TRANSCRIPT
Yet again we have started a new year and we ought to thank the Lord for His leading. This becomes our second newsletter and also I am happy to say that the Lord has given us new officers for this current year.
Let’s pray that Mission Go will continue to change lives but more importantly that we too may be changed as we work in the Lord’s vineyard. A Christian spirit is a missionary spirit; those who have been converted to a true religion will find in themselves a passion for souls and an urge to work for the Master. We need to put our heads, resources and all that we have for this year’s mission.
The harvest has always been plenty but resources and labourers have been few, as we pray together let us remem-ber to pray to the Lord of harvest that He may bring more labourers.
In this year when we are reading a chapter a day and praying 7-7-7, let us
be faithful in this regard that we may become sharp Bible students. As Paul wrote to Timothy who was a young evangelist, he urged him to study dili-gently such that as a workman he need-ed not be ashamed.
This year all roads lead to Gokwe, how I wish that even elders from Alumni will join us this time in their numbers, let us make arrangements right now for our leave days such that we may partner with our young brothers and sisters from campus. As we continue coming togeth-er will continue to improve all our strate-gies.
Let us read our Bibles for those who are planning to go, let’s go over again our doctrinal themes, such that as we go we will have a message. As I was reading yesterday’s Bible chapter I came across one interesting man called Ahimaaz who insists so much to be sent to King David by Joab after Absalom’s death, but Joab
new that the man had no message and he actually told him that you do not have a message and even though he had the message it would not bring him reward. The man had no message but he had the speed more than the one who had the message, he had the passion more than the one again who had the message. Read 2 Samuel 18:18-33
Though we may have speed and zeal it is important for us to have the right mes-sage for this generation, let us pray for the mission as we read our Bibles, lets take a lesson from Paul though he was about to die he sent Timothy for the book especially the Bible in his last latter. 2 Timothy 4:13

T his is the word of the LORD
unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by
might, nor by power, but by my
Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zecha-
riah 4:6.
As the Israelites were rebuilding
the temple in Jerusalem during the
reign of Darius they encountered a
myriad of challenges, both external and
internal. Their enemies were persistent
in discouraging the work and after some
time complacency crept in amongst the
builders and they relaxed. Today mod-
ern Israel faces a similar challenge. The
synagogue of Satan is marshaling its
ranks towards the final confrontation
and at the same time we see the enemy
introducing unregenerate elements
within God’s camp to weaken hands. .
But the Lord is faithful, He will come
through for His people as He once did
before and the cause will triumph glori-
ously. The promise of the Lord to
Zerubbabel is also applicable to our
time. The Lord is still in control.
On The Road We have traveled a long journey and
looking back on events that have tran-
spired in the recent past we can boldly
say that “we have a merciful and faithful
high priest in things pertaining to
God.”? One who promised, “I am with
you…, even unto the end of the
world.” Hebrews 2:17, Matthew 28:19.
No Turning Back The past few months were full of
activity and a successful period for the
Ministry. On 10 November 2012 we
had a third revisit to Magunje and with
a good turnout from Ministry members.
In Magunje, it is pleasing to note that
the churches are still afoot and pro-
gressing despite some remaining chal-
lenges. Magunje main church is doing a
commendable work to nurture the
sheep. The people continue to be in
need of your prayers.
At the revisit, upwards of hun-
dred (100) Great Hopes were handed to
the community, firstly at Hurungwe
District Hospital and the rest were left
to be given to the 3 local churches
planted after the June 2012 evangelistic
campaign. Other workers have also
joined the work in this formerly un-
entered region resulting in a fourth
church being opened at Karambazungu
school (some few miles from Dombo)
besides the 3 planted by the Ministry.
On 15 December 2012, annual elec-
tions were conducted which resulted in the
selection of a new committee to steer the
work forward.
Way into the end of 2012, on December
29, the Ministry had a follow-up revisit to
Mutoko. A wonderful experience it was.
The church is alive and though some chal-
lenges remain, when we look at the believ-
ers who have remained committed despite
challenges, we can say “Great is His faithful-
ness”. Keep the people of Mutoko in your
prayers. February the 9th 2013 witnessed
the first phase of pre-campaign survey. The
area visited was Matenganyika, Gokwe
South.
The thrust of this year’s mission is that
we get organized into a well structured
army, so to make it possible for us to pull
together in the same direction. With re-
sources at our disposal and an organized
band of soldiers, this world can be turned
upside down for the heavenly kingdom.
Your prayers are needful for
the work to be done. Pray for the Ministry
and for the Spirit of God to lead.
Even So, Come Lord Jesus
Signs all around are telling us that it
won’t be long before Him for whom
we are waiting appears in the clouds.
But a work must be done. It will not
be easy we are told but the fruit far
exceeds the pain and sacrifice.
This year the Lord has provided
an exciting schedule of programs.
Consider supporting this divinely
appointed work
There is no work on earth that
compares in dignity to the
work God has given to His
church: that of co-laboring with
Christ in the redemption of fallen
men.
This year the Master of the
vineyard is once more calling
for you and me to His harvest
field. The field is white and the
harvest ready. Our battle
commands are clear, the
General there to lead, Lets
enlist under His banner and
fight the good fight.
Christ gave His every-
thing for you. What will
you give Him back? An-
swer the question in:
terms of finance and material resources.
May the Lord continue to bless you and
add where you subtract.
The budget for this year’s programs is
pegged at US$8,200.00 (find attached the
full breakdown). As the Treasury depart-
ment we are kindly calling upon all mem-
bers and affiliates to contribute systemati-
cally so that we raise our funds in time.
The encouragement we are giving is to pay
a minimum monthly subscription of
US$20.00 (or more) for normal members
and US$10.00(or more) per month for
students on attachment. Once off pay-
ments are also greatly appreciated. The
target is to raise at least $2000 a month in
the next four months (February to May).
The earlier we raise the funds the less
uncertainty there is in planning for the
Mission. Non-financial items are also wel-
come.
We are working hard to open a Bank
Account for the Ministry. The process has
taken longer than we expected because of
a number of requirements. Progress has been
made but some issues still need to be resolved.
We have not lost heart and we continue to
work. We believe the account will help
smoothen cash movements and also improve
our financial contact with interested members
in the diaspora as well those who are locally
based.
Lastly, my appeal is that may we give ourselves
to sacrificing for the better of other brethren.
We may gain to ourselves all the treasures of
this world, but it will amount to nothing if we
lose our souls. We are better off laying up our
treasure in heaven by sacrificing our resources
for the salvation of others than to amass all the
earthly treasures that we will leave behind
when we die.
I n the Lord’s work it is needful for us
all to first come to a realization of
the great sacrifice that God has
done on our behalf and to then show our
gratitude by a token of sacrifice. When
we shall enter the celestial gates and
behold the boundless gifts God has
prepared for us, we shall fully realize
that we have only but sacrificed nothing
compared to all that Christ has won on
our behalf.
Having being involved with Mission Go
for the past few years, I have noticed, and
I am sure we all will agree; that the way
that we have been handling mission work
has improved. However, much more
needs to be done. We now need to
ensure that our financial arm is sound to
support all the programs that we intend
to do, and in the best manner possible.
Let me extend thanks on the Ministry’s
behalf to members and friends for the
generous support you have shown to
Ministry programs over the years, both in

I recall Zunde so much that when people

mountains in perilous times, a proper rural
Zunde will give you an insight and realiza-
tion that the time to preach is now. Most of
my current friendships where built at
Mutoko Chiutsi, and I still treasure them till
now.
T he first thing I recall is the humble
lunch we had on our debut day at
Chiutsi; “nzungu nema uyu”. Well
closely followed by that memory would be
the long and tedious walks to bath at the
river and finally the back -straining exercise
of fetching water from the well. For anyone
who has not set himself up psychologically
for Mission, it would not be a pleasant
experience.
It is only now when you look back after,
when the baptism is taking place before
your eyes, that you feel a great sense of
humbleness as you compare the little un-
pleasant experiences to the souls that have
been won for Christ’s kingdom. Mission gets
you to put off everything from pride to

of urgency to preach the word to all ends of

to accept the gospel we preach.
“ Trousers were my fashion,
style and what my heart de-
sired.”
I have also learnt that our lives might be the
only Bible that someone is reading there-
fore we need to be careful in whatever we
do. One amazing thing is when you know
the truth and accept Christ you want to
spread more and more. Thanks to Christ
our Lord Jesus who revealed to me the true
Sabbath which I accepted and was baptised
on 18 June 2011 in Mutoko Chiutsi.
My testimony is that the Lord lives and the
word that goes out of His mouth will ac-
complish what He has sent it for.
I remember in 2011 as the Zunde
Mutoko was now approaching and
Theaophilus Mlilo [then Society DLD] said if
you see yourself wearing clothes you could
not wear during Zunde just know there is
something terribly wrong with you. Trou-
sers were my fashion ,style and what my
heart desired; but I thank the Lord for the
dress reform message which changed my life
into a woman who understands that her
body is the temple of the Lord where the
Holy Spirit dwells.
Above all, the Zunde experience taught
me how to pray for others and to under-
stand that sometimes we need also to
provide for the needs of those we are

On Sabbath the 9th of February 2013, The Ministry did a prelimi-
nary survey in the area of Gokwe ( Central Zimbabwe Conference ).
The area visited was Gwanyika SDA Church in Matenganyika at
Gomoguru School (Gokwe South), about 20km from Gokwe centre.
We met a warm and loving church. The area has a relatively estab-
lished and respectable Adventist presence with a history of 20+
years. We had the privilege of meeting one of the pioneer missionar-
ies of the area who contributed in opening the church and he narrat-
ed their labors when they began the work years ago.
Other religions predominant in the area are Roman Catholi-
cism, Methodists and apostolic sects. The church received 10 Great
Hopes to give to the teaching staff at Gomoguru school.
We will hopefully go back to Gokwe ( a different part though) at
the of end February or early March for a final pre-campaign survey.
Your participation and input in this endeavor is priceless.

T wo classes have existed since
the entrance of sin. The sons
of God have maintained and
advocated for the truth whilst the
sons of hell have oftentimes resorted
to coercion, falsehood and counterfeit
to make void the truth. With the
passing of time the arch-deceiver
refined his tactics and endeavoured to
mingle his ideas with the principles of
pure religion. The result was introduc-
tion of tares into the field of wheat;
Matthew 13:25 “…while men slept, his
enemy came and sowed tares among
the wheat, and went way”
A further work of separation and
distinction become a necessity, as the
church pews were sooner or later
filled with lukewarm professed believ-
ers who knew not scriptures or the
power of God.
Shaking and sifting are God’s appoint-
ed means of purifying His church.
Shaking naturally brings out all that is
to be sifted out; shaking initiates

separation of a previously mixed
multitude. Consider shaking sand and
gravel in a pan, they will separate
within the pan; drill holes in the bot-
tom and continue shaking; now you
are sifting, the sand falls out and gravel
remains.
“God’s people will be sifted, even as
corn is sifted in a sieve, until all the
chaff is separated from the pure
kernels of grain.”- 1T p431:2. When
shaking comes by the introduction of
false theories, surface readers will be
sifted like sand. Not having received
the love of the truth and the straight
testimony, many will give heed to
seducing spirits and doctrines of devils
and depart from the faith. The Lord
will not excuse those who know the
truth if they do not in word and deed
obey. There have drifted into the
church ranks men who appear sound
and unquestionable, but who, with the
coming persecution will arise and
leave the church.

Economic Benefits Encouraging the drinking of fresh
water makes good economic sense for
healthcare professionals on tight
budgets. By helping to reduce incidenc-
es of some of the more common
ailments, better hydration improves
well-being and can reduce the volumes
of medicines that are required.
It can also take away many hours of
extra care time associated with illness-
es and remove some of the higher cost
professional involvement needed to
prescribe and administer treatment.

Some people spend a fortune in order to keep
as healthy as possible. That is good. But so
often we overlook the one thing that is essen-
tial for life, for fitness, and for good health –
WATER.
Water is a basic component of the human
body and is critical to human life. It is essential
to health, and is one of the most overlooked
substances among the other six basic nutrients
(along with carbohydrates, fats, vitamins,
proteins and minerals). “In health and in sick-
ness, pure water is one of Heaven's choicest
blessings. Its proper use promotes health. It is
the beverage which God provided to quench
the thirst of animals and man. Drunk freely, it
helps to supply the necessities of the system,
and assists nature to resist disease.” Counsels
on Diet and Foods pg 419
Health Benefits Water plays an important part in virtually
every bodily function.

body temperature.
> It carries oxygen and nutrients to all cells.
water. We can survive approximately 40
days without food, but only a few days
without water. Next to oxygen, water is the
most important nutrient for living. A human
body’s blood is 85% water, brain cells are
73% water, muscles are 73% water and
bones are 22% water.
On average you lose 10 cups of water a day,
and only replace 4 cups of water from the
food you eat. In order to replace the water
lost from the body, we need a minimum of 6
- 8 glasses per day. And that is 6 - 8 x 250ml
(2L) glasses. However, this is only a guide-
line.
>Add a cup if you exercise.

the functions of water.

professed people of God find their hearts
opposed to this straight work, it should
convince them that they have a work to do

one point; but when God brings them to
another testing point, they shrink from it and
stand back, because they find that it strikes
directly at some cherished idol.

FLASHBACK - Mutoko Revisit
P A G E 5 V O L U M E 2
B ack in June 2011, Mission-Go Ministry
conducted a mission campaign in the
area of Mutoko, specifically in the two
villages of Nyamuzuwe and Chiutsi. After the
evangelism series, 32 souls gave their lives to
Christ and got baptised, 20 at Nyamuzuwe,
and 12 at Chiutsi. A revisit to the place was
later done in October 2011 and the condition
of the churches was not encouraging, at least
to our human eyes. The meetings at Chiutsi
had ceased and a lot of people at Nyamuzuwe
had backslidden. With hearts knit with kindly
affection towards these unfortunate but dear
souls, the Ministry decided to have a revisit to
Mutoko and by God’s grace the task was
accomplished. Below is a report of the revisit.
Task Executed On Sabbath the 29th of December 2012,
members of the Ministry set for Mutoko for a
post-mission revisit. A total of 11 people
attended the program. We left Harare around
7:30am arriving at Nyamuzuwe
Church at almost 10am. The Sabbath was a
heart-warming one. The people sang with
exuberant joy through the service and the
local members were so happy to see faces
familiar to them (especially the sekurus were
smiling so wide with the reminiscent
“kwayiwayi chere” greetings). Quite a great
reunion it was, perhaps typical of the one at
the sea of glass.
The church at Nyamuzuwe, though it has a
good building, is struggling to grow and but-
tress itself in the area. The members who
came to church that Sabbath were around 15
(some were said to have gone for holidays). In
the afternoon, some of our team were able to
do home visits to some of the backslidden
members with the company a local church
elder. One person visited was Mr Chibanda (a
non-Adventist whose wife is Adventist) and we
discussed a number of issues with him. He
showed great appreciation and promised to
make a decision. He was very responsive. We
also visited Sekuru Nyamuzuwe, who was
baptised during the mission, but had backslid-
den. He mentioned the problem of poor health
and had wondered to false prophets. He
promised to start coming the next Sab-
bath. He was very happy with the visit.
There is need for constant home visits
and nurturing new believers and the local
church committing itself to this work of
encouraging each other in the faith.
We were not able to go Chiutsi due
to transport challenges but the report we
got was that the church has long been
deserted. However, 3 members from
Chiutsi came to attend at Nyamuzuwe.
There are no more regular meetings done
at Chiutsi. But we were told that there is
lay pastor who just came for training from
Solusi. May be the Lord is sending forth
reapers for His harvest.
The visit was aimed at ex-
horting and charging the local church to
“go” work for their fellow neighbours,
and ideas were shared of starting mid-
week prayer meetings, visiting the
sick...etc, reiterating that “a working
church is a growing church”. Two (2)

publish some-
thing on this
subject. But
how it could be
done without
money, was the
question, as all
that he had was
a York shilling
(twelve and a
half cents). …
Four Pounds of Flour ….While in prayer before God, he decided to
write the book, and felt assured that the way
would open to publish it. He therefore seated
himself at his desk, with Bible and concord-
ance, to begin his work. In the course of an
hour, Mrs. Bates came into the room and
said, "Joseph, I haven't flour enough to make
out the baking," and at the same time men-

H earing of the company in Washing-
ton, New Hampshire, that were
keeping the Sabbath, [Bates] con-
cluded to visit that church, and see what it
meant. He accordingly did so, and on studying
the subject with them he saw they were
correct, and at once accepted the light on the
Sabbath question. On returning to New Bed-
ford, Mass., he met, on the bridge between
New Bedford and Fair Haven, a prominent
brother, who accosted him thus, "Captain
Bates, what is the news?" Elder Bates replied,
"The news is that the seventh day is the Sab-
bath of the Lord our God." "Well," said the
man, "I will go home and read my Bible, and
see about that." So he did, and when next they
met, this brother had accepted the Sabbath
truth and was obeying it.
Elder Bates at once began to preach this truth
from State to State. He soon saw that a book,
or even a tract, on the Sabbath question would
be a great help to him in his work, and his soul
was moved by the Spirit of God to write and
tioned some other little articles that she
needed. "How much flour do you lack?"
asked Captain Bates. "About four pounds
[=1.8 kilograms]," was her reply. "Very
well," replied he. After she had left the
room, he went to a store near by, pur-
chased the four pounds of flour and the
other articles, brought them home, and
again seated himself at his writing desk.
Presently Mrs. Bates came in and saw the
articles on the table and exclaimed,
"Where did this flour come from?" "Why,"
said the captain, "isn't there enough? You
said you wanted four pounds." "Yes," said
she," but where did you get it?" "I bought
it," said he; "is not that the amount you
wanted to complete the baking?" "Yes,"
continued Mrs. Bates, "but have you,
Captain Bates, a man who has sailed
vessels out of New Bedford to all parts of
the world, been out and bought four
pounds of flour?" "Yes, was not that the
amount you needed to complete the
baking?" "Yes," said Mrs. Bates, "but have
you bought four pounds(!) of flour?"
Adventist Heritage: The first book on the Sabbath (adapted from The Great Second Advent Movement, by J Loughbrough)
A Step Of Faith ….When Captain Bates left the sea, he
sold out his interest in a ship for $11,000,
but now he had spent his all to advance
the cause of truth. Up to this date Mrs.
Bates did not know his true financial
condition, but he felt that he must now
acquaint her with it, so he calmly said,
"Wife, I spent for those articles the last
money I have on earth." With bitter sobs
Mrs. Bates inquired, "What are we going
to do?" The captain arose, and with all the
dignity of a captain directing his vessel,
said, "I am going to write a book; I am
going to circulate it, and spread this Sab-
bath truth before the world." "Well," said
Mrs. Bates, through blinding tears, "what
are we going to live on?" "The Lord is
going to open the way," was Captain
Bates's smiling reply. "Yes," said Mrs.
Bates, "the Lord is going to open the way!
That's what you always say," and bursting
into tears she left the room. TO BE CON-
TINUED.

increasing.
The workers in the cause
should not feel that the only way they can
work is to make known all points of doc-
trine as held by Seventh-Day Adventists, at
once, and in every place. Such a course
would close the ears of the people at the
outset, and frustrate the end sought. God
would have his workers be as lambs among
wolves, wise as serpents, but harmless as
doves. Their own ideas must be laid aside,
and they must follow the direction of the
Spirit of God. They should not feel that all
the truth of God is to be spoken to unbe-
lievers on any and every occasion, but
should plan carefully what to say and what
to leave unsaid. This is not practicing de-
ception; it is working as Paul worked.
As Paul Worked- He says, "For
though I be free from all men, yet have I
made myself servant unto all, that I might
gain the more. And unto the Jews I became as
a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that
are under the law, as under the law, that I
might gain them that are under the law; to
them that are without the law, as without law,
(being not without law to God, but under the
law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are
without law...” He did not approach the Jews
in a way to stir up their prejudice. He did not
run the risk of making them his enemies by
telling them the first thing that they must
believe on Jesus of Nazareth; but he dwelt on
the promises of the Old Testament scriptures,
which testified of Christ, of his mission, and of
his work. Thus he led them along step by step,
showing them the importance of honoring the
law of God. He also gave due honor to the
ceremonial law, showing that Christ was the
one that instituted the whole Jewish economy of sacrificial service. After dwelling upon these
things, evincing that he had a clear under-
standing of them himself, he brought them
down to the first advent of Christ, and proved
that in the crucified Jesus every specification
had been fulfilled. This was the wisdom that
Paul exercised. He approached the Gentiles,
not by exalting the law at first, but by exalting
Christ, and then showing the binding claims of
the law. He showed them plainly how the light
that was reflected from the cross of Calvary
gave significance and glory to the whole Jewish
system.
Shaping the Message to Circumstances Thus he varied his manner of labor, always
shaping his message to the circumstances under
which he was placed; and, yet, though after
patient labor he was successful to a large de-
gree, many would not be convinced. There are
some who will not be convinced by any method of
presenting the truth. The laborer for God should,
nevertheless, study carefully the best method, in
order that he may not arouse prejudice or stir
up combativeness unnecessarily. Let him give
the people evidence that he is a true Christian,
conscientious, desiring peace and not strife, and
that he has a love for their souls. Thus the
confidence of the people will be gained.
Christ said to his disciples, "I have many
things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them
now." There were many things he did not say to
them because their education and ideas were of
such a character that his instruction would have
confused their minds, and raised questioning and
unbelief that it would have been difficult
to remove.
Not Stereotype
God's workmen must be many-sided
men; that is, they must have breadth of
character. They must not be one-sided
men, stereotyped in their manner of
working, getting into a groove where
they are unable to see that their words
and manner of labor must vary to suit
the class of people they are with, and
the circumstances they have to meet.
All should be constantly seeking to
subdue their own prominent character-
istics and educate their weaker powers,
so that the mind may be evenly bal-
anced. This is necessary, if they make
useful, successful laborers. God would
have his servants, old and young, contin-
ually improving, learning better how to
reach the people. They should not
settle down contented, thinking that
their ways are perfect, and that others
must work just as they work. All our
methods and plans should bear the
divine mold.

“As we near the final
crisis...all our work
should be conducted
according to well-
defined plans.”
“...thou shalt raise up the foun-
dations of many generations, and
thou shalt be called, The repairer
of the breach...”
The Necessity of Thorough Organization (Selected Messages vol 3 pg 23)
G od is teaching, leading, and
guiding His people, that they
may teach, lead, and guide
others. There will be, among the rem-
nant of these last days, as there were
with ancient Israel, those who wish to
move independently, who are not willing
to submit to the teachings of the Spirit of
God, and who will not listen to advice or
counsel. Let such ever bear in mind that
God has a church upon the earth, to
which He has delegated power. Men will
want to follow their own independent
judgment, despising counsel and reproof;
but just as surely as they do this they will
depart from the faith, and disaster and
ruin of souls will follow. Those who rally
now to support and build up the truth of
God are ranging themselves on one side,
standing united in heart, mind, and voice
in defense of the truth.
Strength from Concerted Action The Lord would have all who act a part
in His work bear testimony in their lives
to the holy character of the truth. The
end is near, and now is the time when
Satan will make special efforts to distract
the interest and separate it from the all-
important subjects that should arrest
every mind to concentrated action.
An army could do nothing successful-
ly if its different parts did not work in
concert. Should each soldier act without
reference to the others, the army would
soon become disorganized. Instead of
gathering strength from concentrated
action, it would be wasted in desultory,
meaningless efforts. Christ prayed that
His disciples might be one with Him, as
He was one with the Father. . . .
Whatever good qualities a man may
have, he cannot be a good soldier if he
acts independently. Good may occasion-
ally be done but often the result is of
little value, and often the end shows
more mischief done than good. Those
who act independently make a show of
doing something, attract attention, and
flash out brightly, and then are gone. All
must pull in one direction in order to
render efficient service to the cause. . . .
God requires concerted action of His
soldiers, and in order to have this in the
church, self-restraint is essential; self-
restraint must be exercised.
Counsel Together– Compare Plans In every effort in every place where
the truth is introduced there is need of
different minds, different gifts, different
plans and methods of labor being united.
All should make it a point to counsel
together, to pray together. Christ says
that, "If two of you shall agree on earth
as touching any thing that they shall ask,
it shall be done for them of my Father
which is in heaven." (Matthew 18:19). No
one worker has all the wisdom that is
needed. There should be a comparing of
plans, a counseling together. No one
man should think himself sufficient to
manage an interest in any place without
helpers.
One man may have tact in one
direction, but may be a decided failure
upon some essential points. This makes
his work imperfect. He needs the tact
of another man's mind and gift to blend
with his efforts. All should be
perfectly harmonious in the work. If
they can work with only those who see
just as they do and follow just their
plans, then they will make a failure. The
work will be defective because none of
these laborers have learned the lessons
in the school of Christ that makes them
able to present every man perfect in
Christ Jesus. All should be constantly
improving. They should lay hold of
every opportunity and make the most
of every privilege, until they become
better fitted for their great and solemn
work.
“ Whatever good qualities a
man may have, he cannot be a good soldier if he acts inde-
pendently.”
But God has set in the church
different gifts. These are all precious in
their place, and all are to act a part in
the perfecting of the saints.
This is God's order, and men must
labor according to His rules and ar-
rangements if they would meet with
success. God will accept only those
efforts that are made willingly and with
humble hearts, without the trait of
personal feelings or selfishness.
Practice in the Early Days When the cause was younger, my
husband [James White] used to counsel
with men who had sound judgment. The
work was much smaller then than it is
now, but he did not feel able to manage
it alone. He chose counselors from
among those bearing responsibility in all
parts of the work. And after counseling
together, these men would go back to
their work feeling a still greater respon-
sibility to carry the work forward in
right lines, to uplift, to purify, to solidify,
so that the cause of God might move
forward in strength
Independence a Delusion of Satan It is a delusion of the enemy for anyone
to feel that he can disconnect from
agencies which God has appointed and
work on an independent line of his own,
in his own supposed wisdom, and yet be
successful. Although he may flatter
himself that he is doing God's work, he
will not prosper in the end. We are one
body, and every member is to be united
to the body, each person working in his
respective capacity.
It is not a good sign when men will not
unite with their brethren, but prefer to act
alone, when they will not take in their
brethren because they do not just exactly
meet their mind. If men will wear the yoke
of Christ, they cannot pull apart. They will
wear Christ's yoke, they will draw with
Christ.
As we near the final crisis, instead of
feeling that there is less need of order and
harmony of action, we should be more
systematic than heretofore. All our work
should be conducted according to well-
defined plans.
I am receiving light from the Lord that
there should be wise generalship at this
time more than at any former period of our
history.
Thorough Organisation Essential Oh, how Satan would rejoice if he could
succeed in his efforts to get in among this
people, and disorganize the work at a time
when thorough organization is essential,
and will be the greatest power to keep out
spurious uprisings and to refute claims not
endorsed by the Word of God! We want
to hold the lines evenly, that there shall be
no breaking down of the system of organi-
zation and order that has been built up by
wise, careful labor. License must not be
given to disorderly elements that desire to
control the work at this time.
Some have advanced the thought that as
we near the close of time, every child of
God will act independently of any religious
organization. But I have been instructed by
the Lord that in this work there is no such
thing as every man's being independent. The
stars of heaven are all under law, each
influencing the other to do the will of God,
yielding their common obedience to the law
that controls their action. And in order that
the Lord's work may advance, healthfully
and solidly, His people must draw together .

MISSION GO Ministry | February 2013
"Every truly converted soul will be intensely desirous to bring others from the
darkness of error into the marvelous light of the righteousness of Christ. The
great outpouring of the Spirit of God, which lightens the whole earth with his
glory, will not come until we have an enlightened people who know by experi-
ence what it means to be laborers together with God. When we have entire
whole-hearted consecration to the service of Christ, God will recognize the
fact by an outpouring of His Spirit without measure; but this will not be while
the largest portion of the church are not laborers together with God."

Mission Go© is committed to
sharing Christ in places
where the Advent message
has not yet penetrated . This
we accomplish through hold-
ing public evangelism campaigns, house-to-
house Bible studies and helping the underprivi-
leged in such communities. Over the past 8
years the ministry has recorded more than 200
baptisms and planted 4 churches around Zimba-
bwe. We are a non-profit making organization
thriving on donations from well-wishers
