse of many worlds than anyone else in recent memory. We recently forwarded links to several of Tegmark's papers to Dr. Paul Murad at the Defense Intelligence Agency. Murad runs a program on breakthrough propulsion physics that strongly features alternatives to the mainstream. Murad responded that he intends to read Tegmark's papers.

They are an eye-opening experience for the uninitiated. It seems that it is not enough to consider invisible parallel universes right in front of our nose. Tegmark claims (and presents supporting evidence in his arguments) that there are actually 4 different levels of parallel universes in the Multiverse. [StealthSkater note: see doc pdf URL ]

Is there more to consider beyond the 4 levels of parallel universes in Tegmark's description of reality? Apparently so.

Lenny Susskind -- one of the expectant parents of string theory, the 20th Century embryo of a 21st

Century final "Theory of Everything" -- is now promoting the idea of a cosmic landscape. It seems that parallel worlds are not enough. The laws of physics -- the rules that determine the structure of the Universe -- are up for grabs.

At least one of our contacts -- a Russian physicist -- has been writing about altering the laws of physics since the early 1990s. Given that the laws of physics are encoded in the cosmic landscape, they appear safely protected from human tampering.

On the other hand, any experiment energetic enough to accidentally rupture the wall of our Universe might create an unstoppable vacuum reaction -- a bubble of total destruction spreading outwards at the speed-of-light. It is well known that such a vacuum reaction would not only destroy the entire Earth, the Sun, and all of the stars in our galaxy, but it would also eventually destroy the entire observable Universe.

In a new paper, Max Tegmark and Nick Bostrom examine this possibility and conclude that it is extremely unlikely. On the other hand, it is true that if someone else out there in the depths of space has already broken the wall, we will never know about it. Since the reaction spreads outward at the speed-of-light, it is impossible for a signal to arrive ahead of the reaction in order to warn us of our impending doom.

In any case, according to Multiverse theory, there are an infinite number of copies of all of us in the Megaverse. So if we are destroyed, we will all continue on somewhere else.

http://www.starstreamresearch.com/vacuum_reaction.htm

III - Holes in the Wall of the WorldIn this installment, we explore the dangers of punching a hole in the wall of our Universe: the

creation of an unstoppable vacuum reaction -- a bubble of total destruction spreading outwards at the speed-of-light. It is well known that such a vacuum reaction would not only destroy the entire Earth, the Sun, and all of the stars in our galaxy. It would eventually destroy the entire observable Universe.

5

It was to be the final experiment for all time.

The temptation of absolute power had overrun the wisdom of a prescient collective conscience. Judgment Day was at hand.

The experiment had only been intended to produce a small change in the laws of Physics, in a local region of space and time in the laboratory. Such a possibility had been considered by the Russians. In the 1970s, Andrei Sakharov -- the father of the Soviet H-bomb -- warned that such research should be forbidden.

In the military-industrial complex, there was no constraint on forbidden research. And in the black hidden sector of the mighty economic machine, theory became reality and a device was completed. The intention of the experiment was to test the laws of Physics in a infinitesimally small location within the device, and to observe changes in the emitted radiation.

Unfortunately, the experiment failed to deliver the goods. Instead, the device accidentally blew a hole right through the wall of the Universe at a point where the laws of Physics had been safely encoded in the false vacuum. An opening was created through the domain wall, spilling into the void of the true vacuum.

The sudden phase transition in the previously meta-stable vacuum supporting the Universe was catastrophic. An immense wave of absolute destruction spread out from the source of the experiment, moving uniformly at the speed-of-light. In less than a 1/20 th

of a second, the entire planet had been engulfed by the expanding vacuum bubble -- an all-destroying nothingness -- and was no more. A little more than a second later (had clocks remained near the origin of the destruction), the bubble had reached the moon orbiting the planet. And it too was gone. Roughly 8 minutes later, the star that had preserved living creatures for some four billion planetary orbital cycles was consumed by the bubble. And within a few short hours, most of the star system had been destroyed. No one was left to mourn the loss of their children.

4 years and a few months later, an observer probe stationed in orbit around a nearby star system suddenly went dead without warning and ceased broadcasting to the home world. There was no warning. Just an awful silence that could never be detected. The silence and the wave-of-destruction were one and the same.

A few hundred thousand years had passed, and the entire galaxy surrounding the star system disappeared into the void. Hundreds of billions of stars had given up their existence. The life sustained by countless child-worlds had been lost as sacrificial slaughter to intellectual fallibility and pride. The void continued to expand, passing through the deep space between the galaxies. An observer gazing through a telescope looked up into the night sky and wondered about the beautiful spiral arms of the closest galactic neighbor, some 2½ million light-years distant. There was no way for the observer to know that the billions of star systems were no longer there. The observer had no means of receiving information about his own impending destruction.

A small clandestine group within government on the observer's world knew better. They had developed strange, weird paraphysical phenomenology for the purpose of spying on their enemies. Known as remote-viewing, it defied all attempts at scientific

6

Page 7: Bekkum_01.doc - StealthSkater  · Web viewSabotage might be too strong a word, ... The issues are huge and hang over the heads of nearly every living entity on this Planet. ... Bekkum_01.doc

understanding. Somehow, it seemed that space and time became transparent in some fashion and the opaque veil imposed by the universal limit -- the speed-of-light -- fell away from their mental gaze. They had tapped into the Cosmic Internet -- a database outside of the understanding of mere mortal beings.

For the moment, our tale must end. We leave the observer safely nestled within the blue and living planet Earth, with a lesson and a warning for any reckless soul willing to play with the fabric of space and time. Time is distance in the vastness of space. And the time we have remaining may be determined by how far we are from the phase transition of the vacuum. We may have billions of years ahead of us … or perhaps only fractions of a second.

Recently, cosmologist Max Tegmark and philosopher Nick Bostrom took a new look at the possibility of catastrophic destruction of our World and our Universe. They noted that "One might think that since life here on Earth has survived for nearly 4 Gyr (Gigayears), such catastrophic events must be extremely rare. Unfortunately, such an argument is flawed, giving us a false sense of security. It fails to take into account the observation selection effect that precludes any observer from observing anything other than that their own species has survived up to the point where they make the observation."

If someone out in the depths of space has already punched through the wall, we will never know about it. Since the reaction spreads outward at the speed-of-light, it is impossible for a signal to arrive ahead of the reaction in order to warn us of our impending doom. In any case, according to the latest Multiverse theory, there are an infinite number of copies of all of us in the Megaverse. So if we are destroyed, we will all continue on somewhere else. [StealthSkater note: Prof. Tegmark's Scientific American article on parallel universes has been archived at doc pdf URL ]

You might not take much comfort from that last statement.

"The one disaster scenario that exploits the remaining observer bias loophole and evades all these constraints is vacuum decay, either spontaneous or triggered by a high-energy event." [1]

"Our bounds do not apply in general to disasters of anthropogenic origin, such as ones that become possible only after certain technologies have been developed, e.g., nuclear annihilation or extinction via engineered microorganisms or nanotechnology." [1]

IV - Avian Virus Invades Washington, DCIn the real-life world of psychic spies, paranormal goat killers, and "Skinwalkers" haunting remote

regions of Utah, all roads lead to Ron -- a high-ranking former CIA analyst and the "core story" of a shadowy group of government insiders popularly known as "The Aviary".

"Uri," I said, "please give me something to go on. Please tell me one more thing."

Uri sighed. "Okay," he said. "I will tell you one more thing only. The man who reactivated me is ..."

Uri pause. Then he said, "… called Ron."

From page 12 of The Men Who Stare at Goats by Jon Ronson

This is a true story about a couple of "tricky fish" floating in the intelligence pond affectionately known as "The Aquarium". Like all good fish tales, the size of the catch has almost certainly been exaggerated. On the other hand, we may have uncovered a tale of a sea monster-or-two lurking beneath the surface. From the world of psychic spies, paranormal goat killers, and "Skinwalkers" haunting remote regions of Utah, something wicked-and-wacky this way comes. Our real-life "X-files" mystery continues with the introduction of a few strange characters and even stranger ideas.

What emerged from the swirling tunnel was unlike anything seen in our world. Weirdly alien-neurological electricity -- like a living sheath of charged blackness. There was the impression of massiveness. And as the intruder took form, it was 4 feet across and 6 feet in height. A fluid perfect blackness took shape as a liquid black hole of living intent.

Avian dreams: Mr. Smith goes to WashingtonLet us introduce one of the main characters in our Orwellian tale -- a man we shall designate as

"Ron".

Ron has a job doing the work of the U.S. Government. His employer -- an intelligence agency -- doesn't say a great deal about what Ron actually does. We do know more about Ron than many of his associates thanks to his brief appearance in the New York Times a few years ago. More on that later.

Ron developed the reputation of being the chief phenomenologist at the CIA. Something about a file filled with strangeness called the "weird desk". It is said that Ron inherited this assignment from a certain retired CIA officer, who continues as government consultant in the critical area of reviewing advanced technologies with possible military applications. This gentleman holds the distinction of appearing in a photograph in the March, 2006 Reader's Digest.

8

Page 9: Bekkum_01.doc - StealthSkater  · Web viewSabotage might be too strong a word, ... The issues are huge and hang over the heads of nearly every living entity on this Planet. ... Bekkum_01.doc

Inside the alleged "weird desk" is the "core story" about visitors not of our world. The extraterrestrial tale has spread with some help from a group of present and former intelligence agents and military types in a loose network popularly known as "The Aviary". Another source with close ties to the alleged members of the Aviary group revealed that the same core story had been confirmed by the former Director of Central Intelligence Richard Helms, just prior to his death in 2002.

We wondered if the "weird desk" really existed. So did Nick Cook from Jane's Information Group. Nick asked us, and so we inquired. We contacted an associate of Ron's in the private sector that we shall designate "Mr. Smith".

"Ron's activities are either overt or covert with respect to the so-called visitors per Mr. Smith. I suggest they are covert, perhaps even with respect to his activities at DIA... As I have already pointed out to Mr. Smith, it is suggested that Ron is working as CIA representative at DIA on passive radar technologies and their various applications, which might include foreign stealth and of stealthy UFOs ... In other words, Ron may be working with DIA on improved methods for tracking "visitors" -- a situation brought briefly to the public's attention by the Mexican report on invisible UFOs ..." [StealthSkater note: A new radar was placed on the B-1 and later the B-2. It was called a "Low Probability of Intercept" (LPRI) radar that minimized semi-active SAMs homing-in on the plane while it was scanning. A Hughes engineer was convicted of espionage when he was caught selling the sales manual of that radar to a foreign government. Perhaps this is what is meant by "passive". The new AESA radars probably do a better job.]

A MITRE document confirmed that a new kind of radar is under development using personal computers. We suspect that the new radar is a passive system intended to detect unwanted intrusions into U.S. air space. As for the nature of the intruders, that is best left to the imagination. There has been a great deal of chatter by persons in the know that the UFO question -- in particular the military implication of violation of sovereign airspace -- is taken very seriously. Unless there is a terrestrial explanation for the intruders, we must assume that those (sources) protected by classification have also accepted the possibility that this phenomenology is foreign to our world. As Mr. Smith tells us, this is a "gray area" -- a useful term which implies that the interpretation is ambiguous and open to manipulation by the most powerful players.

Recently we learned through a back channel source with close ties to intelligence types in suits that our disclosure of an interest in all things "alien" by members of the DIA-sponsored TIGER committee had provoked a split between some of the key players. TIGER is the "standing committee on Technology Insight-Gauge Evaluate Review". Naturally, our first reaction was that anyone desiring confidentiality would not intentionally promote the fact that such a committee existed in the first place.

Putting '2' and '2' together and adding in a bit of raw speculation, we obtain '5'. Our present opinion is that there is a rift. And that the reference to the committee on an open e-mail list of government employees and journalists was deliberate. The said result apparently threatened the continuance of the UFO group on the committee. Sabotage might be too strong a word, but that is how it is beginning to look from our end.

Page 10: Bekkum_01.doc - StealthSkater  · Web viewSabotage might be too strong a word, ... The issues are huge and hang over the heads of nearly every living entity on this Planet. ... Bekkum_01.doc

In 1993, the DIA "StarGate" project initiated a pilot study into the feasibility of using telepathy for Command, Control, and Communication for soldiers behind enemy lines in situations where normal communication wasn't possible. [StealthSkater note: see doc pdf URL ] If the Government is serious about developing mind-to-mind com links, then they must also be considering the threat of "foreign" developments. This is known as C4: Command, Control, Communication, Computers. Telepathy merely takes this to the next level. It provides a command-and-control signal line for communication. The computer is the biological material inside the human brain. Wiggle this brain here and that one over there responds. Wiggle hard enough, and perhaps you have created a remote-control system.

Combine the ideas behind passive radar with telepathy and you have a unique C4 system capable of distinguishing the flow of unconscious information around the Planet. The Aviary is concerned not so much with the hardware of an "alien" civilization but with a deeper and more sinister dilemma. Take command-and-control of the flow of the collective unconscious mind and you have taken control of the human race. [StealthSkater note: perhaps Dan Sherman was an unwitting participant in alleged ET-communications in the so-called "Project Preserve Destiny"??? => doc pdf URL ]

A meme is an idea that spreads like a virus -- an idea that replicates, evolves, and infects like the common cold, moving from host-to-host. It would seem that the Aviary's "core story" has revealed a virus of unearthly intent set upon the leadership of our planet.

Getting past the sci-fi implications of a paranormal C4 scenario, we have to wonder about all of the smoke and mirrors presented by the alleged Avian virus. Will Mr. Smith make it in time to warn Washington? What about the White House? Are they ready for this? Are these folks for real?

10

A shape-shifting intelligence had arrived on the scene for an unknown nefarious purpose. The effect was brief, but effectively shocking. Spun into our World, the unearthly source appeared to grow an arm. Then a hand flowed from the shapeless mass and reached out for the human's wrist. A strong tugging sensation gave way to total shock passing through the body as the entity pulled its human host towards the tunnel.

V - Where Brain meets BraneMr. Smith has left me wondering once again about brain worlds.

That's not a typo. "Brain worlds" are the Multiverse of many worlds forming the mental landscape experienced by the gray matter that inhabits your head. On a potentially related topic, some physicists are proposing "brane worlds" as in membranes or sheets of space-time floating in a higher dimension. What I am anticipating is a combination of both of these ideas in a new synthesis where brain meets brane. [StealthSkater note: see doc pdf URL ]

Lisa Randall -- physicist and author of the book Warped Passages -- appeared on the Coast-to-Coast talk radio program with host Art Bell. We have to give Lisa credit for her reasoned and conservative answers to Bell's questions. Randall's responses highlight the core problem with any kind of weird and exotic phenomenology. She was very careful not to tread into areas that she knows cannot (as yet) be falsified but are too far flung from the comfort zone of her peers in Science. The fear of flying too far, too fast, and too high keeps the mainstream crowd with seatbelts fastened to the middle of the scientific curve. It was the thrill of flying higher, going farther, and progressing faster than the enemy that drove the radical intelligence community on a grail quest for the strange and weird in the black world of psi versus spy.

The hard problem for any paraphysical research is how to discriminate between purely mental phenomenology and allegations of the physical manifestation of weirdness that might be amenable to genuine scientific inquiry. A good example was an observation reported to me several years ago of knives lifted by an invisible force and slammed into a wall. The problem with these kinds of events -- if they are real -- is that their transient nature doesn't translate into scientific repeatability in a laboratory.

Some of the effects might be explainable as brane-world coupling, involving unknown interactions between our brane world and the alien brane floating in the universe next door. It's an interesting possibility and is certainly worth considering. Most of the time, what happens on our brane should be independent from events in an alien brane that might literally exist right in front of your nose.

We know from the present state of the experimental art of physics that if alien brane worlds exist, they must be closer than a millimeter to our own brane. That presents the possibility of a sandwich of realities with the gravitational force passing between them. The problem for paraphysical phenomenology is that our familiar large-scale reality is mostly a product of the electromagnetic force. The electromagnetic force is thought to be confined onto our brane world like a tiny piece of string with both ends stuck to the brane like bugs on flypaper. The force of gravity -- which is free to pass between brane worlds -- is far too feeble to interact strongly enough to produce the kind of localized effects often reported in paraphysics.

As new scientific possibilities appear -- such as brane worlds next door, or invisible alien nanotechnology -- closer examination finds that the real roots of the phenomenological core story are

dug even deeper into metaphysical ground. The latest incursion by mother synchronicity might have involved Vice-President Dick Cheney's recent problems with all things explosive (including firearms and foreign policy issues). That appears to be the underlying working hypothesis of Mr. Smith as he makes his way to Washington in search of ears willing to get bent in the phenomenological direction. Who knows, perhaps Mr. Smith's hunch is right and Cheney owes his recent problems to a collective solution building in the unconscious mindset out in the heartland?

While there is no denying that reports of physical nuts-and-bolts hardware attract the most interest (especially for the Department of Defense), our opinion remains that the phenomenology of immediate concern directly impacts the bio-physical thought structures of the human mind-body machine. This is slippery ground, and a fish out-of-water can quickly squirm their way out of hand. Having cast our net in that direction, we have been wondering lately how many different kinds of tricky fish are swimming out there in the deep blue sea.

There are lessons to be learned from history, and the story of paraphysics at Stanford Research Institute in the 1970s readily illustrates the fish mindset. In this cunning tale of fish catching fish, we are struck by the similarity to current events. In the 1977 CIA internal document "Studies in Intelligence", author Ken Kress describes his first meeting with Stanford Research Institute psychic test subject Pat Price. When Price identifies Kress' employer as the CIA, he notes: "Since I was then a covert employee, the response was meaningful." In another previously classified document, the author questions the best way for the company to present themselves to psychic Uri Geller.

"...with appropriate backstopping, we could pass ourselves off as NIH officials... If we pose as NIH, the rationale for our interest is simple -- straight basic research."

In the vast internal Multiverse of "brain worlds" and "cosmic politics" gone awry, we are left wondering about the aftermath of all things related to the STAR GATE. Do we really need the brane worlds in order to comprehend the mystery? Perhaps Mr. Smith is correct that the phenomenology is more about the politics of our virtual realities than any "real" extra-worldly presence. One might suspect as Mr. Smith goes to Washington, that a very surprised catch is about to be delivered to the White House front door.

VI - American ParaPhysics and WashingtonCaught Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

The truth is stranger than fiction when the Government seeks to use paranormal phenomena to reverse-engineer alien technology. We couldn't make this stuff up. Really!

Rumors continue to float our way that a quiet, behind-the-scenes group intends to proceed with briefing a high-level intelligence committee sponsored by the Department-of-Defense and the Defense Intelligence Agency. A confidential study has been conducted at university level to gauge the impact of ultra-advanced technology from "higher" intelligence sources that are most certainly not of this world. The modification of the gravitational field (allowing for the manipulation of space and time) and integrated direct mind-to-mind telecommunication (popularly known as telepathy) were among the topics.

We recently examined a highly confidential report detailing issues that might be of concern if ultra-high level technologies are introduced into society at large. The issues are huge and hang over the heads

of nearly every living entity on this Planet. The technology in question is said to involve manipulation of space-time and gravitational properties presently considered to be immutable for all practical purposes. The standard assumption of mainstream science is that the energy scales required to manipulate space and time are far beyond any conceivable human technology. The new technology must therefore involve manipulation of the higher energy space-time structure using some form of lower-scale energy control. We have heard that this space-time bending phenomenology is observable using very high voltages.

Moving on and inside the cloak-and-dagger world of new technological surprise, we suspect that the "official" cover story involves recovery and reverse-engineering of an unknown technology, suggestive of the crash of an otherworldly Unconventional Flying Object. The important point from our end -- assuming that any of this rings true -- is the high level of some of the players in this new ball game, and planetary disclosure and implementation of technology we consider beyond the moral capacity of the human species. The level of secrecy for anything of this magnitude should be tight enough to keep the science under wraps indefinitely. Interest at the DIA and the CIA background of key persons involved in moving this issue before the committee has left us wondering if a splinter group of outsiders managed to get close enough to hidden government machinery that they were able to ferret out some of the secrets.

The implications for sharing this technology would be nothing short of a major phase transition in the human species and for society at large. The religious implications are staggering. Indeed, it is likely that such a technology has the potential to exceed the present mainstream belief in the godly powers of the supernatural world by an order of magnitude.

We need to reemphasize that last point: This kind of technology may offer capabilities exceeding the general population's conception of ultimate power in a supernatural creation. We are making an important distinction here. This does not mean that the technology exceeds the power of the Creator, as one might interpret coming from a religious point of view. We are merely pointing out limitations for the human mind to conceive of either concept manifested into corporeal reality.

There is another issue that should be of concern. A phase transition in the information alignment of the human species -- due to the introduction of super-advanced technology -- may splinter our species into 2-or-more groups, creating additional divisiveness amongst the population. Some may decide (on the basis of religious, moral, or ethical values) to refrain from endorsing the technology. Extremists may outright condemn the movement toward a new type of human being and attempt to sabotage the transition point. Given the enormous power claimed for this advanced technology, most direct resistance would be futile. It is conceivable that some fundamentalists might access the power with the intent to direct the technology towards self-destruction. This is a primary issue that needs to be fully addressed before the population, prior to any genuine application of the technology.

Another serious concern is the integration of the technology within the existing world view and spiritual beliefs of the general population. The leadership of this blue planet may be acting from deeply-held world views that may have no basis in reality, but offer a supporting structure of personal direction and guidance.

The most serious issue would be the ultimate nature of our religious traditions with respect to the real hierarchy of mind, matter, and order in the multi-Megaverse. Divergent human trajectories -- as allowed by this kind of technology -- offer a means to satisfy a wide criterion for the placeholder of the self in the Multiverse at large. Other groups may converge towards universal observance of a Creator or principle of order, symmetry, and purpose, and focus upon this source in their deeply felt traditions.

Insiders refer to the "core story", suggesting the reality of the source of exotic technology. The core story involves the possible acceptance that "all good things must come to an end". And that includes humanity and civilization as we know it. If the core story concerns the final collective breath of the human race in this home universe in the infinite metaphysical and physical multi-Megaverse, then perhaps we are now observing the first words in the final chapter of human existence. The multi-Megaverse is said to be limitless (if repetitive) and offers the manifestation of all possible worlds. Let's hope that by chance, fortune, or guidance "from above" that we end up finding ourselves in the best of all possible worlds.
