WHY DID YOU BECOME A COSMETIC DENTIST? I knew I wanted to be a dentist from the time I was 10. I gravitated toward cosmetic dentistry because it allows me to express my creativity.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB? I don’t think of it as a job— I love what I do and that I can give somebody a better quality of life.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO UNWIND? My wife and I are very active—we love snowboarding, mountain biking, stand-up paddleboarding and relaxing at the beach with our kids.
WHAT IS ON THE HORIZON FOR DENTISTRY? The evolution of bio-engineering and the use of stem cells to treat TMJ is an exciting frontier—the possibilities are endless.

After completing dental school at USC, I went on to obtain my post-graduate training from UCLA in the Advanced Aesthetic Continuum to supplement my proficiency as a cosmetic dentist. Because I felt it was important to offer my patients an entire cosmetic treatment plan, I trained at the renowned Pacific Implant Institute which allows me to do all aspects of dental implant surgery including bone grafts and sinus augmentations.

HOW DO YOU CUSTOMIZE SMILE DESIGNS?
We look at things like facial shape, age and personality traits. I do a complete facial analysis and take extensive photographs, with the goal of giving each patient a smile that is as unique as they are.
YOUTHFUL SMILE MAKEOVERThis 66-year-old complained that her smile was discolored and crowded with worn bonding, which aged her. Dr. Fulbright was able to transform her smile using Invisalign to straighten her teeth, along with whitening and eight all-porcelain crowns on the upper arch. “She is now more confident and looks years younger,” says Dr. Fulbright.
