Here's a breakdown of the speech: He immediately disarms the audience (gets the audience on his side). Hook the audience within 45 seconds. He develops a message. He keeps you guessing. He lets that message guide his speech. He effectively uses body language. He has a dialogue with the audience. He ends on a hopeful note.
